We visited this location on a trip to Chicago. It is close to O'Hare and Rosemont where we stayed. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was delicious! As a first time guest, I did find the menu to be challenging to navigate. I ended up ordering a pre-selected entree due to this but I was pleased with my choice. I was disappointed to see the tea machine down (all flavors). My suggestion is that the employees be more friendly and helpful.
Located near several hotels just minutes from O'Hare, Bibibop is convenient, fast, and casual. It's a "build-your-own bowl" type of place. You start at one end of the line and move down the checklist-style menu, choosing your base, protein, toppings, and sauces. I went with the Korean BBQ, which was flavorful and well-seasoned. I also highly recommend their yum yum sauce for a creamy texture that mixes well with the bowl. If you really like it, they also sell bottled versions. They also offer a few lemonade options; I tried the passion fruit lemonade and it was refreshing without being overly sweet. Price-wise, it's slightly higher than I expected: about $17 for a bowl with no premium add-ons and a small drink. But the upside is you're getting a relatively healthy, customizable meal that doesn't leave you feeling weighed down. Overall, a solid choice near the airport if you want something quick, fresh, and moderately healthy. Especially if you're not starving but want better-than-fast-food quality.
(2/5) | How Did We Get Here?... to not-so-fresh fast food (Rosemont, IL - 15 mins from ORD) I pulled up to BIBIBOP Asian Grill looking for something quick, clean, and energizing--especially this close to the airport where a solid, reliable meal matters. And visually? They deliver. The space is bright, modern, and gives fresh lifestyle energy. You walk in thinking you're about to make a smart, feel-good food choice. But here's where things shifted... I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and unfortunately, the food reflected that timing. My bowl--while generously portioned--lacked that just-made freshness you expect from a concept like this. The steak tasted like it had been sitting for a while, the vegetables were more soft than crisp, and the overall bowl didn't have that hot, vibrant, made-to-order feel. It felt more like end-of-day service than a fresh build experience. The energy at the counter also felt a bit checked out--like the night was already winding down. To be fair: * The concept is strong * The customization is appealing * The branding is on point But when your entire identity is built around "eat well, be well," freshness isn't optional--it's the standard. Would I return? Probably not. Not when the core promise didn't deliver. Final Take: If you're curious, go earlier in the day. This feels like a place where timing could completely change the experience. How did we get here? To a wellness-driven brand... that missed the mark on freshness when it mattered most.
Chipotle but Korean flavors. When you enter they take your order at the front and you pay. It's a very laid back spot. I can see us stopping by for a quick lunch or dinner that's not drive thru or pizza. Glad to have this option in the neighborhood.
Found this place across the street from my hotel when I was in Chicago. The food is fresh and very flavorful. It was a generous portion of goodness, you can also get free miso soup.. Our counter server was very knowledgeable about every ingredient. Very casual setup. Wish we had one in San Antonio...
I always love this place and today the staff person Duznay G was so so amazing. She was so sweet and attentive and have an excellent memory. She was also able to multitask very well. I really appreciated her. The food portions were excellent and we really enjoyed the process of food and healthy options that we always have. This is still my favorite location. The manager does a great job here!
A breath of refresh air to taste something different that quick and tasty. The people in the place we visited were vey nice people. Great to bring friends for a quick bite. Watch out it get servings since they could charge. It would be best for them to suggest if it did cost extra. It did add $10 more to the bill. Nice refreshing drinks for $3 per person. Nice variety. I would definitely visit this place again.
Well since I was supposed to be airport I was trying to look for a restaurant probably not too far during my lunch break but didn't want your sister called portillo's in McDonald's nearby and I certainly didn't want Middle Eastern would like Pita inn or naf and. This kind of is like a fast food Chipotle version of Korean food is how I look at that but at a healthier choices of your ingredients. This was my first time and service was actually pretty quick but then again I went around lunch time with a lot of people and the person who I addressed was the first time this informative not necessarily friendly. Ambience was pretty busy. I like to think of you complimentary miso soup but they don't give you a spoon or do I get a slurp off the paper bowl. I chose to glaze salmon to stay healthy. Originally I was going to get purple rice but then I saw Korean noodles or chopsue. Food was it was delicious they give you a choice of other condiments I went for kale broccoli carrots avocado and they added pineapple which I didn't like because I don't like adding sweet things to my savory dishes. They did have kimchi which I added to my bibbop bowl. It's not really traditional and like I said it's like a Korean version of Chipotle. Food was just a meh good nothing that gives a while ambience again is very trendy inside wooden furniture and stuff and that orange colored background. It wasn't bad but I'll probably go back to try the purple rice instead of your traditional white rice. Had added a snickerdoodle cookie since I haven't had one for a while. Didn't think Koreans would eat snickerdoodle cookie
Well, I've been here twice since their grand opening so I guess that gives you some idea of my thoughts. I came on the grand opening day around 6-6:30 and though the parking lot was totally full (people were parking in the lot across the drive), but the line moved really fast--I was only there for maybe 10 minutes total. I think I've been to Bibibop once since I work directly across the street from the Loop location, but it may have just been the once. It's pretty good, I think. It's fast casual in style where you create your meal along an assembly line. They have a few chef's special bowls or pre-determined recipes, but you can also create something from scratch. I was surprised to find that I really like the Korean beef that they have--it's delicious, though there are a few times where I've had a kind of fatty piece that I didn't eat. The lemonade is pretty good too. I have had the passionfruit lemonade and they had a different flavor when I was there once that I'd like to try. Near the lemonade they had free miso soup for folks to take a cup if they like. Parking is ample, and they have a ton of disabled spots as well. There are a couple mobile app-dedicated spots and I'm definitely going to have to get the app if there are deals there! I'm glad there's a Bibibop in close proximity to my home because it'll make for an easy dinner option now and again.
Annoying Experience and too far to go out for the Chipotle of Korean Food. It was such a waste of time waiting in line with limited parking and the heat for basically nothing. I didn't bother going in, so I'm not sure what the ambiance is like. Hopefully, it would be new since this was a grand opening
Loved it ! Really enjoyed the Japchae style noodles and the tofu the most! My fiancé got the salmon which was also very good. Service was a little slow but it was only one worker and the place was very busy so I understand. The free miso soup was a really nice touch!
This was our first time here. Just because you CAN get everything, doesn't mean you SHOULD. Choose your base, hot toppings, cold toppings, protein, and sauce. My glass noodles were tasty with the chicken and tofu, but the pickled onions and shredded cheese clashed with the Korean flavors. The broccoli and potatoes didn't match, but were tolerable. We weren't fans of the breaded chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce. Now that we know the menu, we know what to avoid. Would try again. Our order was ready when promised on the app. A few dine in customers, but mostly carry out orders. Seemed clean inside.
I was excited to try this place and it did not disappoint as far as the food. It's pretty new to the area, so I would have expected more of an explanation by the servers, but they were both teenagers- at least they have labels at the stations listing the options but would have been nice to have more details. Love the concept - same as Chipotle and Naf Naf with the "create your own" on the line. I did the Korean BBQ beef with half purple rice and half super greens bas with hot broccoli and sprouts and cold carrots with the ginger sesame sauce. My BF had white rice with steak and broccoli with carrots, cucumber and red cabbage also with the ginger sesame sauce. I had a yum yum sauce side. Everything was really fresh and delicious but the Korean beef was a little too salty and the Yum Yum sauce was not worth the calories. I'll definitely be back - the food overall was delicious and you can make a very healthy meal here if you choose right.

Very good food and service! 100% Gluten-Free: It was a great surprise to find that everything is gluten-free. Excellent Food: The Korean beef bowl was fantastic, along with the cookies and lemonade. Great Portions: Generous serving sizes--my bowl was enough for two meals! I will definitely dine here again if I'm in the area read more
I love how bright and clean this place is! There's plenty of seating, so it's a nice spot for a quick and casual meal. As for the food, think Chipotle but with Korean-inspired flavors. You get to build your own bowl with your choice of two types of rice or noodles, plenty of toppings(beans sprouts, corn, carrots, cucumber, egg and plenty other options), sauces and protein. And a little bonus: every meal comes with free miso soup! The only miss was the miso soup. It didn't really have that classic miso flavor I was expecting, so I'd probably skip it next time. read more

I've seen BIBIBOP Asian Grill multiple times, so I finally decided to order some at work. I got the spicy fried chicken bowl with potatoes, lettuce, kimchi, bean sprouts, carrots, egg, purple rice, and sweet potato noodles. I love how you can customize your bowl and choose from a variety of sauces. I got the gochujang sauce, but it was a little too strong for my liking; I was also not a huge fan of the fried chicken since it tasted very chewy vs crispy and did not taste like real chicken to me. The veggies and sweet potato noodles were very yummy and fresh though. The ingredients pair very well together, so I might need just need to pick a different protein next time. I will say that the bowl was packed and very filling though, so I did enjoy how I got a nice quick meal that was customizable. I was not able to see the ambiance of the restaurant since we ordered delivery, but I'll definitely check out the restaurant again in-person when I get a chance. It's basically a build your own bowl but with a Korean food twist! read more

The BEEF was ICE COLD I complained to management and they all just looked at me and said we need to fix the grill as I'm eating my ICE COLD Korean beef .The whole experience was like something from the Twilight Zone .Then a worker came by and asked how was the good I said ICE COLD BEEF again he out his head down and looked at the Asian guy who was manager and they acted like I was speaking another language.COLD BEEF never again . read more
First time trying this with a couple friends and I loved it! It's kinda like an Asian chipotle but very fresh. Super cute and clean dining area. The portions are very generous. We had to take half of it home. I tried the spicy chicken so good! I should have gone with a small bowl because the regular size is huge! The main server that answered our questions was super nice and helpful. Looking forward to go back again! read more

Thought I'd give this place a try and was very disappointed. Maybe it was the combinations I selected - however Korean fried chicken was inedible, cold, dry and tasteless. Really awful plus I almost cracked a tooth on a foreign object.(See pic below) Also expensive for what you get- was charged extra for avacado upcharge not listed on the menu.. Probably won't return read more

Great clean food with tons of flavor; this reminds me of a Cava Restaurant but in the Korean Bibimbap style. Simple family-style seating (aka long tables) with upbeat music and warm & friendly service! Erika, who cashed me out, also had positive high energy as she works at multiple stations throughout, along with the rest of the team. Great service and excellent food! read more
