This is the restaurant in the lobby of the Hyatt Centric hotel. I came here around 6pm on a Saturday and had no wait for a table at all. It wasn't very busy. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I got an iced tea with lemon to drink. It came with three lemon wedges in a plate on the side for me to add at my leisure which was nice. To eat I started with the potato leek soup. It was good - came out nice and hot and was well seasoned. Just the right start on a cold December night. For my entree I had their burger which came with cheese, carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and an aioli. All this made for a juicy messy burger! It was cooked properly as well and overall very good! You can have a salad or fries with your burger and I went with the salad and their house red wine vinaigrette dressing. All in all a pleasant meal with friendly attentive staff!!

We want to give a shout out to our server, Michael. He did a fantastic job, was very personable, kind and helpful. We would come back to the restaurant just to support and see him again. Cima is a newer restaurant that's been around for about four months. You can tell the chef has fine dining culinary experience. We tried to sample across the menu as much as we could with what our stomachs would allow. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the decor. It also has a beautiful outdoor space as well. The food is a flavor adventure for sure! Lots of different profiles. I give the chef a lot of credit. He's willing to try new pairings that you don't see in typical restaurants. I really like that they try to use local ingredients and have a rotating menu. Highly recommend the baked feta to share. The honey is a nice touch! The four-star mushroom ragout was something you don't normally see anywhere and totally worth the order. My wife had the pan seared branzino. It was crispy and delicious. The fish was uniquely paired with thin apple on top. I respect trying things outside of the norm and look forward to seeing all the different creations this culinary team has to offer. We will definitely dine here again. Thank you for a great dinner and evening!

CIMA is by far one of the better hotel restaurants I've eaten at. Usually hotel restaurants are easy to pass up but CIMA knows what they're doing! After Hyatt Centric revamped their whole brand, they took CIMA along with them -- I would describe their brand as modern and approachable. We've dined here twice and both times got their Lamb and Classic Burger, it was that good! I also got their Old Fashioned which was very well balanced. The have a full bar stocked with high quality spirits. My lamb burger was delicious, so flavorful and the meat to bun ratio was perfect. Fries were nicely cooked and seasoned but I will say that I wish it came with more fries if I had to be particular. Service is friendly and the vibe in here is laid back. If you are in the area for a long layover in O'Hare, CIMA is definitely worth checking out!

Stunning! They just redid the whole hotel but brought a new chef in from Chicago. All the food was so fresh and so good! The old fashion was delicious, very traditional and solid with a great wine list. The restaurant and foyer was absolutely stunning, they did such a good job! I love the location too, will definitely be a huge hit with being right next to the airport.

The staff and ambiance were lovely; for my main course I tried the steak sandwich which was really good. It came with fries, and instead of ordering an appetizer I ate the house chips (which are brought to the table for free.) My daughter went with the burger, and that was excellent. Huge portion and cooked to perfection. No one else at the table good anything special, which meant the bill was reasonable (about $40 a person.) For a good 40 minutes in the bar, it was an absolute sausage fest. The only other females were those working, so it was a little uncomfortable. This is a manly place in general. A loud obnoxious table of meatheads was behind us at dinner but the steak was truly the best I've ever had so one must endure. I had the filet with peppercorn and our shared sides and apps sampled were crab cakes, mashed potatoes, double baked potatoes, and brussel sprouts. All stellar. We all split the famous macadamia nut turtle pie which easily served 8 people. Amazing meal but would be nice to throw a little estrogen in with the testosterone overload. Service was unparalleled as well. Thank you for a memorable evening.

For those who don't know, Small Cheval is the fast casual version of Au Cheval which I've had the opportunity to try in NYC. There's plenty of locations throughout Chicago so definitely make it a stop when you're in town. Now is it as good as Au Cheval? Definitely not but at one-third of the price point, it's hard to complain. The beef patties are well-seasoned with crispy edges and just the right amount of fattiness. My main complaint is that there wasn't nearly enough dijonnaise sauce or pickles, making this pretty dry. The bun was nicely buttered and toasted but almost took away from the contents inside the burger. The Famous Fried Chicken Tenders were also a good try. I could tell the chicken was clean & high quality but there was some flavor I couldn't quite place which made it a bit off-putting; thankfully it wasn't super noticeable especially with the sauces. The Golden Fries were delicious and paired well with the burger & tenders! Even the Cookies & Cream Milkshake was solid! Classic milkshake with a good balance of creaminess, sweetness, and texture from the cookie bits. The interior was also bright, spacious, and comfortable! All in all, really solid try!

It's like going to a burger place with a bar inside. I would also have to add with a side of a malt shop thrown in. The lady who took our order was very friendly. Both her and the guy making the shakes seemed competent and efficient. They were both just over worked. There was a rush when we came in so it put them behind. Everything was in good repair. There was no damage to the seats and tables and for the most part they were clean. The things that didn't work for me were the possible understaffing, and the lack of a good onion. I asked for raw onion on my burger. I inspected my burger for it and couldn't find it. So I asked for some more. She was very helpful and handed me a tiny container of minced onions. Apparently that's all they have. I do like a good slice of onion on my burger. If you're looking for a good quick bite to eat or a very tasty shake, this is a great choice! I would come back if the mood struck.

We talked long with the bartender and a young man that worked there. Order a few drinks and talked with these two guys for fifteen minutes or so off and on before we even ordered anything. Hard to say which was out favorite because they were all equally as delicious and bursting with flavor from the fresh ingredients. I also got to try their seasonal blood orange margarita, which was also delicious! We had the flautas appetizer and for my entree, I ordered the chorizo taco and the pork belly taco. I didn't even make it to the pork belly taco because I was full off the flauta and chorizo taco lol. The hot sauces that they bring to your table in the squirt bottles were bomb dot com!! Spicy enough for some "flava" but not burn your bottle hole spicy. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for the vibes (I requested they play Bad Bunny and they obliged- zero questions asked and no pushback) and the food! If you're ever having group get together or small party, this place would be great! They also have brunch on the weekends which I will bring some moms back for, for some "Momosa" Dates! My waitress was very attentive to my dairy allergy...& in Illinois, the laws aren't as strict as in Massachusetts. I selected the salad with farro and chicken and the dressing was delicious. Very generous portions! The chicken was juicy and flavorful: well-seasoned with a Mediterranean blend that wasn't overpowering. The mixed green lettuce itself was notable. I loathe limp lettuce...so much so that I often switch to butter lettuce or romaine for the crunch. These were among the best mixed green leaves I've had-very fresh. The farro was the perfect texture, without being overly salty (as it often is elsewhere.) I was glad to have ordered the "flight" of red wines-all 3 of which I enjoyed. Note: we were able to order chicken fingers to go-which weren't on the menu, but which my very picky son loved.
