Love the healthy food options! Lots and lots of vegan choices and clearly labeled on the menu. It's nice to have a healthy quick option while at the airport and I'm very appreciative of that. However, my smoothie did not taste great and I don't know why if it was the protein powder or just not blended well, but there was something off about it. On the plus side, my smoothie bowl was very good. I really enjoyed it. It was delicious and tasted like cinnamon and almond butter. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture, but it was very good. Service was quick and fast did not wait very long . Even when very busy. In addition to the smoothies, they have smoothie bowls and food that are all vegan friendly as well as non-vegan foods I would absolutely try them again next time I'm in that terminal at Chicago O'Hare

On my flight layover to Europe I thankfully found Protein Bar & Kitchen in the Chicago airport. Great portion for the price and very filling! I had the Superfood Salad (V) that had me filled for the next 10 hr flight. Highly recommend and want to try more

Solid burrito for the price, service was fast. The location is incorrect though, this picture is in O'Hare terminal 5.

She walked away and then a gentleman walks up and literally asked us what we wanted. Food, drinks, what? I said, nothing....we don't want anything and we left. I understand (and presume due to the proximity to the airport) that a lot of their clientele are business travelers looking primarily for drinks at the bar. But my wife and I were dressed down and they just assumed we just wanted to eat at the bar. It just rubbed me the wrong way. We left and won't be coming back. No thank you, we don't "want" anything that badly.

Service was excellent and the food selection was perfect for those that are vegetarian or meat lovers. A few things to pass: 1. Parking. Park is the hotels' parking lot, take a ticket and drive up to the 4th to 11th level. Bring your ticket with you and the restaurant will validate it after you've eaten. 2. Order an appetiser to share and consider one of their whiskeys. It's a nice selection, they had a bottle of Bookers while I was there. I had the double bean burgers d it was excellent. I also had an order of the truffle fries. Liked them here because they were not soaked in truffle oil lije I've had elsewhere before. Big restaurant so even with a nice size party you don't likely need a reservation. Even though we were tempted to go to Capital Grill, right next door, this was a very good choice!!

07/2026 Rating: 4.5…read more RESTAURANT: Can't miss this location as it was situated right at the corner of a busy intersection. The restaurant is large and have both indoor and outdoor seating. Decor pays homage to its hometown and old school pizzaria vibe. There's one side specifically for togo/online pick up. Restrooms are clean and there are plenty of parking. We noticed some people just sitting on their tables playing with their phones like they were done eating...and then it dawned on us that they were waiting for their 45 mins. pizza. SMH CUSTOMER SERVICE: We were greeted and seated immediatedly. Our server was very nice and she answered all of our questions...I just wished she asked what pizza we wanted first because the last thing she told us after we took our drink order and everything else is that the pizza will take 45 minutes to cook! Which in my mind sounds like a gimmick for us to buy more food while we wait but we were super hungry anyway so it was not an issue for us that day. Anyway, she saw couldn't decide what pizza to get so she suggested we can order half and half! Success! Then, when our pizza finally arrived, our pizza server (a sweet Filipina) insisted on serving our pizza to demonstrate the dramactic cheese pull..and which I appreciated that she indulged me on doing it again for an insta boomering...success! FOOD We ordered the a Chicago deep pizza ofcourse, 10 inch, half pepperoni and half the special. We added the sampler and calamari and house salad. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted so light and refreshing on top of the fresh mozarella and bread that even my son whom dislikes tomatoes devoured them. The fried mozarella on their marinari was bomb, same with the chicken nuggets. Now the calamari was completely unexpected. I thought it was just going to be a bunch of chewy rings...but instead it came with the tentacles and fried lemon (which are very bitter) and banana peppers. They were so good especially with a dollop of the marinara sauce. The house salad with the Giordano dressing was delicious. And they did not lie, that pizza arrived in about 45 minutes and by then we were feeling a bit stuffed. The pizza was as promised...it was thick, cheesey and stuffed with fat pieces of sausage and lots of pepperoni. I will probably hold off on the onions next time because there was a lot. Sad to say we had no room for dessert but we were very satisfied. Overall, this visit was an excellent in person experience. We've had a to-go order and a frozen one before but experiencing it in person and in Chicago made it extra special. Price point is pretty fair considering on the quality and amount of food you get. Perfect place to dine with groups of all sizes. May want to order ahead prior to getting to the restaurant, or take your time eating the appetizers to help pass time while you wait for your pizza. Like any Chicago Style Deep Dish, they take a long time to bake. Order ahead or just be patient when you order at table like we did. I typically takes about 40 minutes. We ordered the DEEP DISH PIZZA named "THE SPECIAL". It comes with sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. It was very delicious. We ordered a 12" size pie for the three of us. It looked so huge that we didn't think we would be able to finish it...but we did. Can't let such good pizza go to waste. Highly recommend when in Chicago area. They are sprinkled all over. We ate at the airport location since stayed at hotel by airport for early morning departure.

I was actually pretty impressed by this place! This is more of a 4.5 star review, but I can bump it…read moreup because maybe it was just a "bad night". If you are looking for a good ol Mexican place, this is the place for you! They do take reservations and are pretty sizable. We went on Saturday night which was a bit crazy. It was very crowded and we were concerned about the service. While the service was a little bit on the slower side and we were there for almost 90 minutes, all the food came out hot and delicious. I got the Enchiladas in Mole Sauce which was excellent. It also came with a soup or salad which was a nice surprise. I went with the black bean soup which was great! If there was any downside, my House Margarita tasted a little weird. I probably could have complained, but I kept with it. Pretty good size, but I think there was a little too much tequila in it! Either way, this place isn't inexpensive, but you do get quite a bit of food and everybody at my table enjoyed their meal. Sometimes thats enough! This is a great icon in this part of Chicago/Rosemont.

Maria's has gone downhill!…read more Very disappointed with Maria's today. I'm never going back after what happened today. First of all, there's nothing vegan on the menu. So when I usually order veggie tacos or they're called vegetariano I used to have a good time with them. This time, I ordered the vegetariano tacos and I said no cheese and I also ordered the black bean soup. The black bean soup came with a whole bunch of grated cheese on top of it. She dumped it on the table and left. She just walked away. In my mind, the waitress was telling me to uck off. I could be wrong. Instead of waiting for her to come back and sending the soup back, I scooped up all the grated cheese and threw it on the plate next to me and ate the black bean soup. When the veggie tacos came, there was no salsa. So I waited for the waitress to come back, and I said, I want some green and red salsa, and she brought me two bottles of hot sauce and left. So my sister asked the busboy in spanish, "green and red salsa" and he said, okay, I'll get it for you. He didn't, the waitress came back, and we told her I wanted green and red salsa, and she told me the green salsa was very hot. I told her to take back the veggie tacos cause they're cold already, and I can't eat them. Wth all this back-and-forth, I'm now in front of naf knaf grill, and I'm gonna get some falafel there. What a waste of time I'm never going back to marias, again, never, never never never! I think the waitress did not speak English that well too bad. So sad, i'm never going there again and I eat veggie tacos several times a week, and many other places which are better than maria's. If you're thinking about going there, forget it, there's much better places out there in this world that are vegan friendly.

(2/5) | How Did We Get Here?... to not-so-fresh fast food (Rosemont, IL - 15 mins from ORD)…read more I pulled up to BIBIBOP Asian Grill looking for something quick, clean, and energizing--especially this close to the airport where a solid, reliable meal matters. And visually? They deliver. The space is bright, modern, and gives fresh lifestyle energy. You walk in thinking you're about to make a smart, feel-good food choice. But here's where things shifted... I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and unfortunately, the food reflected that timing. My bowl--while generously portioned--lacked that just-made freshness you expect from a concept like this. The steak tasted like it had been sitting for a while, the vegetables were more soft than crisp, and the overall bowl didn't have that hot, vibrant, made-to-order feel. It felt more like end-of-day service than a fresh build experience. The energy at the counter also felt a bit checked out--like the night was already winding down. To be fair: * The concept is strong * The customization is appealing * The branding is on point But when your entire identity is built around "eat well, be well," freshness isn't optional--it's the standard. Would I return? Probably not. Not when the core promise didn't deliver. Final Take: If you're curious, go earlier in the day. This feels like a place where timing could completely change the experience. How did we get here? To a wellness-driven brand... that missed the mark on freshness when it mattered most.

Seating was shared with other vendors and tables were first come first serve. I realized the menu and concept was similar to that of Chipotle, so I was excited to try something slightly different. I ended up ordering a Create Your Own Bowl with char-grilled chicken. I included all standard toppings for my bowl and noticed how skimpy the portions were. I thought they would load up rice as filler but if anything they loaded up on lettuce. The chicken was very dry, the rice tasted like Rice A Roni, and the vegetable toppings didn't really taste fresh. The saddest part of my bowl was that I could see the bottom of the bowl through the toppings, indicating the amount of food provided was very minimal. Considering my bowl was not filling and contained mediocre ingredients, I know never to try any of the Burrito Beach locations again. Even though I ordered from the airport location, I shouldn't still be hungry after finishing my overpriced bowl.
