Management addressed my complaint and fixed the issue. I've placed orders on three different occasions since then and noticed they now have another person verifying each order and checking it off. Located near O'Hare, this location is bright, spacious, modern and comfortable. They have traditional breakfast and lunch items but some come with a twist, like the Eggs Benedict served on 1/2 of a ciabatta roll instead of an English muffin. I had the classic version, which was very good by the way. The hollandaise was quite lemony. Yum. I love that they offer mixed green salad as a side offering. I tried the million dollar potatoes and they were oniony and delicious. Generous serving with enough to take home. My husband enjoyed The Works omelette and thought the sour cream dollop made it special. Service was friendly and attentive. We came here with a larger group (9 people) and joined the waitlist. It was a busy Sunday late morning. We were told 20-30 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 45. We knew to expect that, though. Despite it being so busy and hectic, our server was always around when we needed her and our food came out pretty quick. I ordered a BLT Benedict and it was really good! I highly recommend it. I also got the Million Dollar Bloody mary. It came with a bottle for refilling and a piece of their Million Dollar bacon. It was delicious. The waffles seem to be pre-made and sitting under a hot lamp for a long time. Not only that. This is the only place that I can buy a waffle. And I need to cut it with a steak knife. You cannot cut a waffle made here with a regular knife or a fork for that matter.. You will need a steak knife. Because these things are Eggo frozen waffles..Try it..Try cutting a waffle from this place.. The fancy juice drinks are all ice..3/4 ounces of juice . And a glass filled to the very top with ice . If you tell them that you don't want any ice they give you a glass of third of the size.. I tried lunch once..I got a frozen turkey sandwich..Literally the turkey was frozen..Not cold..A block of ice..I left it and asked to take it off the bill... Good coffee..So-so service..Since this place opened about a year and a half ago..It seems all of the employees have quit over and over..Just always new people.. To make matters worse, my food wasn't ready on time. My sandwich was cold and unappetizing, and my soup was only half full and also cold. My breakfast was also lukewarm. This is the second time I've had a similar disappointing experience at this location. Unfortunately, since this seems to be a recurring issue. How can you serve cold food first thing in the morning? This is my first visit to first watch and I came with my wife. We got in at a great time within five minutes of arriving the place got really busy. It's a chain. There are number them in Illinois is super fresh, baked fresh made fresh cooked fresh. Would you let Millia farm table type of restaurant. They had outside seating. We arrived about 930 and we did notice that the other side of the parking lot was completely empty when we left at 10 AM. The other side of the parking lot was completely full. My wife opted for the biscuits and gravy, and these were prepared with a homemade biscuit huge, sliced in half with turkey sausage gravy, which was amazing. It also came with seasoned potatoes, thank cubes of potatoes, cooked to perfection and seasoned although a little bit heavy on the salt. It also came with the side of eggs of your choice she chose scrambled the presentation was very nice with a sprinkle of chives on top fresh chives. I opted for omelette and mine came with chorizo slices of avocado, two types of cheese and some pico de gallo. It also came with two slices of toast and a side of their homemade jam. What I really liked about the plate is it came with some mixed greens with a lemon vinaigrette those were delicious and a perfect complement to the breakfast breakfast. Bougie and it was delicious. I am very hard to please when it comes to coffee and that coffee was great. They gave you a lot of choices of the flavored creamers at the table, but I'm a half-and-half guy and I asked for half-and-half in the politely got some from the back in the kitchen , I could not be more pleased. The coffee was delicious. I had 2 cups of it. They did half-and-half that doesn't agree with me due to medical reasons so I for fresh all the time and they we're happy to accommodate. All the waitresses I saw were very professional and made it a great experience. Their level of teamwork was above and beyond, and they were very fast and my wife loved the decorations and the decor in the restaurant. The seats were comfortable. It was not too loud overall, it was a great experience and we will be back , when we pick our son up from the airport. I'm not sure if other locations are anywhere close to this you will find yourself an excellent breakfast spot. For the quality of the quality of the restaurant and the prices were extremely fair. I had no problems paying menu prices for these items. I thought I had a really great value for the money and considering the level of service and the level of cleanliness and the food quality I give this five stars. I don't normally give five stars, but they deserved it today most definitely. It is surrounded by various hotels, near O'Hare International Airport & Rivers Casino in Rosemont. Official Opening Day is March 25th. First week of opening has free coffee. Kevin, General Manager, was a pleasure to speak with. While some construction is still going on, the blueprint of this First Watch is going to be amazing. I haven't been to a First Watch in so long, so my coworkers and I decided to head there for lunch. You can go onto their website to make reservations or join a waitlist at the time you plan to arrive. That way you do not have to wait for a table when you get to the restaurant. I highly suggest you do that as they do tend to get busy around lunch time during the week. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was great! She went over the menu with us after one of our coworkers pointed out that it was their first time at First Watch. She was also constantly checking in on us even though the place was pretty busy. The last time I went to First Watch (in Orlando, FL), the decor was giving a slightly upscale IHOP, but it seems that they've redecorated, and it honestly looks much more upscale and inviting. The food was delicious! I remember the portions being slightly larger, but I guess even restaurants are no longer immune to shrink-flation. I love that they have a "healthier side" option on their menu. It was even showing calories and macros. You can also find all this information on their website. I had the Power Wrap and it was light, filling and delicious! The turkey was smoked to perfection and the sauce truly tied the whole thing together. I highly recommend you try that if you're on a health journey this year. It comes with a side of fruit, but you can always substitute for other options like a side salad. This was their soft opening, so everyone was essentially training. Not all options were available (mainly cocktails, the cinnamon milk cereal with rum in my absolute fave!). The space is beautiful, they are still completing the last finishing touches. The wait staff while training was still very kind and attentive.
