I had a wonderful experience from design through installation! I worked with Brad on the design, and he was incredibly patient as I went through several iterations. Since the closet was still under construction, there were changes along the way, and Brad was always flexible, accommodating, and helpful throughout the process. Scheduling the installation was also very easy, and they worked around my availability. The installation crew was fantastic--professional, efficient, and respectful of my home. They did a beautiful job and made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned up before they left. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the entire experience and would highly recommend them! read more

Edit to add to the owner's response: The owner is a blatant liar. Also, near blind as he doesn't seem to recognize the difference. To correct his lie, they never offered the free replacement. I initially held the remaining payment expecting them to address the issue, but they threatened me with things like filing a lien. So I paid the remainder. I even paid extra to replace the incorrectly installed drawers, which were flat drawers. The second time, they were installed incorrectly again, differently designed shakers. The result is what the photos here show. Extremely irresponsible. BTW, you are the one who did incompetent job and you want to move on without fixing it? What a joke. --- This was our 2nd time working with them. The first time, back in 2020, went very smooth, so we decided to work with them again for our new home. This time it was night and day. It couldn't have been worse. We chose shaker everywhere, but noticed the design draft showed the top drawers flat. The designer told us it was a glitch in their new software, but they went ahead and installed the flat ones anyway. I asked to have it changed and held payment until they fixed it. Instead, they blamed me for an outcome I supposedly approved, and insisted I pay extra to make them shakers. So I did. Then the final result came out like the photo. There's an obvious discrepancy in the width of the cove area (the sloped section between the outer and inner profiles). The designer couldn't even see the problem. The owner never responded at all. I even filed a complaint with the BBB, and they never addressed it. So the BBB closed the case. It's painful to see them treat me like this when I liked them so much 5 years ago. Avoid these crooks if you can. read more

Brad helped us create closet designs for some small, unique spaces in our old home. We asked for some changes to be made after he sent the first proposal, and he was able to come up with another design that met our needs. We felt that the crew could have done a slightly better job at cleaning up the surrounding floor area after installation, but overall we are happy with how everything turned out and how the closets maximize our space. read more

I got a couple of quotes on a very small project: a closet /pantry that we have never even painted in the 38 years we've lived here! Brad was our designer and he was terrific, but the total for just doing that one pantry was way less than their $1,500 minimum. And I realized that we do have another even smaller little pantry by the back door! They still didn't quite add up to $1,500, but he got approval to to put the job through. The installer came exactly on time. He was neat and thorough and we're very happy with the results of the Bradley designed spaces. That was a couple of weeks ago: the other day we discovered that a screw used to hold the bottom of the unit to the back wall had penetrated into the laundry chute that we have going from the second floor to the basement. Basement. And we had one and then another piece of clothing get hooked on it. I sent a text to Brad about it today. 30 minutes later I got a call from Jeremy, who asked if I was available for a repair! He said he could be here in 15 minutes! And he did come. He was marvelous, removed that screw, patched up a little bit of extruded sheet metal it had caused inside the laundry chute, and we are perfect! I can't tell you how impressed we were with this kind of warranty service. Needless to say, it's pretty unusual. read more

I renovated a small condo in Wicker Park and needed help building out 2 closets and a laundry room to maximize the closet and storage space. I worked with Brad directly on the design and he was super helpful generating ideas and sending me a few revisions. He was timely and helpful at the measuring appointment, the lead times were great, and then the install team did a really great job. Overall, a great experience and the pricing was very reasonable for the work that they did. Highly recommend Chicagoland Custom Closets and Brad! read more

After recently moving into a new home, I need one of the closets configured for storage for an office.  Brad from Chicagoland Custom Closets came out, provided options, and offered a terrific solution.  I also had a custom closet that needed to be repaired, which was from another company that was out of business.  Brad also came up with solutions to fix that closet.   Angel, the installer, was efficient and did a terrific job!  The closets turned out great!  Everything was spotless when he was done!  Terrific experience all around. read more

I definitely recommend Chicagoland Custom Closets! Brad came out and measured a space in a hallway where we wanted to replace a shelving system with something more functional. He was down to earth, easy to work with, and came up with a great solution. The installers were extremely kind, respectful, and efficient. Brad was super helpful figuring out how to maximize my small shaped closets. He was patient with me as I went back and forth a few times on the design until it was just right! Hugo did the install- it was speedy, quick, clean, tidy, and matched exactly to what brad designed. Sooo happy! read more

We originally had Brad come spec out options for our unconventionally shaped and sized closets in our home. He was super helpful and thorough, and the quote was very fair. We ended up not pursuing that project, but later had him quote a "kitchen library" project: basically a coffee bar, shelving unit, banquette structure that covers the full wall of our eat-in kitchen. He made countless revisions for me, collaborated and took direction easily. The 3D renders provided were really helpful in getting a sense of the space, and he was always available to come in-person if/when needed, prior to the install. The installation took the full day and the crew was courteous and did great work. Shout out to Hugo, Christian and Juan for their expertise. read more

We wanted to turn a functionless basement closet into storage for our hobby items. The task was fairly simple, but even then designers usually want to charge an arm and a leg. Brad came out, and we got an estimate for far below what we expected. Work was completed very quickly and cleanly. We'll probably have them out to look at some of our other closets. Dan did a wonderful job with the installation. Finished in under two hours. read more

What a way to kick off the new year--by finally getting my closet organized! Brad from Chicago Custom Closets came out in November to measure and chat about my ideas. He actually listened, and was the first person not to give me that "you want a wardrobe in your closet?" look. This was the third company I had out to look at my space, and Chicago Custom Closets had the best prices--like, way better than the others. Brad worked his magic and made my closet dreams come true. Seriously, I didn't know I could be this excited about shelving. Huge thanks for turning my closet chaos into a masterpiece! I'll definitely be calling you again for any future closet drama. From start to finish, working with Chicagoland Custom Closets was a breeze. Lina helped bring our design to life and Hugo/Juan installed it so quickly I couldn't even believe it. We requested a quote and within a week, had Lina out to see the space and in one day she had a design for us to review. After a few modifications we were ready to move forward. Lina was able to book us for installation within a week which was amazing. Hugo and Juan were so professional, kind, thorough and quick.... not to mention they didn't seem bothered at all that our dogs were barking at them on more than one occasion. My only regret is not doing this sooner. read more

We have used Chicagoland Custom Closets multiple times over the past 20 years. This latest project was an interesting one. She also helped us pick out a good contrast color to liven up the bathroom. Dan did an amazing job with the installation, and left our house cleaner than before he came. My experience with CCC was terrific from start to finish. I needed only a small installation in a utility closet. Extra space resulted from switching from a side-by-side washer/dryer to a stacked laundry tower. I considered getting some Elfa wire shelves, but I was daunted by the electrical boxes and conduit and laundry hoses, etc. Once I found CCC, I reached out via the online form and Brad contacted me right away to schedule a visit. Within a week he sent a quote with extensive design illustrations and we were good to go! Brad was open to modifications, but none were needed. Christian handled the installation, which was done quickly, cleanly, and professionally. I am totally in love with the result and I am SO glad I didn't go with wire shelves. My closet looks amazing. They provided cutouts for the conduit and laundry hoses which resulted in more storage than I thought possible. And the other shelves are adjustable! Fantastic company and excellent service, at a very reasonable cost. I wouldn't use anyone else. read more

Chicagoland Custom Closets (CCC) was referred to me by a different closet installer who worked on two previous closet system jobs for me in the last 14 years. This closet guy no longer works in the closet industry but recommended CCC. I figured his recommendation had to be a good one but I did get a second quote from a different closet company just to compare prices. The other closet quote was way more costly and the estimate took 2.5 hours, mainly because they had their laptop with them and mocked up the closet schematic while in my home. That was unexpected and it was a little inconvenient since I had two young kids who weren't feeling well at the time and I worked from home. Working with Brad from CCC was a great experience from the beginning of the process to the very end, post-installation. Brad's consultation of all 4 bedroom closets was quick but thorough. Brad put together a proposal and helpful diagrams of the closets within a few days. The proposal price was fair and competitive pricing. I was grateful that Brad did not nickel and dime me for every minor change. For example, the original proposal had chrome hardware handles and I preferred black handles. The change in hardware did not come with an increase in price which I thought would likely happen since black hardware is VERY popular right now. Brad was very receptive to the changes I had suggested to the proposal, like adding drawers and removing a section for long hanging clothes. He even understood my dilemma with a deep part of the closet that I literally had to climb onto a step and hoist myself into to access the space. He made an excellent suggestion of putting shelves there so that my boxes of things could stay organized. All four closets look great and I am so happy that every inch of my closet is usable space. the closets are now utilized optimally to store clothes or things. The quality of the shelving is sturdy, looks good, and feels nice to the touch. The drawers don't slam and the hardware is quality. The installation was also way quicker than I expected. The other closet company said their install would take 3 days. CCC had two closet installers come in (on time) and spent no longer than 4 hours and they were considerate about keeping tidy before/during/after installation. I highly recommend CCC and Brad's expertise! I would use them again if the need arose! It feels good to have more functional space in already awkward and small closets. The investment in closets systems are worth it! read more

We contacted CCC to come out and provide an estimate on a built in floor to ceiling wardrobe in our master bedroom in an old 2 flat. Brad was an absolute pleasure to work with- he listened well, was always quick to respond, was patient & understanding and never made us feel pressured.
