I ended up at Burrito Beach in what seemed like a food court while waiting around killing time. The food court was packed and busy but I saw the Burrito Beach line was moving a little quicker so I went with that. Seating was shared with other vendors and tables were first come first serve. I realized the menu and concept was similar to that of Chipotle, so I was excited to try something slightly different. I ended up ordering a Create Your Own Bowl with char-grilled chicken. I included all standard toppings for my bowl and noticed how skimpy the portions were. I thought they would load up rice as filler but if anything they loaded up on lettuce. The chicken was very dry, the rice tasted like Rice A Roni, and the vegetable toppings didn't really taste fresh. The saddest part of my bowl was that I could see the bottom of the bowl through the toppings, indicating the amount of food provided was very minimal. Considering my bowl was not filling and contained mediocre ingredients, I know never to try any of the Burrito Beach locations again. Even though I ordered from the airport location, I shouldn't still be hungry after finishing my overpriced bowl. read more

Honesty wasn't bad. I wanted something hot and the line moved quickly. I did something simple which was the Miguel breakfast burrito; actually pretty tasty. The staff were super speedy with getting in the line down. With everything so visited it's kind of intimidating because they're trying to get you through. So I feel like if you had questions they might get a little irritated but maybe that's just me; if the vibe was more like take your time look then I may be rated a 5. Happy eating!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my burrito at Burrito Beach today. I was looking for something high in protein for breakfast and I was able to build my own burrito (actually they build it) with egg, bacon and a verde sauce. I could have added other ingredients, but that's all I wanted. The burrito was remarkably good for airport food. Burrito Beach is located in the Food Court of Terminal 3. The line moves quickly and the team is friendly. Food Court seating is available but tight. They serve breakfast options until 10:30 am then switch to lunch/dinner burritos tacos and bowls. Prices are great for airport food. My burrito was only $8. They even serve margaritas, but I didn't try one. read more

Burrito Beach in Terminal 3 at O'Hare is one of my go to spots if I need to eat at ORD. It's not fussy and the ordering process is straightforward. The line moves rather quickly. The food is tasty and the prices are not too bad for the airport. They give military discounts if you have ID. read more

Fast casual burrito place inside the airport. I ordered a baja shrimp burrito with a side of vegetables. The shrimp is cooked to order for each burrito/entree. It was very fresh. A lot of toppings to choose from. The black beans and yellow rice were good. Everything had seasoning to it, especially the shrimp. I added some habanero sauce for some spice. The vegetables were a little plain, but very fresh. The line moved quickly and efficiently. read more

8/13/25: this is airport food: have adequate expectations. --- the guac was fab and i do highly rec it! --- this place is located in the airport's food hall in H/K, with tons of places to choose from, but this is only burrito place. i thought for a grilled chicken burrito, it was affordably priced. im on treat yo self mode, on a michelin 3 chicago foodie trip, so i did add guac and chips. i did find "add ons" pricey, but whatever #yolo. the burrito itself was huge, filling, and satisfying. very generous portion. the service was very nice and polite. i interacted with 3 diff people and they were each nice. the people behind me were whisper-complaining about slow service but i thought the line moved well, considering they put my burrito on the hot grill to make it crispy. read more

Great option at the airport! The place is popular, and therefore, the lines are long, but it moves quickly, so don't be alarmed. I like that they have a veggie option and offer quinoa. I enjoyed it so much that I stopped there for dinner on my way back home Reasonably priced for airport food. I came by here while on a quick layover heading to San Francisco. You can find them in the food court of terminal three. The line moved fairly quick, but the service suffered because of it. The staff were not friendly at all. When it comes to the food, it's basically another version of Chipotle, where you BYO tacos, burritos, bowls, etc. I ordered a vegetarian burrito with black beans, rice, and guacamole along with my choice of extras like lettuce and sour cream. The employee that rolled my burrito did so horribly. It was very sloppy and made where I had to eat each ingredient individually before getting to the next one, which was weird and the only way to fix it was to eat it sideways. It was just a mess altogether. I travel through O'Hare a good bit and I won't likely try it again. read more

Service here was pretty quick on a busy Monday morning at the airport. The food was decent and what's to be expected from an airport. It's similar to Chipotle but instead of white or brown rice they offer Mexican rice. You get to put all these different things in the bowl or burrito and pay en extra $2.59 for homemade guacamole ... now if this is homemade my name is Carol Burnett lol. However, as expected, it's a bit pricier and doesn't quite match up to some of the other restaurants that offer the same options elsewhere like Qdoba and Chipotle. Although, I do feel like they have more protein options compared to places Qdoba/Chipotle. The service didn't really stand out - the first person in line seemed a bit crabby. When I requested both types of rice, he appeared taken aback before mentioning the additional 40 cents charge. No big deal for me; a few extra cents for an extra serving of rice is a small price to pay, especially for someone accustomed to hearty Asian portions. Let's manage expectations -- this place is good if you're expecting a Taco Bell x chipotle crossover baby. The meat is giving Taco Bell ground beef. The burrito is flavorful in the way Taco Bell or del taco is. The wraps and bowls available make the concept more similar to chipotle. Probably one of the better places to choose to eat in the airport, you can get a healthy meal that's fairly good. I would recommend the shrimp. You have to wait extra time for it but I think it's worth it. I forgot to ask for salsa, so my bowl was a little bit dry, and it was way too busy for me to even try to go back up and get some salsa. Although airport fast food restaurants tend to heard people like cattle it's never appreciated when they rush you and act like an ass when I asked to repeat the rice choices and there was no one in line behind me. l fly through O'hare quite frequently as an American Airlines executive platinum , and each time I do I make it my mission to choose Burrito Beach as my food option. Terminal 3 has 4 McDonald's which I do not eat, and other restaurants that doesnt provide food with fresh ingredients. What I enjoy most about the menu is the option of having Shrimp with my burrito or bowl, and no other place in terminal 3 provides that. Burrito Beach provides healthy options that the other places cannot provide! Most importantly I choose Burrito Beach because of the customer service. Working in the service industry is extremely challenging during these times, yet the team always greets each costumer with a positive welcome. There's been multiple occasions when I've felt the weight of the world on my shoulders & visited Burrito Beach only to be greeted with amazing energy from Jasmine, Karen & the entire time that would change the trajectory of my day. Probably wouldn't recommend this one. Though a burrito is always worth getting, this location at least really skimps. I opted for a burrito bowl while waiting for a flight, and they went so light on the rice and beans (which are incredibly cheap), in the end the bowl was maybe half full, not sure why they buy so large bowls when they don't give out filling portions. Unfortunately don't think I can't recommend this spot, and would definitely find alternative food options next time read more

My burrito was great. What was really great was the fact that it was almost closing time, maybe 5 minutes before 9pm. Reggio's was closed already, Manchu Wok was closed, but the manager at Burrito Beach was calling out letting people know they were about to close which was a nice gesture rather than closing early. I have food allergies and as soon as I mentioned celiac one employee stepped in and said "I'll do it I gotta clean gloves and clean utensils to serve with " Tyler had a great personality,was super positive, informative about my allergies, took it serious and didn't make fun of tease me. All the staff actually were extremely knowledgeable about celiac and my allergy which made me extremely comfortable. we were in terminal one and we had to walk two terminals over to have this delicious lunch, and it was totally worth it! read more
