He explained how he was diagnosing the situation and the process of elimination he was going through to get to the bottom of the issue. I especially appreciated that as a woman that loves learning about how things work. Jose answered all my questions and had some great analogies to explain the plumbing situation. I also appreciated that there was no upselling. Jose was clear about the tiers of support and associated costs and was honest about his recommendations and what would help. In the end, my plumbing issues were resolved at a reasonable price. I felt like I got five star service AND I learned a bit about how my kitchen plumbing works. Great service all around!

The technician, Salvador G. came early, on time. He called me to let me know he's on his way. He fixed the plumbing problem, the tenant was very happy with the work. Salvador called me to Let me know the work was finished, sent me pictures via email of before and after the Job. This young man was very kind, polite and most of all knowledgeable of any kind of plumbing problem. He sent me the description and invoice of the work done. The job was done on schedule and at a very fair price. I highly recommend this company for plumbing and also for HVAC. They also installed a new furnace heater 2 months ago, they did a great job and completed the job on time... thank you for the great service!!!

Do not let them do the $79.00 "inspection"! They found an actual problem (small drip from very old…read moregalvanized water pipe). We got bids on a "pex" replacement and when we told them theirs was too high the bid was magically lowered. We were the fools who took the lowest bid. What we thought was a "repiping" of our house turned out to be a "partial repiping." So the drip was fixed but a lot of old galvanized piping remains. And here's the bad news: the new pex piping was inadequately attached to the floor joists under the house and the installer removed many sections of furnace ducting to work down there and run the new piping. So we found that one of our heater registers had no heat/no attachment to the furnace duct! Hot air blowing into the crawl space.... So we have paid someone to reattach the piping and the ducts. And when the "new piping" was done I subscribed to the annual maintenance agreement. This is a total scam! No work is done under this agreement. It is only an opportunity for Albert Nahman "technicians" to try to up sell various filters and improvement systems. And the "inspector" missed the heating duct problem.... Avoid the big yellow truck! Do not let these guys into your house!

Wondering about the $800 charge to replace the disposal, I went online to check the Home Depot cost of the disposal (between $200 and $400; probably $200, but I can't be sure as Ivan hustled the packaging out the door ASAP), and realized I'd been grossly and shamelessly overcharged. So I phoned Mauro's Plumbing to come re-check the toilet. Jose and Anthony came out today, checked carefully, and told me there was no problem at all; and they refused to let me pay them a penny for their visit. What a contrast! I have unnecessarily paid around $500 (plus the threat of $375 more). There was a sign where I used to work: "Don't make the same mistake others have made"!

He wasn't able to return with the needed parts in time to complete the job on that Friday, so he came out Saturday morning to finish the work. He was able to carefully extract the old (VERY old!) shower valve through a smallish hole, and install the new gear, so we didn't have to re-tile any of the shower enclosure. My only quibble is that he wasn't very transparent about how much of his quote was for parts vs the labor, so it was not easy to consider upgrading from a Delta valve to a different make. Overall, I'll definitely call him again when I need a plumber.

We discovered this issue as we were replacing the caulking to our bath tub. We told him numerous times that we had just removed the caulking. During his "inspection" he started running the water from our shower head but then he proceeded to point the shower head straight on the crevice where there is no longer caulking and say "see this is the issue!" Now there is a ton of water behind our wall in even more places then we had originally. He's a terrible communicator, constantly was interrupting, and couldn't articulate any of his reasons for anything. He was just guessing at what the issues were and hoping we would agree to start opening things up so we'd have to pay him. We were better off not having him show up at all.

Top Level: Initial screw-up, great recovery…read more Atlas heating installed our furnace nearly 20 years ago and it has worked well until recently. We started having problems with it, so we had a technician come out to perform preventative maintenance. However, less than a week later, it died completely and I could not revive it. I called Atlas, thinking that I would be a priority for service, assuming they would stand behind their work. Instead I was told that I could not get scheduled for service until 5 days later, and the money I had spent on the maintenance was essentially forfeit, as I would receive no credit towards the repairs. Instead, I went with a different company that diagnosed and repaired the problem two days later. After the rather disappointing interaction with Atlas, the owner called and was mortified at how I was treated. She was extremely apologetic and offered to not only refund the cost of the preventative maintenance, but tried to give me even more money for the poor handling of my case. While I did accept the refund, I did not think it fair to take more money. We parted on good terms and when it comes time to replace my furnace (in the near future), Atlas will definitely be part of the process. I would leave five stars, but have to deduct one for the initial poor handling of my case.

We decided to hire ATLAS for the job: the furnace was old, and the original roof ducting did a lousy job distributing the heat throughout the house. I was always cold even when the heat was "blasting". ATLAS did a thorough and patient analysis of our old system. They decided to double up the ducts to provide more air flow, and they also organized the flow inside the ducts: it worked. Frankly, the final cost was reasonable, considering the benefits I am getting from it. I particularly recommend Nick and Scott who supervised the project: they really looked into the project, then fixed the problem. Plus: the work was clean, and the communication great all along. Happy customer :-)

I called several electrician's hoping to get a same day appointment and was not having much luck. When Esed answered my call he asked me several questions about what happened and what my panel looked like then proceeded to walk me through how to force reset over the phone. His kindness in walking me through it over the phone not only saved me the cost of having an electrician come out at short notice but also saved me from a cold night without a working furnace. Esed could have charged me for an in-person fix but instead offered to help me on a call.
