Overall Aaron was responsive, thorough, clean/considerate of our home, and uncovered some issues in our ducts that we were unaware of. He found a duct completely blocked from 40 year old construction debris (we had reason to believe it was from original construction of the home) that we were able to get repaired and cleaned out to restore our AC function in our kitchen. We had him come in post construction on a big remodel and were happy with how thorough he was, especially cleaning areas of the HVAC system that aren't the ducts that can also collect significant debris and circulate it through your home. Super easy working with AJ Services! Before they even arrived, my housemate and I were happy with their communication and responsiveness. They arrived on time, and even texted to let us know they'd be about 5 minutes later than scheduled. We appreciated that they didn't arrive way early as some companies do! When they came inside, they put on the shoe coverings to not dirty the floors and swept afterwards. They were fast (in and out to clean the dryer vents) within like 20 minutes, and even spent extra time to adjust our dryer so it wouldn't catch on the door (it's a tight fit!). I recently hired Aaron from AJ services for dryer vent cleaning for my townhouse in Pleasanton. Aaron communicated well during his drive to my house and gave his ETA. Upon arrival, he explained his service and how he intended to clean the dryer vent. My townhouse has a stackable dryer vent in a closet area. During the process of checking out the dryer, Aaron found that there was an issue with how the initial dryer installation was performed and the dryer vent hose was completely damaged. He also found that the dryer hose with disconnected from the inside of the dryer too. After he moved the washer/dryer out of the closet, he thoroughly cleaned the dryer vent up the roof, the closet area, and the interior of the dryer. During the entire process, he let me know what was occurring and what he was going to do. Aaron was very professional and friendly. He clearly takes pride in his work and knew what he was doing. He was a true professional, and even had a replacement dryer vent hose to replace the damaged hose from my initial Sears installment. This is the second time I have used Aaron to clean my ducts. Last night my dryer stopped working with an error code that I thought was due to my vents being clogged. He informed me that he would be out of the office until July but would be happy to come upon his return. I told him that my dryer wasn't working and as much as I wanted to use him again, I couldn't go a month without a dryer. He replied that he was packing for a trip, but could come that afternoon and take a look. Within a couple of hours, he arrived and figured out that my error code wasn't due to clogged ducts, but instead somehow the child lock had been set on my dryer. Thankfully, I asked him to stay and clean anyway because the amount of lint that he found was unreal! I love how he shows you the pictures of what he removes. I was shocked at how much builds up. These days it's harder to find a professional who is not only good at what they do, but genuinely cares about their clients. Aaron is that professional. Aaron replied promptly to my inquiry about dryer duct cleaning, and was very thorough in his reply of what the service entails. When he arrived he (thankfully) wore booties on his shoes, which I appreciated since the house cleaners had just finished cleaning the house before him. I hired Aaron/AJ Services to clean ducts in our house. After completing his work, he informed me that the dryer exhaust pipe was severely clogged as he could not feel the air coming out from the other end. He suggested contacting a general contractor to fix the clogged dryer exhaust pipe. I called the general contractor to look into the clogged dryer exhaust pipe, and he found that Aron severely broke it while cleaning it. The general contractor also found the broken pieces of the dryer vent snake that Aron used to clean the dryer exhaust pipe. I am attaching the images. If you look closely at the below images, you will see no lint present. Those images clearly show that the dryer exhaust pipe was broken during services performed by Aaron/AJ Services. Aaron knew his dryer vent snake had broken, but he did not inform me. Fixing this broken duct cost me a lot of money as the dryer exhaust pipe was behind the wall. It was unprofessional work, and I will not recommend Aaron/AJ Services for duct cleaning. read more

I hired Aaron for dryer vent cleaning because my dryer kept throwing out 80% full error, and without doubt he did the job professionally and efficiently. What brought me to write the review is how he stood by his service and the way he went out and above to help 2 months after the cleaning. I was doing my laundry last night and notice hot moist air coming out of my AC intake, not the dryer vent. As well as some wet ink on the wall. Not sure if it has something to do with the cleaning, I decided to contact Aaron first on the next day, and he immediately responded. He offered yo come to exam the issue on site and would charge $50 if it's not an issue with vent. He was able to fit me in his schedule same day and it turns out the connection of dryer duct behind the intake fall most likely a bad contractor's job. What's amazing about Aaron was that not only he found the problem, he went in there and helped me fix the issue so I don't have to go around and call someone again! Such a lifesaver! I couldn't be more grateful for his kind and professional action, and he didn't even charge me for that trip cost, just basic material fee. I would contact Aaron again for his knowledge and service. My dryer gave an error code that the dryer vent was likely blocked. AJ Services was able to come out the next day. They explained clearly what they were doing to clear the vent and even made a minor repair to the vent connection where the original installer had placed it sloppily allowing lint and air to leak. Aaron came by to clean our dryer vent. He was pleasant, professional, and completed the job well. He patiently answered my questions and clearly explained what he was going to do. I also noted that he was well organized with his equipment, properly attired to walk inside the house and practice safety precautions, and obviously took pride in his excellent work.
