We needed to have our attic cleaned due to serious rat infestation. No rats presently living there but it had to be cleaned, disinfected and all holes sealed before the A/C equipment could be serviced. The "rat patrol" showed up on time, assessed our attic, took pictures before beginning the process, and then donned their own PPE and completely covered the stairway (2 story home) before beginning. Chuck, Alex and Giovanni carefully bagged years of personal momentos that were damaged by rats and showed us what they had collected for disposal. In 2 hours time they had cleaned, disinfected, and professionally completed the job with our remaining items neatly stacked. We were surprised and impressed by how quickly and efficiently they worked and were amazed by the before and after pictures. Crawlspace Clean was referred to us by the contractor that replaced our heating system. They did an amazing job adding insulation to our attic. Our house is older and we had about three inches of insulation in the attic, making it difficult to achieve a consistent temperature in our house. They added more insulation to get it to around 13 inches, more or less. The results were amazing, and I can already feel a difference in the inside temperature. Jacob got back to us very fast with a site inspection and quote for our attic which included: removal of very old insulation, cleaning, and new insulation. His quote was VERY reasonable and was able to fit us in their schedule within a couple days. Jacob and his crew made sure to secure plastic coverings on our hardwood floors and stairs. They were efficient, polite, and made sure the areas they worked in were left clean. After their work, you would never know they were here or what they did. They followed up their work with before, during, and after pics emailed to us with the receipt. Very organized and professional. Night and day compared to a DIFFERENT company we used 2 years ago for the other side of our house and they were HORRIBLE. The guy didn't want to come out to quote as he said he does this everyday and it's straightforward. We' got the quote and then they wanted $500 more the day they came to work. If only I can give more than 5 stars. Excellent communication, great deal of patience, and friendly input to our problems. I moved into my house about a year ago and had a smell that came from under the floor due to multiple leaks. The crawlspace only had less than 2 ft. of clearing. Two other crawlspace companies refused to help (alongside the four plumber companies refusing as well) but Crawlspace Clean came in to save us. Jacob came out to take a look at our home because of a mouse problem. He was very profession, kind and efficient. He let us know when he was on the way which is super helpful when your working with a time window. He got on our roof, checked the crawlspace, and attic. He quickly reported that we didn't have a big enough problem for the kind of work they do. He told me our crawl space and attic were clean. He then spent a good amount of time with me to explain the best way to trap the mice. It was so refreshing to have an honest company out to our home. I'm not sure what happened. I see so many wonderful reviews I am not sure if I was lost in the holiday rush or what. I felt the initial inspection went well and I was booked quickly to get a discount at the end of the year. I had high expectations given others comments and the person who did the initial inspection. I guess the work was done well, people came, did work and left. No follow up or check-ins. I felt the price did not equate to the work, given most of the cost was for external fixes that took very little time to complete. I was supposed to get my traps checked 2 - 3 times, but given I could not accommodate the only day they could come by, they are just sitting there. I wrote with my concerns, they wrote back quickly and then crickets. Again, this review is 100% on customer service and expectations. I had a home inspection done on a place I was purchasing. The home inspection found evidence of 'vermin infestation'. I had Crawlspace Clean come out for a free inspection and they found a severe root rat infestation (tons of feces in the attic, etc). After I purchased the property, Crawlspace Clean removed all the old, dirty insulation, completely sanitized the attic, and added new blown in fiberglass insulation. Additionally, they contract with an exclusion company that came in the next day and sealed up all the problem spots in the attic where the rats could have gotten in, and set snap traps. I've been moved in over a month now and checked the attic, and it's still clean; the rats are gone and none of the traps have been touched. In addition, they offer an extendable warranty. While it may seem a little bit expensive upfront, the price is well worth it for the peace of mind that root rats won't be coming back. I highly recommend Crawlspace Clean. read more

Highly recommended! Thought we may have had rats in the house (we had rats previously) because of some noises my mom heard. Having used a different company before for the rat issues, we contacted them again and they came out, didn't go in the attic (where the rats were last time), notified us of a few places that the rats may have entered (that they didn't identify the first time we went through this), and then wanted to charge us for trapping services...WITHOUT KNOWING IF THERE WERE RATS! So, we decided to see what other vendors were available. After submitting a generic request via Yelp, Crawlspace Clean was the first to respond. Their communications were clean and there was no BS. They sent someone out to put eyes on the property within days; he even arrived early. After inspecting the property he reported that there was no evidence of rats and further explained that where my mom heard a rat was likely not a rat, simply based on the how the house is set up. Crawlspace Clean did a wonderful job eliminating my rat problem. Their work crews cleaned out, sealed, and sanitized my attic. They also added new insulation, installed wire mesh over the rat entry points on the exterior of my home and inside my pantry. They set traps for any rats that might still be in the attic. We had the team from Crawlspace Clean come out and rid our home of unwanted pests back in November. A new gapping hole was created by a creature and Crawlspace Clean sent out Chuck to remedy the situation. Chuck was professional, on time, and listened to our concerns sympathetically. He sealed up the new hole with physical rodent proofing barriers, making it look nice and undisturbed.
