Healthy, friendly spot good for a nice breakfast. Had the chia seed pudding and cold brew. It was nice to see they have become a little more vegan friendly than the last time I looked at their menu.

We came in for a Sunday brunch at this newest of their locations and this was also our first visit to this franchise. Though they are a 40 year old franchise, they have only been in Chicagoland for 4 years and this is the closest location to us in Park Ridge. It's in a great location also, being in a brand new strip mall that is near hotels, near O'Hare, across the street from Allstate Arena, and also housing a new Outback Steakhouse, Five Guys, and Taqueria Invicto. I'll go with 4.5 stars for our inaugural visit. Their menu is big, and we found our items were tip-top delicious, and prices are very reasonable. The place is popular and was totally packed but with the turnover we got an open table with no wait at 1:20pm. The wife and I both ordered a 2 For You (1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad) for $11.79. She got a Monterey club with a Cobb salad and I got a roast beef and havarti with a sweet honey pecan salad. Both were fresh, refreshing, and excellent. Christopher was our server and he was friendly and attentive. I knocked the rating back 1/2 star only because the A/C wasn't keeping up on this hot day and hopefully that was just a temporary situation. They have a handy process, pay-at-your-table via QR scan, that will save you check out time. I asked the friendly manager Kevin O. how they know folks have paid as they walk out, and he showed me the monitor that shows the table going green when paid, but it's all still largely an honor system that works well. Their dining space is pretty large and they also have a patio. There is a smaller parking lot out front and a much larger parking lot in the rear. I've seen Yelp reviews of their other locations and this new location lives up to the franchise's very good reputation. Thumbs up!

The service was great. Super nice server and our food was out promptly. It's loud. VERY loud. can barely hear myself think to be honest. Food was good. Really enjoyed the beef sandwich. The horseradish sauce was a perfect touch and made me realize I need to eat more horseradish. The million dollar potatoes were delicious. Would stop in just for these alone.

I was pleasantly surpised with everything here -- the service, food, adorable interior -- all of it exceeded my expectations. When we walked in on a saturday afternoon there was no wait for 3 of us. We were attended to by a wonderfully humorous and kind server called Matt (s/o to you Matt!) who gave us great recommendations. He was also very kind to comp us of our millionaire's bacon when the order was not placed originally. I ordered the trifecta with french toast per Matt's recommendations, as well as the honey crunch latte. The trifecta included my french toast, chicken apple sausage patty, and poached eggs, which were all delicious! The sausage patty seemed house made and did not seem like the typical frozen type you get at fast food restaurants or at the store. The french toast was delectable with the berry jam, sweet buttercream, and warmed up maple syrup. The poached eggs were runny in a good way. They were also able to modify the sweetness of the drink, and it was still tasty. The millionaire's bacon also was tasty, and only $6! I've had it at other places in san franciso where I paid $10-$20 for an order. Can't beat it! The interior is very aesthetic, and there is a good amount of seating. Parking is easy as well. I would definitely come back in the future.

Ambiance is new and Jumping. Did you know you can get on waitlist on your way in? I didn't but glad I know now! I went on a weekend so there was a wait. Love the menu options and how they change for seasons. Who doesn't love a cocktail at breakfast. Total was around $45 for 2 of us. You can scan your receipt and pay at the table and even split the check. Service was ok. Went on a weekend so it was busy.

Great breakfast spot close to the airport. Not spectacular, but nothing is done wrong, so reliable solid option. Chris our server was amazing. It was a nice day, we sat outside and enjoyed our meals.

Always enjoy First Watch and have visited locations in other states. It's always a good choice for breakfast or lunch. We went on a Thursday morning so it wasn't busy, but we still had great service and the staff was very attentive. I had the market veggie sandwich. It was really tasty with mushrooms, zucchini, a little pesto. Very well balanced. It came with a side salad and I also ordered a side of smoked ham. My partner had the works omelet. Which is basically what he orders every time we go here so he obviously enjoys it much! He tried the new Blue Booster juice but said he prefers the morning meditation juice after trying it. I had the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk which I've tried before at other locations. This one tasted a little different but I couldn't quite pinpoint what was different, maybe it had more coffee?? Not sure. Still good just different from last experience.

Lavender haze drink. No alcohol. They do serve some spiked drinks too.

I've been to this place numerous times and I can't get enough of it. The service is solid. The food is phenomenal. I tend to lean towards what I'm used to though they have this amazing coconut Chia Super Bowl so it's coconut Chia pudding that is delicious and it's topped with seasonal fruit a little bit of berry compote and on the side is this almond butter with sea salt toast. The biscuits and gravy are salad, but I like my gravy a little bit thicker . Their frittatas are dope, a.k.a. delicious. To drink I had the purple haze which was this lavender pea flower tea drink that was absolutely refreshing fragrant and not overpowering at all. Everytime I visit my friend in Schaumburg , we always hit this place up. Great people serving our food too.

5 Stars, no notes! We went as a group of 5 on a Sunday morning and opted to do the online "wait" while we headed to the restaurant. It took maybe about 6 minutes to be seated which was not bad at all. The place is loud as others have noted but not unexpected and it's not meant to be an intimate date environment so that's fine. I appreciate the brunch drink offerings that aren't served until 10:30am and our food came fast. The potatoes are AMAZING and are the star and the serving sizes are generous portions. The French toast was perfect and the staff was kind.

The image shows a restaurant interior with a ceiling featuring exposed metallic ductwork and hanging light bulbs, along with a dining area and a wall with shelves.

Ambiance is relaxed. I didn't notice music but it's not a place that echoes in silence. People chatted but not too loudly. The decor is modern. They have a small bar when you enter. Servers were quick and friendly. Peyton was our server and she was always doing something to set up when not needed. The food: Salmon frittata - 5 stars French toast - 5 stars Roast beef havarti sandwich - 3.5 stars. Something wasn't right. The cheese and the pickled onion clashed. It made it taste like sauerkraut. Not a kid-friendly sandwich. But it does have fresh beef and ingredients. Tomato basil soup 5 stars Broccoli cheese soup 4 stars

Smoked Salmon & Roasted Vegetable Frittata - A breakfast dish featuring scrambled eggs with white sauce, a toasted bread slice, and a bowl of yellow grits on a rectangular plate.

Delicious and great service! Came in for breakfast before a nearby convention and we were not disappointed. Ordered myself the smoked salmon frittata, which was the perfect serving. My partner and I ordered one of the juices to share, which our server, Rosa, was kind enough to split for us. One of the better restaurants in the Rosemont area, would reccomend for a morning bite.

Smoked salmon eggs benedict with seasoned potatoes - Eggs Benedict topped with hollandaise sauce and garnished with chives, served with seasoned roasted potatoes on a rectangular ceramic plate.

We were set to spend the day in downtown Chicago but first needed some breakfast to fuel the day near the hotel where our friends were staying in the O'hare area. The area around O'hare is pretty dense with chain restaurants. In my experience, though, First Watch is a solid chain for breakfast and our visit here was no exception. They were bustling with diners and we felt sure the wait would be excessive. They turn over tables quickly, however, and our party of four was able to be seated in 10 minutes. I started my dining experience with coffee which was solid. They offer flavored creamer, which is always an unexpected treat! For my breakfast, I got the smoked salmon benedict with seasoned potatoes. The eggs benny was a solid good and the seasoned potatoes were great! The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive throughout our experience.

None of the lunch options appealed to me as they were mostly burgers and sandwiches so I chose to go with a breakfast skillet. I ordered the bacon skillet which came with mushrooms, onions, potatoes and an egg, and was surprised to find brocolli all over my skillet. I don't remember reading in the menu details that broccoli was an ingredient but I still went with it. No point in wasting food. The skillet did no have any bacon in it that I can taste but maybe because the brocolli was overpowering the taste of the bacon. There was a lot of broccoli in that skillet and I must admit that I guess I should have said something before I dove right in. My younger daughter seemed to enjoy her spaghetti though and the portion was large enough that we were able to take half of it home. Older daughter finished her grilled cheese and didn't really hear of any complaints. Hubbys meal, not picture here, was the quesadilla platter. He said it was pretty bland but I could neither deny nor confirm as I did not have a bite of it. Our server was pretty attentive but a little bit of a language barrier there which is probably what caused broccoli to be in my skillet. The whole restaurant is small but there are enough tables and booths available on a Saturday afternoon to seat the locals that come in.

The diner has a classic, retro feel with a checkerboard aesthetic that gives it a traditional diner vibe. It is not very modern or trendy, but it is clean and well-kept, which is really what matters. The space feels simple and comfortable, making it a place someone can visit regularly for a quick, reliable meal. The menu is very straightforward and features typical diner staples. The food was pretty good, but the dishes were very basic with nothing particularly unique about them. It felt like the kind of food you might make at home, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it wasn't especially memorable either. I ordered an egg sandwich with cheese and sausage ($9.95). I also ordered bacon on the side (3 for $4.25). The egg sandwich was okay, but the bagel tasted like those cheap bagels you would get at a hotel during their complimentary breakfast that come from a bag. The sandwich didn't have anything on it other than exactly what they called it on the menu: a bagel, sausage links cut in half, an egg, and cheese. Nothing on the sandwich was seasoned or flavorful. My husband enjoyed his food much more than I did, and he ordered the Big Texas Breakfast ($12.95). This came with country-fried steak with sausage gravy on top, 2 eggs your way, and hash brown potatoes. He also ordered sausage links on the side (3 for $4.25). The service was friendly, and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time, which worked well for us since we were on a bit of a tight schedule. Overall, Lola's Diner delivered a simple diner experience with homemade-style food. I would come here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice for breakfast.
