I must add to all the 5-star reviews here. I was looking through a friend's reviews and I saw that she had used Aaron at AJ Services for Dryer Vent Cleaning. This had been on my list to do for ages so I thought, let's just get going on this. I saw that I could message through Yelp, so I sent a message at 8:51 a.m. with my cell phone number for contact. I stated I wanted my dryer vent cleaned and that it vented to the roof. Aaron texted me at 8:55 a.m. Four minutes later!! Talk about prompt response! Aaron was very straightforward with his pricing, he has a set fee for the service with an additional fee for rooftop vents. I said I'd like to go forward and he said he was working in my area midday and could come around 1:30-2pm. I told him I wouldn't be home, but my husband would and he offered to text him to let him know when he would be there, so that's what he did! Aaron cleaned out years worth of gunk from my vent. He said it was about 50-60% reduced air flow (I knew something was wrong because my clothes weren't drying in one dryer cycle). Aaron also found that the clamp attaching the hose on the back of my dryer was really too big and so there was lint/dust escaping so he replaced it with a smaller one for only $3! He only charged for the part. What a thorough and honest guy. All I can say is - get your dryer vent cleaned by this guy! I have had ongoing issues with my dryer not drying, and after multiple vent cleaning services came out to resolve the issue it didn't seem to do the job. Aaron responded immediately upon my request via text for a quote to clean the dryer vent duct. He outlined the complete process in the quote and we scheduled a time in 2 days. He texted 30 minutes before saying he will be 10 min late and he arrived promptly after and complete the cleaning (80% clogged) in about an hour with several pass throughs. He explained how the clogging occurred and fixed a few issues with the outside vent outlet. Now our LG dryer works like a champ without the D80 error code. We just moved into a new house, and on the first day our dryer set the fire alarm set off, as the hose was not hooked up to the dryer vent . So I called Aaron, and he removed I believe 20 years of lint build up in the dryer vent. So our dryer was back to working condition. Aaron and his team came out and spent 2 hours cleaning our dryer vent duct as they found it odd that my duct is not getting enough pressure through. In the end, he got into the crawl space and found that one of the elbow joints was not connected with screws and have disconnected. Apparently our house's builder was being shoddy with their work (surprise) and only used aluminum tape instead of screws to fasten the 90 degree elbow. (They should also have tied the elbow to the beam so it is not weighting down on the joint) I really appreciate his professionalism and thoroughness with his job. I think most other people would have just come and vacuum out a bagful of lint and call it a day instead of spending hours to debug the problem. The wife had been complaining for a while that the dryer wasn't working. We hadn't cleaned the dryer vents in 25 years, so was pretty sure that was the problem. Pretty close to on time, no problem - boy has to eat lunch! Arrived with his buddy ready to do the job. Showed him the offending dryer and he got down to business. Aaron hooked up the vacuum to the dryer hose and his buddy cleaned out the vent with the drill and brush from outside. A ton of lint and crap inside. A bird once nested in the vent and there was still remnants of the damn nest like twigs and branches they pulled out. He put everything back, cleaned up and tested the dryer. I was looking for someone to help with all the second floor gutters that have been piling up since the previous house owner.
