Ordered from DoorDash for lunch. Food arrived fresh and was still in order. I will order again and do recommend. The Elote Corn Quesadilla was a new one to try and did not disappoint. I ordered popcorn chicken just in case and they were fresh and tasty also.
I don't know if we were so hungry from flying from hawaii but the food was SOOOO good!!!! We did family style but the service was so fast and the food was delicious!!! Highly recommend the bulgoggi quesadilla and the nachos!!!
Looked up this place and noticed it was right around the corner from the Godfrey where I was staying. Came to check it out and was blown away. Ordered a chicken burrito and I must say it's one of the best-tasting burritos I have ever had. The burrito was huge. This spot had a really chill, laid-back atmosphere. Can definitely come here and hang out for a good vibe. Service was friendly and quick. Great mashup of Mexican and South Korean culinary greatness. If staying in the downtown Chicago area, then it is definitely a try if you're in the mood for tacos and burritos!
Omgoodness. So much yum! We went a few weeks ago for a meet and greet. They were SO busy but the food was AhMazing. So we went back with our son and his fiancée to eat again. So yummy. We've had the burrito, the gogi bowl, the Korean fried chicken, rice cake on a stick, rice cake and sausage on a stick and the kimbap. The ONLY thing I wouldn't order again is the kimbap. Cuz I feel like I make it better at home OR I can get it just as good as them in a Korean grocery store for WAY cheaper. The service is ALWAYS super nice. You do have to find parking. We've used the Spot Hero app and have been fine. BUT you do have to pay for parking.
I wish there were more "fast food" spots like this one- with more flavorful bites with different sauces to try. The service was appropriate and accommodating, possibly because there weren't too many people waiting. You truly get such a big bite for what you pay for. I chomped through my burrito, but I could've easily saved it for another meal. And it kept me full for the rest of my busy, active day. Would recommend grabbing as a late night meal or a quick brunch spot, but it's a must try if you have a location near you!

I always think when you take two cultures and mix them you're doing a little too much, but this burrito is actually perfect. The tortilla was soft and warm the Bulgogi and steak paired perfectly with the Sriracha mayo sauce it came with. The kimchi rice added a little bit of kick and the Bulgogi was sweet and tender. Overall, a very delightful review and I will be ordering this again. Thank Seoul Taco for changing my perspective on this restaurant.
Came here on Cinco de mayo which happens to be taco Tuesday. The tacos are $1.5 each on Tuesdays (max 6 per person). The tacos itself were very flavorful and packed however one thing I do have to mention is that it was very salty. I had three tacos but I barely finished 1. But for this price, I don't think it can be beat. I love the paintings on the wall and they had a lot of seating. The order seems like it took longer than expected but it wasn't long enough for me to complain.
We go here consistently! The food is really tasty and it's easy to order. The price is awesome too for fast casual. Sometimes it does take longer to get your order because it's such a popular place so maybe factor that in.
Got the chicken burrito here and it was very big. Flavor wise, it wasn't bad since it tasted like marinated chicken and kimchi fried rice. The tacos were pretty good too. The fried chicken I got was very crispy and I don't taste much of the chicken. The service was fast and overall a good place for the money.
One night me and my friends were walking around downtown late at night, starving. I peep this taco place is open until 4am so we slide because there's practically nothing else at that point. Listen man, I am a taco connoisseur. I adore authentic Mexican food. I also love some good Korean food once in a while. Beef bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes of all time. If you are also a fan of both you NEED to pull up to this location. These are some of the best tacos I've had in my entire life. No exaggeration.
I experience Seoul Tacos booth at Complex Con and they did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and helped me decide on what I should eat. The food prices were good for the amount of food you get and I didn't wait long at all for my food. The tacos were sooooo good! Whatever they do to marinate the steak made it delicious! The elote bites were good but I wish they had a little less sauce on top. If this is what I can expect from the actual restaurant I'll definitely have to visit.

WOW. This place absolutely blew me away! As someone who loves both Korean BBQ and Mexican food, I figured I'd enjoy this spot, but I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. I ordered the bulgogi steak burrito, and let me tell you--this thing was massive. Seriously, it was HUGE. Not only was it massive, but it was packed with flavor. The bulgogi steak was tender, juicy, sweet, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was loaded with deliciousness, and the Korean-Mexican fusion worked way better than I could have imagined. The burrito was so enormous that I ended up eating half for lunch and saving the other half for dinner. That's not me trying to be healthy...that's just how gigantic it was! And somehow it tasted just as amazing later in the evening when I stuffed my face with all that meat. I also have to give a special shoutout to the woman working there. After getting my order, I realized I had forgotten to buy a side because my brain automatically assumed the burrito came with chips like some other places do. She saw my disappointment and totally hooked me up with some chips anyway, which was incredibly kind and completely unexpected. Little gestures like that go a long way and made an already great experience even better! Between the monster-sized portions, incredible flavors, and friendly customer service, this place was a home run. Chicago has some amazing food, but this was easily one of the most memorable meals I had during my trip. If you're debating whether to order the bulgogi steak burrito, stop thinking and just do it. Come hungry, wear stretchy pants, and thank me later. For the record , Los Angeles does not have something like this. We have KOGI TRUCK, which alternates days/nights throughout the city and you have to follow them based on their schedule. But to have a storefront like this in LA where I can easily visit 7 days a week would be a dream come true. read more
The Corn Elote Quesadilla (8.5/10) was top tier. Super cheesy and saucy with plenty of corn and the perfect amount of elote toppings. Adding chicken made it even better. Nothing crazy, just a really good quesadilla. The Spicy Pork Taco (7/10) was great with a nice savory, spicy flavor. The Beef Bulgogi Burrito (6/10) was saucy with a good meat to rice ratio, but both burritos tasted like Korean rice bowls wrapped in a tortilla, which wasn't really my thing. The Chicken Burrito (4/10) had noticeably less meat and was mostly rice. Everything is pretty sauce-heavy with a mayo-based sauce, so the food feels filling. read more

Came in when i found out seoul taco was doing a collab with Pink Mu. Pink Mu makes the best kimbaps chicago has ever had. I think it's such a perfect combo of Korean foods, Korean tacos and kimbaps! You can self order at the kiosk and Holly (owner of pink mu) was also there to help with any questions or tips. She's so so so friendly and kind. All the food came out so quickly and everything was so flavorful and fresh. We had chips and queso, which I LOVED. The cheesy elote bites were little bites of heaven. Kimchi fried rice being 4 bucks is a steal, it was so tasty, I think adding mozz cheese would take it to another level. We had the OG kimbap and the spicy pork kimbap, incredible. Just incredible. The misugaru horchata also was fantastic and I need it again. I also took home a miso caramel cookie that was fire. The interior is clean and spacious. I really enjoy the Korean mural, dope. I will be back for sure and I'll also def order delivery from here. We were able to find easy street parking outside. read more
I started going here since they opened , besides being Korean taco spot , it seams iit took some time for the restaurant to find a overall identity but theyve arrived to a Korean and Mexican Fusion menu that is a welcome addition to River North , especially late night dining , inside you'll find a variety of seating options including couch's , so people tend to hang out a bit , The Steak is the main item to focus on, marinated in Korean spices , the steak is tender and loaded with flavor , and the toppings are available in Korean style or Mexican style ,( Both. Very Good) They also have sides and a really good Horchata( Rice Water) prices are fair and you will leave full, overall I enjoy eating here but mostly just for a quick fix ! read more
I ordered Seoul Taco for dinner last night after hearing great things, and let me just say--it lived up to the hype and then some! This fast-casual Korean-Mexican fusion spot combines the best of both cuisines, and somehow, the results are even better together. I wasn't expecting anything life-changing, just some solid Sunday night delivery, but this meal absolutely blew me away. I ordered the Elote Quesadilla and one of each taco (beef, pork, and steak). The Elote Quesadilla was hands-down the best quesadilla I've ever had, and I've had my fair share--Mexican food is my favorite cuisine. The combination of the cheesy goodness with the street corn flavor was pure magic. It's the kind of dish you can't stop talking about, and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know. I literally texted a picture of it to at least five people today. The tacos were fantastic as well, and the fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors worked perfectly with the beef, pork, and steak. Plus, they had an awesome deal where I got three tacos free for ordering three--such a win! Seoul Taco has officially earned a top spot on my list. I'll definitely be ordering again, but I also need to visit in person to show them some love. I'll be dreaming about that Elote Quesadilla for a long, long time. read more
This place is sorta like the child of a mexican father and korean mother and I would say it is more mexican than korean, but that is just my impression. I ordered the three taco option and had one with chicken, one with pork, and one with bulgogi and of the three, I liked them all but really enjoyed the bulgogi the best and pork second best. Chicago is known for its eats and this place took the top prize for me during this visit. The fusion menu combines the best of diverse flavors and comes together in an incredibly flavorful way. Ordered the steak burrito and Gogi + Waffles combo and I'm still thinking about it a week later! The spicy pork waffle fries combo had me saying "wow" after every bite. The vibe is simple and fun - you order and pay at the counter and they'll bring your meal to you. I enjoyed the playlist and the upbeat atmosphere. Seoul Taco is a fast casual place with multiple locations across Chicago. As it is fast casual, you order and pay up at the counter and you get served the food thereafter. You bus your own table and help yourself with water. I tried the elote quesadilla with bulgogi, chicken taco, and a spicy pork burrito. The food has good Korean inspired flavors. The elote quesadilla flavors were a bit too sharp for my liking, but it is a creative dish. I wished they put a bit more bulgogi since you pay a higher price for bulgogi compared to other meats. This dish was really hearty. The chicken taco they gave me the wrong order so I couldn't really assess how the chicken is. They instead gave me a bulgogi taco which was a miss, but I guess from a financial standpoint I got a bargain. But the taco was a but small for $4 relative to other dishes they offer. The burrito is hearty with lots of kimchi rice (not much kimchi, mostly flavored rice which is fine since I don't like eating too much kimchi), and the spicy pork is decent. There is a lot of fat in the meat though, so I had to stop and take out the fat before continuing to eat the burrito. Good price for large portions. For less than $20 per person for a substantial meal, it is pretty decent. read more

I got the Seoul Tacos and they were really good! I've never seen Korean and Hispanic Fusion before but this worked really well. These tacos are on the sweeter side, but it's not too overpowering. The inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely with comfortable seating areas. There's kiosks to order your food and the staff are helpful. read more
Came here mainly because I saw a 10% coupon!! I am a sucker for discounts! The concept of Mexican & Korean food fusion really intrigued me to say the least! I wonder if this could be considered Korean street food!! Being in Chicago the foodie capital of America, I had to try this place as I love Mexican & Korean food separately!!my first impression was the manager was incredibly friendly & helpful as I had no idea what to order! I went with the Kimchi Cole Slaw & spicy Pork Burrito! The Kimchi Cole slaw was absolutely the best & freshest/crunchy I have tasted in a long time!! It was sweet & spicy! Delicious, I could have probably just eaten that! The Spicy Pork Burrito was massive probably for two! I should have ordered something smaller! The Korean food flavor came through strong! Delicious! I really enjoyed visiting this place, I'm glad I walked to this location as car parking would have been tedious!! The vibe was enhanced by loud hip-hop tunes! Maybe they should have played some K-pop to enhance the Korean mood! Regardless glad I visited this place!! Interestingly this trip I I did not see any Korean employees & patrons! The burrito was to die for. Quite literally after eating all of it. Would highly recommend. However, not for those with no spice tolerance. Although not too spicy, it is enough that you will feel it at least. The person I went with got a bulgogi quesadilla. They enjoyed it, however thought it was a bit too greasy. The staff was really polite and when they ran out of corn tortillas they asked us if wheat was fine and provided free meat for the quesadilla as an apology for the inconvenience. The restaurant itself was nice. Places to sit and relax, not great for large groups but enough seating none the less. I thought the music choice was a bit odd as it was playing rap music which didn't really fit the vibe of the place. Overall would definitely go back and crush another burrito read more
The Gogi Bowl was very tasty. I subbed in the fried rice instead of the regular rice, & had the spicy pork for my protein. Portion size was perfect (didn't end up finishing all the rice...). The lettuce for the most part was good (not many bad pieces), the spice level was hot (which I like!). Flavor was excellent and the pork was good (wasn't dry, had good flavor). My friend got the corn elote quesadilla. The first 1/4 was good, but she was unable to finish the final 1/4 bc of the flavors - the combo of the elote flavor with the sweetness of the chicken was a bit much. Portion size was good for this, and the amount of meat looked reasonable. I will say that playlist left something to be desired... read more
Service was good. A line formed almost immediately after we walked in for lunch time and they took all the orders right away. Food came out pretty quick and was delicious! My favorite was the fries, my boyfriend's favorite was the burrito. My only downside was it was A little on the salty side and I wish the fries were hotter but I won't knock that off the review because of how good it was. read more
Really fun interior, I thought the play on the words Seoul Taco was really cool to see artistically throughout the store. The food here is fantastic, I had the burrito and it was jam-packed. Come here hungry, cause the portions are big and will make sure you leave feeling satisfied. The chips and queso were normal, and the churro and miso chocolate was also alright. I though the churros were great, but the miso chocolate wasn't anything I'd want to try again. I think that normal chocolate probably would've worked better in this situation. After a workout, I spotted a huge billboard for Seoul Taco--and my body said, "You need this." I gave in (zero regrets) and ordered the kimchi fried rice with extra egg and chicken through Uber Eats. First off, the portion size blew me away--easily enough for two meals, which makes it great value for the price. Taste-wise, it was decent. I wasn't totally wowed, but I'm also super picky about fried rice. The chicken had a hint of sweetness that wasn't really my thing, but that might be a plus for others. Overall, a solid spot if you're craving Korean-inspired fast food in big portions. Worth a try, especially if you're hungry after a workout! read more

I came in for some takeout and this definitely hit the spot on a chilly Saturday night! The marinade on these tacos are fantastic, and the chicken literally melted in my mouth! Not to mention the flavors were delicious-- next time I will be getting the 3 taco dinner. For the kimchi fried rice (which is what I came here for)-- fantastic! The flavors were on point, and there was SO MUCH RICE. It easily could be split with 2-3 people as a side, but I treated it as an entree. I also got a churro which hit all the sweet tooth cravings I had. The staff was kind and quick with preparing the food. And the vibe is definitely chill/fast casual. read more
Incredible food with friendly staff and an excellent atmosphere. The smells alone in this restaurant are mesmerizing. As soon as you walk in, you were hit with the smell of delicious Korean spices. You immediately see a cozy interior with plenty of seating, and even a few couches. Food is really high-quality, and the quantity for the price is perfect. We got a ton of food ranging from chicken tacos to spicy pork tacos to Bulgogi elote quesadillas. We also got several sides such as their sweet potato fries, kimchi fried rice, and kimchi slaw. We even got some green grape Soju. I would say the only letdown dish for this sweet potato fries. Nothing fancy, and it's the Seoul sauce that really makes that dish good. Everything else was absolutely incredible. Perfectly balanced, suite and spicy tacos filled with the umami from the fried rice. Here's a food, hack I really enjoyed. Eat the kimchi slaw and the kimchi fried rice together. Overall, incredible spot with absolutely delicious food! I will definitely come back here several times in the near future. read more
4.5 stars. Ok I can finally see why this place has such good rating. Fusion between Korean and Mexican food. Flavors worked so well. I enjoyed everything that I ordered. The Korean cheesy corn elote quesadilla with bulgogi + a side of bulgogi taco. This place reminds me of Koja Kitchen in the South Bay, California but better. What caught my eye was their cheesy corn elote quesadilla!! Oh my this looked AMAZING!! I was drooling. I can see this place being popular for late night eats or after a night out of drinking. The Bulgogi was so yummy. They did not skimp out on the meat when assembling my taco. The elote quesadilla was slightly messy to eat but was oh soo delicious! Best of both worlds. I would totally order it again! We ordered through the kiosk and picked up the order at the counter. There was minimal interaction with staff. But they were efficient and friendly. Very spacious seating area and good music! read more

What are my options for strict vegetarian/ vegan?
The Tofu is vegan. Any entree with tofu as the protein that doesn't include Fried Rice or one of their sauces, all of which contain egg, is wholly vegan.
Does Seoul Taco offer vegan and gluten-free options?
The tofu is gluten free, but their meats are not. Taco shells and Seoul sauce are GF.
