Kingsada had cleaned and checked vents about a month ago. He had to back a second time as I had some remodeling done and the contractors ran the AC for 13 hours which is a big no no! The entire vent system was clogged with thick construction dust that ended up in the entire house. It not only dirtied up the place but is a health hazard. I recently hired Pristine Air Conditioning & Heating Service to troubleshoot a frustrating clogged dryer exhaust issue that plagued our household and prevented the dryer from completely drying clothes. Finding a reliable, reasonable and professional company to work on home improvement stuff is never easy. Fortunately. with Yelp as a resource and Yelp friends like Daniel C (shout out!)! who happened to be doing the same service helped immensely. I picked Precision Air Vent and Duct cleaning based on reviews and location and so glad I did. Requested a quote via their webpage and received a quote based on approximate square footage and vents within a couple of hours and set a date for an appointment...easy but was a little worried as it WAS too easy...hope they show up! My appointment was set for 10:30 but Steven arrived at 10:15 which is greatly appreciated! Steven was professional, patient with my questions, considerate (my time, my dogs who were locked out, taking off shoes..little things!), efficient, walked me through the job and showed me the 'filth' trapped in the ducts...lots of 'dead dust bunnies' that have been there for years! What I thought would only be a simple cleaning ended up being about a 5.5 hour job as my house is older and never had the ducts cleaned...having dogs and recent construction I figure I better take care of things...especially, items not up to code! There was no hard sell and agreed to additional services (long overdue) which added 3 hrs since Steven was working solo: * Remove fiberglass insulation around the furnace * Replace with new bubblewrap insulation - bring up to code * Disassembled furnace for cleaning (wish I got a pic! There had been a malodorous smell in my bedrooms for months forcing me to sleep on the couch and created a crick in my neck. After cleaning and wiping and cleaning And washing walls windows bedding etc come to find out the smell was coming from the heating vent!!! So the person who sniffed out the problem area suggested I get my air ducts cleaned.. I hired Kingsada after reading yelp reviews and he came was very polite and professional went into my crawl space in full protective gear and took pictures of the damage the "dirty rats" had done to my insulation and ducts! Kingsada is a rare breed amongst service providers. He is all who he claims to be and more. Our dryer was taking forever to dry and we confirmed it was the dryer vent. My dog loved him, so that was a plus also, considering he was coming at him with a big machine. I had just finished a kitchen reno and Kingsada completed all the vent cleaning quickly so I can turn my heater back on in the cold winter. I also had him check my 28 year old furnace and he did not try to up-sell me at all. He told me IT IS an old furnace, but it was kept very clean so with good maintenance I may still have a few more years to go before I need to replace it. Best Job Ever. We just moved into a unit and the dryer was smelling of gas, dryer had heavy condensation and clothes were not drying after 5 hours. We called Pristine Air Duct and the next appointment was in 2 weeks! I must have sounded desperate because Kingsada fit me in between jobs within a few days. He came early to the job and left a little late because of how bad it was. Had to go into the dryer twice and up on the roof twice. I live in a 3 story condo so thats a little hard. The dryer was in bad shape because the vent had not been cleaned in probably a long time. I had to totally clean out lint from dryer components and replace a heat shield that got water damage. Kingsada recommended running the dryer empty to blow out excess lint from vent. It worked like a champ! This was not a typical job and the dryer could have been seriously damaged because the vent was not cleaned often. Clean your vents every year people or risk buying a new dryer AND cleaning the vent anyway. Life is surprising. Who'd have thought I'd say "I have an air duct cleaning company," like "I have an auto mechanic," "I have a podiatrist," etc. But that's exactly what I have. First, they cleaned the ducts of the home I grew up in, which I'm converting to a rental. Based on that, they cleaned my house which was a much bigger project since the house is about 3 times the size with more intake registers, longer duct runs, and ceiling-based ducts in the second story. No pets escaped, none got into the ducts as first floor registers were removed. Kingsada shines through as a wonderful human being, and that translate to how he conducts himself and treats my homes. I recently moved into a new house and wanted to clean the ducts before using the heater. I contacted Pristine Air Duct Cleaning through their website and received an email from Kingsada the next day. After setting up an appointment, he came on time, did the cleaning, and pointed out to me that the furnace in my house had likely not been maintained in years by the previous owner, as he found a lot of dog hair and dust in it. The furnace is in an awkward position in the crawlspace, but Kingsada was able to clean the internal compartments of the furnace thoroughly and did a great job. King [the owner] came to inspect my vent last week and gave me an estimate to add a booster fan to my dryer vent. I was incorrect in my assumption that he wasn't able to get under the house because the access door was locked. There was another that he was able to access [I wasn't aware that it was a part of my unit] and was able to inspect the vent. He followed up with me promptly and did not charge for the inspection. I'm still debating whether to add the booster fan or move the vent to a different location altogether to make it easier to access. I would reccommend this business to anyone who needs air duct cleaning. We need to have our ducts cleaned because we have cats. We also had our dry vent cleaned. The technican arrived at the arrange time. He completed the work and left areas he work in clean and in order. He discovered are dryer vent was not adequately secured. JR and his sidekick (sorry, missed his name) came out today to clean out our ducts. They came on time and made a good first impression with a positive attitude and a friendly handshake. They cleaned out our ducts, taped up the gaps at the vent openings, cleared the clothes dryer duct, and it all came off without a hitch. These guys know how to work: fast but not frantic, staying loose and joking around a little, taking time to shoot the breeze with us and give us some useful information about the duct situation. The rates were very reasonable and they didn't try to upsell a lot of extras. They got along good with my dog and said she was "cool" so I respect their taste in pets. My dog can tell the good workmen from the slackers and jerks and she gave them her seal of approval almost right away. The best thing is these guys have got like the best attitude of any contract workers I've run into. Hard to put your finger on it but they're courteous, straightforward and honest, they don't take themselves too seriously, they show respect for the customer, respect for their home, and talk to you as a friend or neighbor, unlike some workmen who act like they know it all and the customer is kind of lame and uninformed. We had a lot of problems with the ductwork under our house and it needed a full replacement before a cleaning of the upper floor ducts could even be done. We also needed a new furnace. I was quoted by COIT and then upon looking under the house, they said they couldn't even do the work. I called JR and he did a thorough inspection, being very patient with my kids who were at his heels watching and learning the entire time. His guys came and did the work in one day. EVERYTHING.
