My friend is local to the area and loves this place so she took me while I was in town! We both got the pork souvlaki plate, tiropita, and ek mek to share. Everything was fantastic. Service was a little slow as I think they only had one server for the whole restaurant while we were there but we enjoyed our time. Before we left we got a few things from the bakery to take home. Definitely a great spot in town for Greek food and pasteries!

Fast service and seating. Excellent coffee choices. Great place to catch up w family and friends. Friendly staff. They also have other refreshments and alcoholic beverages. You can't go wrong. Lots of food options both savory and sweet. We opted for sweets today. Usually will get appetizers and other yummy menu items and we'll finish off with desserts. Large enough to share. Will be back again real soon. Try them I'd you haven't tried them already.

My friend and I met after work at Papagalino Bakery. Do not get it confused (as I did), with Papagalino Express which is just a few doors down and is closed in the afternoon. There is limited parking, and lots of covered seating (for warmer weather) and we dined in the restaurant. There is a bakery and some packaged items off to the right. The menu has lots of Greek items on the menu, in addition to salads, wraps and burgers. I ordered a Greek Villager Salad with Greek fries. My salad was bright and fresh with colorful veggies and blocks of feta and olives. The Greek fries had some shredded cheese and vinegar -- fantastic and so addicting. We finished with coffee and dessert -- I had a latte and we shared a nougatina -- Greek almond cream cake. Service was relaxed and friendly -- my friend knew the staff and a lot of the patrons. They let us linger undisturbed -- it wasn't that crowded -- but my friend said that people come later and it gets very crowded. Good food, generous portions and delicious desserts.

My boyfriend really liked this place. He liked the ambiance and dated decor. He enjoyed his food too. My pasta (the Greek Makaronada) was okay. Not pictured was our spanakopita. It was average. I love spanakopita so I was disappointed. The service was fine. We were visiting family in the area, this place was recommended to us but I wouldn't return for dinner. The bakery seems to be more popular. I heard good things about the coffee!

The place is ok. It seems like an old-school place that may have been here for a while but I'm not sure. I stopped in and picked up a couple pieces of tiramisu which were not bad, but I've certainly had better. The service was... weird, I guess? The woman barely spoke to me but oh well. They also sell some prepared foods, potato chips (never saw oregano potato chips before) and other things. They seem to have a lot of seating in their vestibule. There's parking for the strip mall but make sure to enter from the entrance drive, as it's diagonal one-way. I don't think it's likely I'll return; although it's not terribly out of the way it's also not particularly convenient and I think I can find anything I'd get here elsewhere.

Soooo many cakes and varieties!!!! I came on a weekday and it was not very busy at the bakery. I tried to come during one of the weekends, parking lot was packed! I picked up couple of slices to try and it was delicious! Will be back to order some full size cakes.

This is not "fresh" review. I visited this place few months ago, but here I am now with review. The friend who invited me to come here was their former employee, and told me all the best about this place. She was thrilled about the place, their food, atmosphere, service... literally everything. She also mentioned she is visiting them as a guest quite often. The place as a place has a nice atmosphere (when I say it- it means it reminds me on my home country). Service was fast and good. Food as food is nothing spectacular. One average greek gyro. It is definitely 3/5. The portions are big, that is what I can say, but nothing else. I haven't tried anything else besides that. I might visit them in the future to try something more, because I don't like to write off the places based on one impression.

My review is for the bakery and cafe. I have been to Papagalino a couple of times. Once was for a takeout of some pastries and more recently for dine in. In both of my visits, I had a good experience. On my recent visit, my party and I came here for desserts (only). The cafe was busy and the parking lot was near full. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was happening and lively. A lot of patrons were enjoying their food and drinks and seemed to be having a good time. Our server was friendly and helpful. She provided good service. We ordered five pastries and five drinks. For the drinks, we ordered two Machiattos, two Baileys coffee, and one Greek coffee. For pastries, we ordered the following pastries (see their menu for details): 1) Menelik Layer of Chocolate and Yellow Cake, Filled With Vanilla Custard & Chocolate Mousse With Roasted Almonds 2) La Orange Layers of Yelllow Cake Filled With Orange Custard Cream 3) Galaktoboureko A traditional Greek dessert featuring a custard in a crispy phyllo pastry shell. 4) Ek Mek Kataifi Strudel phyllo with Custard and Walnuts. 5) Cheesecake I ordered the Menelik. I also tried the other pastries (except for cheesecake). All the drinks and pastries were good in taste. We all liked what we had. My favorites were the La Orange and Ek Mek Kataifi. I liked their flavors and texture a lot. They have a good variety of desserts and drinks on their menu. They are reasonably priced in today's times. Before leaving the cafe, we swung by their bakery shop, and some of us purchased other sweet treats to go. We were helped by the manager of the shop and she was helpful. I saw more variety of pastries that drew my attention, which I hope to try on my next visit. I would recommend checking out this establishment, especially if you like dessert and drinks. It is definitely worth a visit and more.

Quiet when we started around 11am on a Sunday, but got busier though not packed by the time we left about 90 minutes later. Service was fine, we enjoyed ourselves and weren't rushed, very much allowed to finish our visit even though we didn't order much. I learned that many items can have a different name depending on how the same ingredients are shaped or cut, but they're basically still all baklava ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I have more learning to do. Would visit again.

This is the first time I ever visited this bakery so I didn't know what to expect. The woman that helped me was so lovely. I came at 8pm looking for breakfast items for my church breakfast group the following morning. I ended up buying a special Easter bread that was topped with almonds and had an "egg" in the center. My church gals loved that! The walnut cake is super moist and delicious. My daughter picked the chocolate mousse cake decorated like a lion. So far I liked what I tried and I plan to go back and try other items.

They made a custom cake for me last week and it was not only beautiful but delicious as well. I texted them a picture and they duplicated it perfectly on the cake. It was a sheet cake, chocolate and vanilla with white chocolate mousse between the layers. While picking up the cake I tried some of their other treats like fresh made Baklava with walnuts! My favorite. They had so many Greek and Italian pastries it was tough to choose. I bought some traditional almond cookies in powdered sugar. Excellent. Love this place.

First stop on my trip to Chicago. The place was large and spacious and plenty of seating. We seated ourselves and waited for the waiter. Menu had a decent amount of options and I opted for the hot pikilia for 2. The platter definitely had a good assortment of options and is a great way to try multiple different meat options. We also grabbed some dessert to go, as we left. Overall i would the service was adequate, nothing exceptional but also not poor. The seating and area was spacious with plenty of outdoor lighting which was appreciated. The food, imo, was nothing that stood out. Will have to decide if I'd want to return to try more things from here.

After a long day of walking, talking, and imagining his future, we were more than ready for a comforting dinner. Tita Mia's has been a staple for us ever since a very good friend introduced it to our family a couple of years ago, and it has become a non‑negotiable stop every time we're in town. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by their inviting pastry area, an instant mood‑setter that hints at the good meal ahead. As we walked further in, the ambiance washed over me with a wave of nostalgia. Everything about the space, the décor, the warmth, the familiar scents, reminds me of home in Manila. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like you're about to enjoy a true Filipino dinner, not just a restaurant meal. Since it wasn't too busy, we were seated right away and our server took our order promptly. Service was quick and friendly, which we always appreciate after a long day. We ordered some of our favorites: Kare-Kare, sisig, and lumpiang gulay. Each entrée comes with rice, so there was no need to order extra. The food arrived fast and piping hot. Their Kare-Kare is exceptional, rich, creamy, and full of that deep peanut flavor that instantly brought me back to my mom's cooking. The sisig came out sizzling just the way it should, perfectly cooked and not overly salty like versions I've had elsewhere. And the lumpiang gulay was freshly fried, crisp, and absolutely perfect when dipped in vinegar and paired with rice. By the end of the meal, we were happily stuffed, with enough leftovers to take home. Tita Mia's continues to be one of those places that feels like a warm hug, consistent, comforting, and deeply satisfying. We'll always make it a point to come back, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Filipino flavors.
