It wasn't a great experience. The woman who brought out the items was ok but when I called for curbside pickup but they really seemed to want me to change my mind and come inside. When I arrived, I called the number for the store and there was a menu option for curbside. Great! When it connected and I said I was there for curbside, the woman at the store ask there was no one in so I could come in. That was actually a lie... I had watched two people who had parked moments after me enter the store. I told her I'd rather it be delivered curbside, she asked my name, and then as she was hanging up the phone was complaining to someone (ostensibly her coworkers) that I wanted them to deliver curbside. Another staff member delivered it and she had a friendly demeanor, but really... if you're going to complain about your customers, make sure they can't hear you.

We went here because they had advertised a free cooking class. It turned out to be a demonstration with about 50 other people standing around a small counter top and only the people right in front could see anything. There was a mirror that should have been tilted so that we all had a chance to see what was going on, but they never moved it, so it was useless. I was not about to stand around for an hour and a half so I walked around the store. The store itself is large with a very nice selection of just about anything you would need for a kitchen or dining area. They had some beautiful dishes for spring and Easter, any size pots and pans you could ever want, a large selection of Harry Potter themed merchandise and unique accessories to help make cooking and entertaining less stressful. Since we were lured there under false pretenses, and I personally find their prices to be higher than other stores, I would not shop here unless I was looking for something specific. On the plus side, they do have a parking lot, and parking is premium around here.

Hours

Hours in Yelp are wrong. And they don't have their hours posted on the door. On Weekdays, they close at 7pm, not 8pm. Help your customers out and post your dam hours. I got there after they closed bc of the Yelp error, but they will still in the store. I just needed to pick up an online order, but no can do. Couldn't have been less helpful or understanding. Pick a different WS store, or better yet, go to Sur La Table.

There's something about Williams-Sonoma that raises your spirits as soon as you walk in the store. It's aesthetically pleasing to your senses. It allows you to imagine family gatherings or fabulous cocktail parties. The inventory is dynamic and in abundance. Whatever you are looking for, you'll find several choices. On my last visit, I went for a birthday gift for a friend and left with that gift plus several other gifts for upcoming birthdays and even Christmas! I also found something lovely for myself. A woman was helping me at first and then passed me off to David. I LOVED David's customer service skills!! He was so warm and friendly. On my next visit, I'll be sure to look for David. Set in a tiny strip mall, parking is super easy. In the city, that's a huge positive factor.

I bought two Elevated Craft Cocktail Shakers today from this store, when I got home I realized that even though I was charged full price, without being told by the clerk I was actually given two used cocktail shakers. Both the boxes had their seals broken, one had a scuff and one of them even had "DISPLAY" written on the barcode affixed to the bottom of the shaker. Now I live an hour away from this store and something makes me think they're not going to send a clerk to pick this up, or give me a UPS return label with a scheduled pick up. Always remember that if they do this to you, and dont want to schedule a pickup, you can call up your credit card company and initiate a charge back.

I love, love, LOVE kitchen shops! What I especially enjoy about Williams-Sonoma is the gourmet food options...I purchased a bottle of the Italian Herb & VSOP Balsamic Dipping Oil! Phenomenal mix of herbs and balsamic with high quality olive oil. Loved dipping bread in it! Delicious!!!!! They also had other dipping oils such as: Blue Cheese & Fig Parmesan Garlic Herb Pesto Would definitely like to try other flavors; however this bottle will last a long time!

While the merchandise is nice, the customer service falls short. I ordered a faucet and sink which…read moretook 10 weeks to deliver. Not an issue at all. However, I had to continue to contact my sales rep over and over for the following 2 months to ensure there was a modicum of communication to have some insight into delivery date and to coordinate the delivery with my contractor. We set a date for delivery on March 8th and advised that I will have my contractor at my home for the final install. I messaged my sales rep the day prior to the planned delivery date to confirm and was told that I should receive a call from the delivery company. Great. When that didn't happen, I left numerous messages with my sales rep and never received a call back on delivery day. Once the delivery company did call, they inquired if delivery 2 days out would suffice. I advised that I had one person working from home to receive the item and my contractor waiting for the sink/faucet as this was planned with Porcelanosa for more than 2 weeks. The delivery company stated that they received the delivery notice JUST THAT MORNING!!! The delivery company bent over backwards and delivered the items at the end of their scheduled work day as they felt bad for me over the situation. My sales associate at Porcelanosa dropped the ball and, to this day, I have not heard back from them. Not even an apology. J'von, I'm incredibly disappointed. You were so helpful when I entered the showroom then things went downhill as time went on. Loved the sink and faucet but likely will opt for another designer or showroom for my master bathroom project this summer.

Sent her pics, she stated, "that would be $200,000. for kitchen." Without measurements, coming out like she said she was, twice. After many weeks, i again recontacted her and she said, "oh, it got cancelled, were doing a new computer reboot," or some lame ass excuse. If I hadn't even reached out again and again and again, she would never have responded. Based on this , I'm sure the service and completed production, if it ever occurred would have been a "Shitshow." Looking elsewhere. This has been going on for months, what a joke.

Overall, the products are amazing. You are paying for an extremely high end product. You will love them. You will dream about them. You will spend a lot of time on Pinterest. If you can swallow the bitter pill of feeling like a second class citizen. I just didn't enjoy the experience. We were ignored on our first visit to the showroom - with no excuse, mind you... There was a blizzard going on and no one was shopping at the Merch Mart that day. It was us... and a family flipping through the blueprints for the new home, their designer, and their Waterworks salesperson. We should have know our relationship would be doomed from the beginning. We eventually fell in with our salesperson, who seemed nice and knowledgable, if not a little uninterested. We knew what we liked... we just needed someone to help us maneuver the Waterworks product line. We got super excited. We KNEW we were going to make it work! Then we got the price. Whoa. Regroup. My two star review is not a reflection of the price... We knew going in it was going to be the high end of our budget. It's about the customer service you receive when spending a lot of money. Because lets face it... we could all go to Home Depot and buy Kohler. But when you spend money at Waterworks, you expect to be treated well. Not ass-kissing. I'm talking basic respect. We are a young couple. Sure... we are only doing a kitchen and a bathroom right now, but if we had enjoyed this experience, we would have recommended Waterworks to EVERYONE. We would have been devoted Waterworks loyalists. Instead, we will take our money elsewhere. Additionally: + The website is terrible. + You have to specifically ask that the quote include all the components to make the faucets work, etc.. That seems really, really silly... But to not even ASK if we want those components included seems sneaky.

I believe her name is Jadah. She answered quite a few of my questions, as all of the designers were with customers, and was very reassuring that my questions were legit and that I wasn't wasting her time. I can only hope that when I decide to start my project your designers are as wonderful as Jadah!

Once payment is received - customer service stops. I have defective (not broken, defective from…read moremanufacture) product that I am waiting on replacement for a month. They do not return calls when voicemail is left, when you get a hold of someone - "we'll double check and get back to you". Dave L. (manager in Highland Park store) - spoke once with him, got "I will get back to you". He never did... called him a couple of times and left voicemails - no call back. Karen (manager customer service) - does not call back but if you get. Hold of her - "I will check and let you know"... that does not happen ... until you call again (and get the same response from her) Leslie - sales person - disappeared after forwarding complaint about defective product. In all honesty - Home Depot has much better customer service compared to Studio 41... my next step - filing dispute with credit card company... after a month of waiting ("replacement product is in stock at manufacture warehouse in the US") - I am done with them.
