I'm so happy that I found Planet Cabinets. I have a small kitchen and I was so ready to update it given how much time we've been stuck at home because of the pandemic. I tried working with other cabinet suppliers including Home Depot, but the service was terrible. Ofer at Planet Cabinets was incredible from the first email to set up an appointment! We met and he walked me through his showroom, gave me several options, and followed up with a detailed quote in my price range. We talked to confirm measurements, etc. and he always followed up quickly. He was present when the cabinets were delivered and quickly replaced a damaged cabinet. Thanks to him I have my new beautiful, functional kitchen!!! read more

We worked with Planet Cabinets as part of a full kitchen and powder room renovation and had a really positive experience. Ofer was patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy -- he took the time to walk us through our options and helped us feel confident in our decisions. We went with Orange Cabinetry, a more budget-friendly brand that Ofer endorsed in terms of quality and customer service. Even though there was a delay in stock (which we were informed about in advance), the team encouraged us to stick with the sage green color we really loved instead of settling for something else just to speed things up. I'm so glad we waited -- the cabinets are beautiful, well-built, and exactly what we wanted. We've gotten a ton of compliments. Planet Cabinets also helped us source Jeffrey Alexander hardware, and their support with sizing and quantities made that process easy. Overall, we felt informed, supported, and never rushed. Highly recommend Planet Cabinets if you're looking for a company that balances affordability with honest, thoughtful service. read more

We worked with Ofer who designed a whole new cabinet setup for us for a full kitchen renovation. He came to measure multiple times to make sure everything was absolutely correct before we placed the order. When some parts came in damaged Ofer was all over it to make sure any and all replacements were perfect before being installed. I would 100% work with Planet Cabinets again. Our custom color turned out amazing and we're so thrilled. read more

Outstanding service and prices. Custom cabinets with countertops for my laundry room were installed within a few weeks. Everything about this was quick and professional. Price was notably lower than competition (Home Depot) and job was done twice as fast. Everything was on time as promised. Very polite, responsive and attentive staff. Pleasure to deal with, thank you Ofer! read more

We purchased our cabinets from Planet Cabinets and couldn't be happier. During the planning process, we sat down with Ofer and went over every detail, inch by inch, to make sure the layout was perfect. He has high attention to detail and a lot of creativity, and he came up with small tweaks to improve the function that we wouldn't have thought of. Ofer and his team also installed the cabinets and when we came across one issue for our paneled fridge, he helped us get the final look we were hoping for. We recommend him to anyone who's looking for high quality cabinets and we'd love to work with him again read more

We had to replace a wall of custom cabinets along one side of our kitchen when our built-in refrigerator went kaput and couldn't be fixed. Ofer helped us find some beautiful stock cabinetry that would work with our redesigned layout, at about one-third of the cost that our previous contractor estimated ($3,300 vs. $10,000). The fact that Ofer's construction company, Maya, was able to install the cabinets and do all the other work we needed done made the whole experience seamless. The result is beautiful and really functional. We're really happy with the new cabinetry, really glad we didn't pay three times more than we needed to, and would definitely go to Planet Cabinets again for any cabinetry needs in the future. read more

A recent overhaul of my kitchen and bathroom turned out to be just what I had hoped for. I am so pleased with the result! But, then, a problem dripped down! When the bathroom was being completed, the last step was putting the baseboards back. But, the nail holding the baseboard also nicked, just barely, one of the water pipes. A small drip occurred which then slowly proceeded to destroy the ceiling in the bathroom below! It fell in! What a mess! So, contact Ufer. To make a long story somewhat shorter and more to the point. Without ANY hassle, the damage was completely repaired, as in a new ceiling in the bathroom, painting, and inspections. It was completed in a timely manner as well. Planet Cabinets guarantees its work and stands behind its guarantees! That is what was so great about the whole affair. They do what they promise! read more

We found Planet Cabinets / Maya Construction because of their great reviews, and we're so glad we did! From the first consultation through final screw on the wine fridge door, Roni and Udi and Ofer were an intelligent and flexible team who designed and built our absolute dream kitchen. Roni is half of the husband-wife team at Planet Cabinets, and she does all design work to give you a crystal-clear sense of what you're ordering. She hands off to Udi who runs Maya Construction with his partner Ofer, and they price out any construction work you need on top of cabinet installation. Our process was highly iterative because I'm very particular and wanted a lot of customization including unique cabinet sizes and Rev-A-Shelf inserts throughout. Once everything was perfect, the work started with some flooring and HVAC subcontractors from Udi's "rolodex" who did great work. Then came the Maya crew who were punctual, extremely conscientious about tidiness beyond the work area, friendly, and very capable. If I won the lottery and could afford bespoke cabinetry in my new mansion on Burling Street, I'd still return to Planet Cabinets. The "semi-custom" manufacturer that Roni and Udi recommended is higher quality than two very expensive custom built-ins that I previously sourced for my family room and entryway. Drive past Home Depot and work with Planet Cabinets, it's a no regrets move! read more

Ofer and team were FANTASTIC to work with! We had a small laundry project and were frustrated with the absurd quotes from big box stores (e.g. Home Depot) and thought we would try something local. Ofer offered great quality (dovetail joints, soft close hinges), reasonable prices and included curbside delivery (cabinets) and installation (countertop). We sent his team our measurements and they provided recent projects for inspiration and brought our design to life with layouts and 3D renderings. The charcoal color is absolutely beautiful and we love the quartz countertop. My only problem is that my laundry room is now the nicest room in our home :-) We would definitely work with Ofer again - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I had a fantastic experience with Planet Cabinets. The store front seems small, but they have hundreds of options to choose from and great selections. I went to three other places and these guys were 40% less for the same cabinets - exact same layout. Ofer is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Amazingly they never lost patience with me through 6 visits and changing my mind 26x. My kitchen is not totally complete yet - but take a look at the cabinets. read more

I visited Planet Cabinets to discuss my kitchen remodel. Was greeted by Udi who also owns Maya Construction with his partner Ofer. I can't express enough the wonderful experience I had. From initial consult to completion, Udi and Ofer were very courteous, friendly and supportive of the many changes I made. I had many questions along the way that were met with prompt answers. I chose Greige Maple cabinetry that looks astounding. They made sure to use every available inch of space with great craftsmanship. My initial plan was changed with Udi's keen sense of what I wanted. I now have a beautiful kitchen that functions extremely efficient due to the recommendations. Our experience working with the team at Planet cabinets was phenomenal. Professionalism, quality, communication and follow through were nothing short of remarkable. Being in sales and a customer facing function myself I was truly impressed with Ofer's thorough attention to detail, precise and tireless communication, patience and good willed desire to make us happy. The cabinets in our full bungalow gut rehab came out perfect and the team was an amazing stress free partner in the process. I had worked with Udi and team back in 2018 for a major remodel. A month ago I had an issue with the cabinet that stores my garbage bin. I immediately called to see what could be done. I had expected to pay for a replacement and installation costs. I called and within 24 hours I had answers. Maya construction team called the cabinet manufacturer and started the ball rolling. I received an initial call explaining the process and a time line as to when I would have an answer. Udi was in constant contact with me through the whole project. The great news was that the cabinet and the garbage bin/track were all covered under warranty. Udi came personally to install the new unit! which ended up being an upgrade to what I originally had. I couldn't have asked for more and would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest business owner! On a final note, even after 5 years - Udi remembered me and my project it was like it was yesterday! Amazing customer service!!! read more

I had gone to four different stores looking for good quality cabinets at a fair price, but I didn't realize how badly I needed great service as well and Planet Cabinets hit it out of the park. I had the pleasure of working with Roni, who is not only a very warm and kind woman, but a knowledgeable, patient, communicative and organized one! I didn't know I needed her until I went to planet cabinets. Roni was so patient with me as I asked her the same questions 40 times, and she enlisted help of her contractor coworker as well who helped show me the differences in what I thought I was looking for. I ended up purchasing something a little bit different than what I originally thought I was looking for and I am thrilled that I did- thanks to them! Once I paid for my cabinets they were delivered to my home two weeks later in great condition, and they are gorgeous in my kitchen! Quality cabinets will always be more expensive- The quality, customer service and price is unmatchable. I highly, highly recommend Roni and Planet Cabinets! Thank you!! read more

When my Wife and I decided to remodel our kitchen one of the first concerns was the cabinets. Did my research based on great reviews and came across Planet Cabinets which happened to be close to my home. My Wife and I decided to make an appointment and visit they're very nice showroom on Milwaukee Ave. There we met Ofer Gliksman who from the very start took an interest in our needs and provided us with exceptional advice in what we were looking for. Once we decided what we wanted and placed the order we both kept in contact throughout the entire process and made sure the cabinets arrived in perfect condition. Usually once a deal is done you never hear from the salesperson again, Ofer was an exception. He came to our home at least 3-4 times to verify the condition of the cabinets and the work being done on the counter top which we also purchased through Planet Cabinets. Planet Cabinets deserves 20 starts if I could give them that rating!! It was truly one of best decisions we made during the remodeling process .......everything you look for in a purchase was there in the price, quality and especially customer service! Highly recommended!!!! read more

If I could, I would give them 10 stars. At first, I was almost suspicious of all 5 star reviews. But, after meeting Roni for consultation I was confident that they would take care of my kitchen well. Roni and Udi designed my kitchen very fast but accurately. They were very responsive to my unending requests. Cabinets arrived on the date promised (I had very little time). Udi made sure everything was there and when things were missing, he went himself and got the stuff needed. I needed to order more pieces and he personally delivered it to me. They're very accommodating/conscious of your budget. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

We bought a multi family property and were in need of installing a new kitchen in one of the units. With a budget in mind, I was hoping for the value purchase we all hope to find. I was lucky to find Planet Cabinets online and went in to their store to view their cabinets and discuss our project with Udi, one of the owners. He was professional, informative and understanding of what we were trying to accomplish. Udi came to our property, made all his measurements and emailed us a rendering of the kitchen in a few days. Their pricing and the quality of the cabinets were exactly what I hoped for. We got great quality at a great price = Happy Customer. After delivery of the cabinets, we noticed a crack on one of the upper cabinets and called Udi. Later that day, he picked up the cabinet and brought us a new one the very next day...keeping our project on track. Udi and Ofer of Planet Cabinets deliver on Price, Quality, and Outstanding Customer Service. We can not recommend them enough. You should feel confident to have them work hard for you and deliver for your project. When people ask if I know of someone for Cabinets, I can now honestly say, "I got a guy..." and send them to Planet Cabinets. Thanks again Udi and Ofer! read more

Great Value. I always operate from the position that things NEVER go a smoothly as you hope they will...but, our experience with Planet Cabinets was really pretty smooth. I thought they asked a ton of good questions at the pre-measure - and, they made some good suggestions on things we had not considered. They took an extra day or two getting the cabinets finished - extra drying time, I guess - but, I would rather it be done right than rushed. Final verdict: VERY pleased with the quality - both assembly and install. And, most important thing - my wife loves the new kitchen. We have recommended Planet Cabinets to some neighbors already read more

Updated my kitchen using Planet Cabinets services. The service was exceptional. The salesperson took her time to help me figure out creative ways to fill in odd spaces in the kitchen. She was really patient with my inexperience in knowing what I want. The quality of the cabinets are similar to high end custom cabs but the cost was much more reasonable than a chain store. From the time I finalized the order to a finished kitchen, I totaled about a 3 week process. I also liked the guarantee behind the quality of the products. Love my kitchen. read more

Planet cabinets walked me through every step of my kitchen remodel from design to product details to actual installation- every little detail done with care. They followed through with every promise they made, on time, and with professional communication throughout. Udi was a fantastic resource and he really knows his products well. I had a couple mistaken peices and the problems were remedied instantly. Their prices are competitive and their product (J&K) looks and feels like a true quality product. It was an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with Roni, who sat with me for hours and truly guided me through the design process with patience and an immense amount of expertise. She was able to incorporate what I wanted with what made sense and the results are perfect! Their countertop fabricator did a fantastic job with my precious Quartzite and installed it flawlessly as well. It was definitely an added perk to have cabinets and countertops both taken care of by one company instead of having to coordinate several companies to work all together on the same project.
