Was on time; very thorough. Easy to work with; flat rates. No surprises. Did all vents, ducts and the drier cleaning under three hours. Accommodated weekend which was very nice. read more

Over the past few years, I hired two different companies to clean our dryer vent, but the vent became clogged again shortly after each service. Then I found James. He quickly identified the true cause of the problem and thoroughly cleaned the vent. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. If you're looking for someone reliable for your dryer vent cleaning, I highly recommend James! read more

TASK performed an incredibly thorough cleaning touching every piece of the ventilation system for a very good price. James and Tim were a pleasure to work with - Communicative, courteous, tidy, experienced. I would hire them back in an instant! read more

James rescued me when my dryer vent was sooo clogged it was affecting my dryer. He called me right away and set up an appointment. He did a great job I highly recommend him! read more

I am in awe at the wonderful service and expertise we just experienced with TASK! After our landlord initially hired an unqualified duct cleaner that created a huge mess, TASK was hired to clean properly with negative pressure. Boy are we satisfied!! Their knowledge and equipment was impressive and professional. The team was so respectful of our home, and even sanitized the duct work after the cleaning. The pictured filter shows everything that was sucked out by TASK's equipment/superior method. It's insane that this was all left behind by a cut rate service provider the first time! TASK made quick work of thoroughly freeing the ducts from previous tenant's pet hair and debris and we can already tell/smell the difference! Thank you TASK!! Highly recommend if you're looking for quality service that's done right the first time! read more

Very professional! I had no idea what a dryer vent entailed or what it was suppose to do but after living here for so long I figured why not do one. It was very cost effective, not bad at all. There is some equipment that goes into your place and it does get loud but they are thorough and they make sure they clean the mess (which was barely any). At the time our balcony was getting redone so our dryer vent was not available for a cleaning but they promised to come back and do it for free when my balcony was done. I highly recommend James! read more

James did a great job updating and rerouting my dryer duct. He responded very promptly, came on time, was friendly and polite and there were no hidden or added costs. read more

A couple months ago following the end of a full remodel of our condo we hired James to clean our air system which I don't think we ever had cleaned professionally in 20+ years. James was just an all around pleasant guy and arrived and got right to work. I believe he was here for a couple hours, patiently answered any questions I had along the way and unlike many workers that were in our home over the course of our year long remodel, left no mess for us to clean up after. When he was done the house smelled fresh (but not scented) and my wife who is hyper-sensitive to scents and chemicals had no issue at all and neither did our small dog who has allergies. We also added on the dryer vent cleaning. Since James was here we've noticed a significant difference in the air flowing evenly through our home. Prior to having the ducts cleaned the upstairs was typically 20 degrees warmer on hot days than the main floor. Now cool air flows through all the upstairs vents balancing out the temperature between the first and second floor. The other noticeable difference is that dusting the house has gone from a daily chore to dusting weekly. And as to the dryer vent James not only cleared out the hose (which is about 20 feet from the dryer to the outside vent) but replaced the crumpled dryer hose (from machine to wall) with a new and improved one. As a result the clothes are drying in a much shorter period of time. There's no question we'll hire James again in the future. read more

James worked on an variety of duct related projects in my home. He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, cost effective and just a good person. He spent a lot of time investigating things whereas most people want to get in and out as quickly as possible. I cannot recommend James enough. He cleaned my ducts, sealed them, added sealant inside the fiber board plenums, moved my pressure dump to be more efficient, checked my attic seal and ventilation and more. If you hire him I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

I called TASK regarding an issue I was having and no other company could find the problem. James came out within a day, called first, which was very professional. He was extremely knowledgeable on his investigation and found the problem within less than an hour. He is such an incredibly good person and I cannot recommend James enough for your project. You will not be disappointed if you work with him. read more

After cleaning my dryer vent, the HOA hired them to clean all of the dryer vents in our condo building, working from both inside units (pulling out dryers to get a good clean of the vent from the inside) and then going onto the roof to remove the massive lint blockages. Excellent service, very thorough, reasonably priced, super hard workers. Highly recommended over others, including national brands and larger companies! read more

For cleaning our dryer vent, James was able to come the very next day of me calling. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and offered very good pricing. read more

James was quite experienced and had loads of knowledge. He is very patient and took time to explain how he checked in on the attic's condition. Cleaned up the furnace, checked on the ac coils, cleaned all vents including dryer vent. He used a sanitizer that would smell good and kill bacteria in the vents. Extremely happy with his service and he is quite reasonable with his price as I compared his work and quote to 4 other business owners. James is highly recommend for this job. Thank you. read more

James performed an HVAC and dryer vent cleaning for our new home. James was amazing to work with - he was responsive and courteous to schedule with and I was impressed by how thoughtful and thorough he was during the actual cleaning. He clearly knows what he's doing and he went above and beyond to explain helpful things about our homes system. It was late by the time he finished cleaning the HVAC but he made another trip out a few days later to make sure our dryer vent was fully taken care of (including digging an abandoned birds nest out of the external vent). We had a great experience from start to finish and highly recommend TASK! read more

James and Tim were both extremely professional, efficient, easy to have in our house and very respectful. Their quote was less than 4 other companies and we are so happy we went with them!!!! read more

James just left our home after cleaning our dryer vent and I am very impressed. Here's why: James is professional, thorough, friendly and well priced for the quality of his work. I suspected I had a vent problem and had attempted to clean out the vent myself with some success. But the dryer still was not as efficient as it had been in the past. James was able to get MUCH more lint and even some twigs/nest out of the vent. And despite the mess the lint made on the side of our house where the vent opening was, James cleaned everything up perfectly. This is the first time I have used a vent cleaning service as I know they are famous for using high-pressure sales for work you may not need. The only vent cleaning service I will use from this point forward is TASK and James. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

James is very professional, and did a wonderful job cleaning the ducts and heat/cooling systems in our new home. In our first discussion over the phone right up front he provided a full explanation of his services and what they entail and why they are performed. He gave us an estimate as well. He was able to come just a few days later on short notice. He got straight to work and was very thorough and efficient. My goodness you should have seen all the dirt and dust he removed from the ducting. The previous owners of the home hadn't cleaned the ac coils nor the dryer vent in 20 years; in my opinion the latter presents as a fire hazard. I feel much safer, I'm certain the dryer will be more efficient, I know my energy bills will be lower, and most of all I'm looking forward to cleaner air in my home! TASK's services are a must for everyone. Thank you so much James! read more

I had the best experience with James and his team ( Tim and ?). They are all very polite and professional, know loads of info, were very helpful in explaining every step and way more. Would hire them again for sure and would recommend them without hesitation. James oozes honesty and kindness and mostly , experience. read more

James (TASK) is excellent. Cleaned our relatively new home hvac vents, dryer vent and bathroom exhaust fans. He is very busy since he does both commercial as well as residential. Sometimes his schedule is booked up for couple of months. He has wide breadth of knowledge on AC/Heater/HVAC systems. He is very professional, prompt and cleans up the area after he is done. Will definitely recommend and use his services again. read more

After reading up on the scams going on, I was worried and not sure who to trust or what to do, but have to do something for our situation. I went to the EPA website someone posted and I found Total Air System Kleaning. I talked to James who explained the process for the vent cleaning - using negative pressure (also recommended by another vent cleaning my husband called). When I advised him of the "dead animal smell" he commented that it might not be inside the vent and if we would like him to come out to look at it. He did. He checked the vents, the heating units and even looked underneath the house in this wet weather. He also gave us a solution to dilute water and spray the odor area to get rid of the smell as well as offer to come and do another stronger spray if the other solution does not work. He assesment: the vents look okay and we don't need it right away unless we have allergies or when we turn on the unit, and there are a lot of dust. The screens could be cleaned with soapy water while they clean the vents when my husband asked about replacement. We find James honest, prompt and personable! My husband and I are very please with his patience in explainging and showing us our system and how it works. We will definitly be calling this company for cleaning. read more

SO satisfied! This is NOT one of those $79 services where they just stick a vacuum down the vents. James fully explained everything they would do - including showing me the bottle of biocide (EPA approved) . Spotless service. They even washed all the vent covers. Took apart my heater and cleaned it. Went under house to inspect duct work. $300 for my 1400 sq ft home was well worth the price. I checked the EPA.gov website - TASK complies with everything! read more

I wanted to have our dryer vent cleaned out. After calling several places (one came and said it was a two person job, then left and refused to come back; others just never returned my calls), Total Air System Kleaning (TASK) was responsive. TASK was not put off by an upstairs laundry room with appliances sitting in a plumbed pan. They were in and out in no time and even gave special consideration since they were later than expected. I'm keeping James Zierolf's business card in my laundry room. TASK are the folks I will call next time I have a vent issue of any kind. Very reasonable and professional. I highly recommend. read more

We moved into our house 7 months ago and I have no idea when the last time the previous owners had the ducts cleaned. I called around to a few places but was impressed with this company because he is certified and stadiums and large businesses use him. He was only $50 more than other quotes but he also charges a flat rate, not based on number of vents like other companies quoted. He was here for 3.5 hours working hard the whole time and even gave us an unsolicited $25 discount because he had rescheduled me last minute. I didn't even mind! Highly recommend him if you want peace of mind that your ducts are cleaned the right way. read more

James Zierolf had years of experience with a major HVAC/furnace/vent cleaning company and then started his own business. He's is totally knowledgeable, has all the necessary expensive equipment, and does careful, craftsman-like work at a very reasonable price (if only I could find a dentist this good!) In addition, he was very helpful and taught me a lot. Next time, I'll have my upstairs neighbors do their furnace/vent cleaning together with mine (the furnaces are in the same garage); maybe James can give us a price-break on the combined job. read more

My husband was sneezing all the time, especially when the heater was running and afterwards. There was dust on the bathroom baseboards, and fixtures that blew from the vents. The heater was just throwing out dust continuously. After James cleaned the heater, and air ducts, my husband stopped sneezing and it was an immediate change. The baseboards are cleaner, my husband is quieter, and I am happy! read more

I highly reccommend these guy's!!! I used them for my dryer duct cleaning, I live in a 2 Story Condo complex, And this Company gave me the best estimate over the phone. I expected the price would go up when the service tech got here, But it did'nt. And James did a great job!!!!!!! read more

For a small job - a dryer vent and exhaust fan in our bathroom exiting from the roof of our single story home - Sears quoted $283 and were booking 10 days out. I have severe allergies and asthma and was understandably a little worried about having our HVAC system cleaned. James reassured me that the process he uses leaves no dust, dirt or irritants in the house. He delivered on that assurance. He did a thorough, detailed and professional air system cleaning at a very reasonable price. He uses a "whisk" system that is safer for vents than brushes and he installed special electrostatic filters in key areas of the house (bedroom and family room). He's very professional and pleasant and I'd recommend TASK to anyone looking for a courteous and conscientious person to clean an HVAC system. read more

My wife an I wanted to have a company clean our furnace vents. We had never had it done in this house and figured it hadn't been done for 53 years. After checking our the reviews of many companies we deicide to use TASK. James did an out standing job and keep his work area clean. I was amazed to see the dirt that came out of your vents. I am sure we will have it done again in about 5 years and not wait for 53 years. I would definitely recommend Task to clean your vents. read more

James drove a long way and arrived my townhouse at 8pm as I told him that I need the service ASAP. He was very friendly and professional. The dryer vent is on the outside wall at 3rd floor and I thought he couldn't reach there. But he managed to climb on the second floor roof first then reached out the vent to unblock the vent door and cleaned the vent. He told me that he would not ask for full charge as my tenant already cleaned the vent inside and he will still give me 1 year warrantee. But I insisted to give him full charge which I think is very reasonable. Finally he gave me a little bit discount. I highly recommend James' T.A.S.K. read more

This company is nothing short of Amazing!!!! We had our heating system stop working about 2 weeks before Christmas. Needless to say it was freezing and we have a four year old. My husband tried to troubleshoot it to no avail. We called Beutler out to do an $89.00 diagnostic. Huge, Huge mistake. They told us the system was in horrible condition, desperately needed to be cleaned, and that that probably wouldn't even help. We should replace the entire 11 year old system which would cost a minimum of at least $12,000. We then decided to call around and found TASK (Total Air System Kleaning). I spoke with James who arranged to come out and take a look. Come to find out, the ONLY thing wrong with the system was a faulty thermostat. James said we could pick one up at Home Depot starting at about $20.00 depending on what we wanted. He even showed us how to change it out. When I asked him what we owed them him, he said, "Nothing, I didn't do anything." This company is the real deal! I can not believe I was lucky enough to stumble upon them. read more
