This company overcharged me by thousands of dollars. After they installed my floors they looked dirty and had streaks on them. I called them up and they used a floor polish that didn't make it any better. It actually made it worse. They didn't use furniture pads that I bought for them to put under the couch and other furniture. I thought they used them and when I tried to move my couch, it scratched the floor. When I called them, they said it wasn't their responsibility to use the furniture pads or to get the streaks out so it looks like a new floor. They were very rude. I ended up hiring a new company for $3500 to get my floors looking the way they should've the first time. I would never use them again. They said there's nothing more they could do and it wasn't their responsibility to put on the furniture pads. I talked to the president of the company and he was very rude. I ended up having to go to a new firm and spend $3500 read more

We used Premier to remodel our master bathroom in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. We initially found them through yelp and had about six or seven different contractors come to our apartment to get the specs and then provide a quote. Premier did a great job with my home renovations. I worked with Leo who was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The team did a variety of projects including: painting, tile and floor installation, floor refinishing, and installing fixtures. The only feedback I have is that their attention to detail was could be improved upon. There were several times I caught spots that were not completed, but they assured me and eventually got them done. Roy and the crew did a great job on our lower level renovation. We had a long laundry list of things to be done: floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, painting, new doorways, HVAC changes, and more. They were very responsive and stayed in constant contact so we always knew what was going on and what the next steps were. They were upfront about the possibility of additional work when our walls were opened up, and (as we'd expected) there was some water damage remediation to be done which they quickly took care of. They handled navigating the Skokie permits and inspections well without any hiccups. The crew worked very clean, removing debris as it was created during the demo phase. Fantastic work at a fair price! We had Premier Remodeling remodel our joint laundry and mechanical room space that occupies about 1/3 of the lower level of our split level home. The space was torn down to the studs and built back up into a wonderful space (a job involving carpentry, plumbing and electrical work). A new dividing wall and pocket door was installed to create a smaller mechanical room and separate laundry room. Both spaces look great! I have been considering redoing my kitchen counters for a long time and got a few quotes over the last year. Recently one of my neighbors recommend Roy for the job. Roy was very quick to schedule an appointment and to provide a detailed estimate. Though he was not the lowest estimate (nor the highest), it was very detailed and I could see all of the costs laid out and was comfortable that there wouldn't be any surprises and additional fees later on. In addition to my counters, I decided to refinished my hardwood floors and install hardwood in an another room. Roy's team did a great job, you cannot even tell where the transition between original and new floors are. They provided several stain options and worked with me to select the perfect light grey matte finish. The kitchen job needed significant re-framing and electrical work. Having done dozens of remodeling jobs over 30+ years in San Francisco for myself and real estate clients, I was brutally accustomed to expecting the adage that work being done "will take twice as long and cost three times as much, or take three times as long and cost twice as much" which invariably ended up taking three times as long and costing three times as much. He gave us a great estimate of the amount of time the cleanup would take as well as a very detailed step by step description of the entire process. Premier's work was meticulous. They were on time each day and cleaned up after themselves. When they were done with the job there wasn't a drop of garbage left in the basement or anywhere around our property. Ronne actually gave me tips and ideas about how to repair a few window wells to prevent any seepage in the future. Him and his team repaired and restored all our water damage in our unit. The project included removal of damaged dry wall and wood floors, and then they restored the walls (dry wall and paint) and wood floors. They were efficient and clean.
