It's been a minute since I've had legit Cajun style crawfish so I had to get my fix while I was in Bellevue. As it's located in a strip mall parking is easy. We decided to get the combo 5 which is good for 2-3 people. It included (1lb of crawfish, jumbo snow crab, shrimp, corn, potatoes) and we added sausage. Everything was good but I have to say Boiling Crab is still my #1 (sorry) however with that said, there was nothing left at the end so you know we still liked it. I was initially skeptical as other "crawfish boil" places have overcooked the seafood, but after one visit, I went back the next day again! My wife and I tried their Combo #1 as a "take it for the team" to try out this new-ish place in Bellevue. It was delicious with their Cajun spice mild. The sauce was much more umami than a typical Cajun seasoning. Did we taste Vietnamese fish sauce and lemon grass? It was nevertheless loaded with garlic and finger-licking yumminess. Service was exemplary. After taking our order, the server came with a basket of gloves (excellent quality that didn't develop holes even with spiky crawfish!!), bibs, lime slices and a little plastic cup of additional spice in case we thought we thought it needed supplementing. Soon enough, the seafood came in a bag with all the goodness sealed inside on a stainless steel tray. We cut it open with the scissors provided and our mouths instantly salivate with the aroma. Freshly boiled, it was all scalding hot but we dig in anyway. The shrimp were large, juicy and fresh. We elected for the head-on as the best part was to pull the head off and suck out the head coral. This was where the Crawfish Chef lost a star.... they did not de-vein the shrimp and on many of them, you got a mouthful of grit if you didn't clean it after taking the shell off. Check out the YouTube videos on the easiest and quickest way to de-vein shrimp. I promise you its really easy and a step that you really need to take. The next night, we were back with company and had the larger Combo #7 and added a pound of clams as another review said that the clams were the best thing. They were really out of this world. Huge, sweet, and perfectly cooked. The snow crab clusters and legs were huge and meaty. Almost King Crab sized. The Dungeness Crabs pieces were just as good. We got one and a half crabs in the bag. So, a very good-sized serving for 4 of us even though the Combo #7 was billed as a meal for 3 - 4. We will be back! read more

This is just a garbage bag of food served in the most disgusting way. I'm not sure how to eat this without getting covered in it even the dog doesn't want to contend with it. We did taste some shrimp which was OK, but did not taste so fresh we had the chicken wings That also tasted like old chicken not bad but not fresh either looking at the corn it does not look in good condition. I asked for it mild it is not mild. I grew up on the East Coast loving seafood, but this is disgusting and it is not high-quality. You can just see about half the kernels on the corn are rotted. Honestly, one of the best restaurants i've been to, and there is DEFINITELY a memorable night in store for you if you heed my advice to check this flava partay out. wicka-wicka-word. I pride myself on my hip language, and connection to young folk. I just get them. This restaurant, however, has classics and pioneering recipes in store for "uncs" and "jits" alike. The crawfish was great, but much of its appeal was in its cultural value as a hillbilly classic. I say this because the organs aren't very tasty even for the bold, so eaters are relegated to the smallish tail. Flavor is like a less tender, more flavorful shrimp. The Dungeness crab was delicious, and was cooked perfectly, coming off of shell in large, buttery clods. Call this restaurant a costco the way it be full of weirdly huge fans, like yours truly. I ordered the crab and crawfish in the impeccable immersion of an intrepid house sauce, with recognizable character rivaling Ramsay's Wellington. I wish I could buy this sauce by the tub, and bathe in it, hoping to gain even a fraction of its golden magnificence in my bones. The shrimp was delicious, and I recommend head on, as it carries a pertinent bang/buck ratio what with the head's nice flavor. I had this in the cajun sauce, which I garunTEE will inspire hitting a reserved jig. You may not be getting LIT, per-say, but could at least be getting embered, or warmed. "You don't know me, son!", I said intimidatingly in response to my waitress asking what spice level of the two boil sauces I wanted. Suffice it to say...I was sobbing and wailing loudly upon trying that sweet sweet sauce.
