We really didn't have to wait on a Saturday, however we wanted to wait for a booth to open so they gave us a buzzer which works around town and were buzzed about 15 mins later so not bad! The decor was a funky 50s look. I started with an iced caramel latte. I ordered the eggs your way which was 2 eggs with hashbrowns and toast. I ordered over easy with american cheese and sourdough bread. The hashbrowns were a little overdone for my liking. The toast was very fresh- tasted homemade. I also ordered a side order of cookie dough pancakes which could have used a tad more cookie dough. If I come back I would definitely try something else! Crazy Beans has one of the most interesting and eclectic menus I've ever seen, and had me hard pressed to choose between 4 items for breakfast! I decided on the fried avocado burrito with Crazy Beans sauce on the side (can't recommend enough) and my boyfriend got the Belgian waffle and cinnamon swirl French toast. I will give 5 stars for a few reasons. 1. The staff was very friendly. 2. The prices are very reasonable. 3. They have the best coffee I have ever had!! I am a very fussy coffee drinker because I can only drink decaf and most places just don't have the best decaf. They altered it to the way I liked and nailed it even with the syrups (I don't like it too sweet). I have never been able to find a place that is that on with it! If I could give a zero star, I would. I'm a local in Greenport and had been living here for over three years now. First time I went there when I first moved it was mediocre, the place was very dirty and so is the bathroom. I later went back with my wife with an Aldo's coffee in my hand and they refuse to let me in the door unless I throw it out Keep in mind I am in the hospitality business my entire life and I understand that outside food is against policy, but it's a coffee from a local business same business that the people who work at the coffee shop recommend colustomers to go to crazy Bean (no longer) It was towards the end of our coffee and we were going to order more coffee and spend money there but instead we went somewhere else. Fast-forward to today when I brought my son in there, it would've been his first restaurant experience in a stroller and I asked if they didn't mind if I brought it in because and Only because there was one two top table ( out of about 20 table) and they said that I had to leave it outside so I said screw it and left. Everyone ordered make your own breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and omelets. We also tried their famous breakfast sangria which was made with local wine and fruits. It's all tasty. Coffee comes in individual mugs and a range of flavors. It's fun to cruise the walls and take in the easy on eye decor. Prices are good, service is top notch, experience is great.
