However, they were supposed to leave a lip stick out so I could put back a plastic shield to cover the lights. When the lip was omitted, I called to have it fixed. Still waiting. I have used this company for two different projects now. Previously, I have used Ashland Glass for a lot of work done in my home- but the difference between the two companies is PRODUCT. If you like a cheap product on a budget, this place isn't for you. What Creative Mirror uses is QUALITY. That being said, my Condo is my home and there is no place for garbage here. I want something that will last, so I'm not fixing it tomorrow. Creative's product is bar none, the best I've had. I just had new Raumplus mirroed closet doors installed (German Engineered) and they are the highest quality (DEAD SILENT) doors I've ever used. Not cheap, but again- you get what you pay for. You would be very wise with this company- or any other for that matter, to THOUROUGLY explain your project needs and wants. I've seen many reviews where "projects gone wrong" and I think it's important that all your expectations be discussed up front. If you hand someone the check and say "this is what I want"- in such a precarious manner, don't be suprised when it's done incorrectly, that applies to ANY contractor. My entire home has been remodled from top to bottom so I know what I'm talking about. That way if it's screwed up later you have ground to walk on. My project was no easy task and the outcome was 100% perfect. The roadblocks and things to expect were dicussed up front with me- a very motivating factor in me moving forward with my decision (no suprises). Best of all, the timeline was perfect. I was actually suprised how quickly they got everything done. Bottom line, the work they did was fantastic and I would return again for any future projects. I want to finally add, that the owner isn't some lazy butt that doesn't get involved when needed, in his customer's projects. Found these guys and a few other custom glass places on Yelp and emailed them all a month ago (a week before Thanksgiving) through Yelp for quotes on a custom glass top for our wooden dining table. These guys were uber responsive and gave us one of the two best quotes - so we went with them a day later. Although they said it'd take a week or so (meaning it wouldn't be ready for Thanksgiving), to our surprise, the top was ready in 3 days. I'm very disappointed with the service received. When we got the quote for the project an early evening appointment (6pm) was possible. After signing the contract, someone had to come to take measurements. Unfortunately, they only work until 2pm. Nobody bother to inform us, logically we assumed late appointments are available. When the product was ready, we got a 4 hour window for the installation, from 8am-12pm. The installer came at 12:40pm. Nobody from the company called to inform. I remember before signing the contract I received lots of emails from the company promising outstanding services , but as soon as they secured the contract, no one cared. After in installer showed up, he couldn't install the glass because the measurements were incorrect. In top of this, customer service (scheduling) very impolite, no work etiquette. read more

I dealt with Matt and he was awesome. I brought in two drawers from a mirrored chest that were cracked. The mirrors were inside a wood criss-cross casing and siliconed in the wood drawer front. Matt knew it was very important to me to be able to repair them. They enlisted the help of a woodworker to get the mirror out without damaging the frame and were able to repair something we initially thought could not be repaired. It looks like new and I appreciate that Matt went the extra mile to work with another specialist to get it a difficult job fixed! Would recommend to others without a doubt! Thank you Matt! read more

Three years after Creative installed three shower doors and several mirrors, I had a problem with a hinge. On the scheduled day for replacing them, my daughter visited with her baby and put him in the crib for a nap in the room next to the bathroom that needed new hinges. Shortly, Dave and Josh arrived to do the work. Not only did they whisper, they somehow managed to keep the electric drill noise to a minimum. The hinges were installed and the baby slept on. I purchased 4 sliding glass doors from the Clybourn location. Matt our salesman was very helpful and showed us several options to choose from. We looked at several other stores that sold a similar product, but were impressed by the quality from Creative Mirror and Shower. We did have a slight hiccup during the install, however Mark was able to take care of it. We are very satisfied with the quality of the doors. Words cannot describe how elated and delighted I am to have chosen Creative Mirror to install frosted sliding doors for my hallway closet. I had been exploring multiple options for sliding doors for the opening which was extra tall (102") and standard width. Everything from Home Depot, Menards, or Lowes required me to frame the height with drywall as the tallest options were 96" - and moreover, their doors seemed cheap and easily breakable. I tried Ikea and Sliding Door Company but nothing impressed me. I called Creative Mirror and was very impressed with their sales approach. They were meticulous and detailed and even more impressive, Mark - Owner and President of Creative Mirror - personally communicated with me over many, many emails to make sure I understood and appreciated the authenticity, high quality, and craftsmanship of their products, and was comfortable with their quote. Beware of other cheaper quotes for sliding doors - as Creative Mirror is the sole distributor of the German Raumplus sliding doors. Mark encouraged me to visit their state-of-the-art showroom on Clyborn Ave in Chicago and I am so glad I did. These sliding doors are NOTHING like you have ever seen or experienced -- they move effortlessly with only a pinky push, and the doors are extra heavy duty and just scream German engineering. After I agreed to hire Creative Mirror, Mark immediately arranged for his Operations Director Tim to visit and take all the exact measurements and gauge all the imperfections in my walls etc. Tim is a most qualified installation manager - as he has been trained in Bremen, Germany with the Raumplus product and can be best described as nothing short of a perfectionist. My installation was scheduled for a tight window between my travels - Creative Mirror's accommodation and flexibility was most appreciated -- I don't think other companies would have worked with me as willingly. Installation day was such a wonder - the workers came, set blankets everywhere, and repeated with exact measurements, and then very carefully cut into the floors and baseboards to install the low-profile tracking. They cut all the product outside in the front of the building so as not to bring any dust into the building. The extra tall 102" sliding doors were installed ever so delicately and then the team spent almost an hour testing the system, the rail, the opening & closing, and cleaning with professional window product from top to bottom, left to right, and inside to outside. The result is THE most beautiful looking doors that is a show stopper to ANYONE who has visited my condo in the past month. Every visitor is amazed at the magnitude of the doors, the precision of the work, the effortless gliding, the polished and modern look, and the indestructible quality and durability. To say that I am satisfied is an understatement -- Mark and his team have gone above and beyond to make sure that I was a satisfied customer and I will surely be advocating their installations for years to come, as well as even using their services for other products such as glass shower doors and bedroom doors, etc. Do NOT settle for cheaper doors sold by the Big Box stores, or for other installation companies that take weeks to order & install (because they order their products from China). Had a great experience working with Creative Mirror for our custom shower doors. They were the obvious choice after shopping out at least 4 other places. They delivered quality product and did things the right way without cutting corners or overcharging us like many of the others tried to do. We did the extra tall 1/2 inch glass for our custom shower after having our bathroom gutted and remodeled and they look beautiful! He immediately took a special interest and communicated with me daily. Mr. Pritikin went so far as to have his installation manager Tim come to my home on a Sunday of the Memorial Day weekend to make sure the installation would be perfect. It was and I am pleased! I am extremely upset with this company. I ordered glass railings for my stairs and I paid 50% of the total project costs which is almost ten thousand dollars and I can not even get these people on the phone to tell me the status of my project. They promised a one to two week install time due to ordering parts but its been 4 months since I sent them my first payment and I am being told there is a metal shortage...I ordered glass railings...not metal and I understand there are metal pieces but come on...really a metal shortage? I am a metal fabricator by trade and i know this is a blatant lie. I really want to think bill is a stand up guy there but customer service keeps telling me they can not talk about my project because bill has all my files and he tells me he will talk to me in a week because there is a metal shortage...i have heard this about 6 times now with him never calling me in a week. this rant is not written well...sorry. read more
