First time visiting as I'm from the south, but when I return on my next trip, this will definitely be a restaurant I will patronize.

Words cannot describe how truly sad of an excuse for a restaurant this is. After just one bite, I wanted to rip my tongue out and burn it immediately, only to stop the terrible taste of discount crab. I ordered a New England Combo and received a plate of inedible rubber- so flavorless that I doubt there was even real lobster meat. Additionally, the staff were not pleasant and took far too long to bring me extra ketchup packets. I'll try again next week, but for now this is certainly a 1 star. read more

Keeping the social distancing and wearing masks, this Restaurant was up to par. Excellent clam chowder and seafood gumbo soup. Lots of fresh seafood and the taste is Amazing. Ordered the shrimp with sweet potato fries and it was excellent. Great atmosphere, service was good too. read more

We ordered a gin and tonic, 6 oysters on the half shell, and two main courses. The drink came with gin and soda water, not tonic, and no lime. We told the waitress that the drink was wrong and she got defensive. She took it back and the bartender made a real one, with tonic and lime. She apologized, saying that it was a new bartender. Strange. the oysters came and they had no taste. I asked for the manager and she said that they were shucked every two hours and washed. Washed? They were basically ruined, without a hint of saltiness or the sea. I told her that I did not want to pay for them. She said that we ate 3 of the 6, so she would only take half the oyster cost off the bill. That was a poor response. We had only continued past the first one as a test, in total disbelief that an oyster could have no taste, as I had never had such an experience. It actually looked like they had been put in different shells than they came out of, ones that had been cleaned/washed and put aside. The rest of the food was only OK, not great. Avoid the oysters, if you go. They ruin them. read more

This is a great place to dine in or get a bag and bring it home. Always have had a nice experience while dining in. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff are always very helpful and polite. The seafood is always on point and well prepared. Crazy Seafood is a definitely a place to explore if your in the mood for some amazing seafood. read more

On April 4thI posted a negative review of Crazy Seafood in West Springfield, Mass. Yelp has taken it down. To me that is pure censorship. People have the right to post and or read negative reviews. That balance is what helps one to make an informed decision. Yelp should be ashamed of itself. The review: I ordered the Fried Cod Fish Basket. When asked if I wanted regular or Cajun fries, I asked if I could get 1/2 order of each and was told yes. The cod fish was tough, leathery and did not taste like fish. I took a bite of each of the 2 pieces then give up as it was just horrible. This was not fresh fish. I am willing to bet it was frozen and had been in the freezer for a long long time. The mix of fries I ordered was all Cajun fries. All in all, a waste of $13.86 and my time. read more

Ordered for pickup. They said be there in 20. I was there in 20. Food was cold, like not cooked all the way through cold. The fries were cold. Got 3 of the 16$ fried plates, which were not a good deal, they were mostly fries and came with only 1 prepackaged container of tarter sauce. Like, 'they don't make their own sauce prepackaged' and they only gave you 1 for 3? For $16? You should probably avoid this place you less you're willing to overpay for mediocre food. read more

This place is a complete rip off. The food was tasty, the service staff nice but my 63$ plate of food literally consisted of a half of a crab leg, 2 maybe 3 oz lobster tail 3 little red potatoes and 3 shaved pieces of chicken sausage. I'm not a complainer ever. I understand that seafood is expensive and I ran resturant so I know about these things. They are straight up rip offs. First time sr Crazy Seafood. Ryan our server was delightful, prompt and professional. Free refills on soft drinks. I had the whole lobster, corn on the cob, chicken andouille sausage, red potatoes, little neck clams. Portions were small but tasty. Price was as expected for market rate, dinner for two under $76. So This was the second time I've ordered from this place. The first time I would have no complaints, they gave me a decent amount of food and it tasted good. Well, I ordered again last nights and let's just say I feel like I got scammed. I ordered one pound of snow crab and a half point of mussels. What I ended up getting was ONE cluster of snow crab that couldn't of weighed more than 1/4 of a pound. 29 dollars for the crab, and I got ONE cluster. When I tried to call them, no one even answered. Don't say you're selling a pound of crab when you're giving me a quarter of that. It's unfortunate because I really liked this place the first time, and it was gonna be my main seafood place, but I can't take the chance of spending that amount of money and just getting scammed. read more

Loved it. I do not like spicy hot food but you can get your food however you like it. I got king crab leg dinner and it was outstanding. Garlic butter sauce was awesome. You won't leave hungry. Waitress was great. I would recommend it to anyone. Very clean. read more

Place is cute and clean. Food is gross and overpriced. Caesar salad was a bagged mix with a packet of Kraft dressing . Fish and chips was heavily battered and very little fish. Really greasy and way overcooked. The crayfish bag was decent but not very filling. Don't think I will go back. read more
