Recently had lunch here with a friend. Love that the restaurant is on Lake Bellevue! Spacious interior and great service with plenty of parking. Lots of seafood boil options to choose from, and other menu items as well!

Bottom of the receipt from Crab Pot in Bellevue.

Patrons!!! Please be careful on what you purchase. Reason: the tip does not match the actual purchase. The bottom of the receipt tells the story..."before discounts and after taxes." If the restaurant messed up on a dish, they will comp the dish, but it will be considered as a discount. You will be taxed for something you did not eat. Twenty percent SHOULD have been ~$4.00 less than what was shown on the receipt. Not sure if I am coming back anyway. Food had no flavor.

This place was nothing short of amazing! We had such a fun time. It was the first time my kids had ever tried crab and dine at the Crab Pot. We enjoyed all of it! Such a chill relaxing environment and the best place for kids to get as messy as they please and eat with their hands! Our server did an excellent job as well by making it extra special for my son's birthday We will definitely be back for more celebrations here.

The Clambake Seafeast

Sea feast was a treat. Service was great. Tiffany and Amya were so sweet and made the experience fun! This is not formal dining- it's an investment in quality food. The salmon skewers were cooked to perfection. Also one of the best clam chowders I have had in Seattle! Great option if you want to avoid paying parking in Seattle. Will be coming back!

I prefer this location than the downtown one! My friend brought me here and the water view just calms me down. The food was however disappointing as it lack some flavor. Service was great but for view's sake this is a quieter, much aesthetically pleasing than the crowded tourist spots/location!

I love a place with a unique experience, and The Crab Pot delivers. If you order a "Feast," you get a bib and mallet, and they pour the seafood into the middle of the table on butcher paper! This location has a great view, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We started with drinks, which came out quickly and were freshly made. I had a classic margarita. I then had an order of Oysters Rockefeller, which I enjoyed. They were warm and creamy and perfect to dip bread into. My dad and I ordered "The Clambake" feast for two. It was an assortment of clams, oysters, crabs, and more. The clams, oysters, and mussels were great, but the crab was a little dry - I imagine it's hard to time all the different seafood cooking times in one pot. The feast had plenty of butter, and wearing the bib and eating with my hands was fun. We ordered the Mud Pie for dessert, which was a colossal piece of pie! It was smothered in whipped cream and had crunchy almonds on the outside. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would return to try a different "Feast."

This was my second time visiting this location. The wait isn't as long as the downtown location and the servers are better able to meet the needs of large parties. Be sure to ask for the happy hour menu and sit outside if the weather permits.

The place isn't that busy, fine by me I like it quiet. The handicapped entrance isn't without stairs that I could see. You walk up the ramp and in the door, then you have to go up a few stairs to a table. I had the Louie salad, my friend had calamari and fries. Both were pretty good. I'm extremely picky with my salads. Lots of seafood on the salad and it was pretty fresh. Service was good and everything looked clean.

The service was nice, the food was subpar. The idea of dumping the food in the table threw me off and the food got cold. Our butter hardened up sooner than expected but they gave us new butter.

We went to the Crab pot in Bellevue, it was my dad's 90th birthday. We had a special back room, which the table was set up amazing that they did. The service was wonderful, Jeremiah took care of our huge crowd and didn't skip a beat. Thank you Crab pot and Crab pot employees for a wonderful memorable night for my dad !!!!!!! We even had so much fun it was an hour after they closed we felt bad but thank you so much for your hospitality

The Alaskan for 2 (Really 1.5 if that)

This is the sister location to the one located on the waterfront which is where I dined in the past. The location is under major construction in the parking lot and front of the restaurant. Once you make it inside, the location has a rustic feel and has patio seating out the back which overlooks the water. As far as the service, it leaves quite a bit to be desired. During the time there, heard multiple staff members complaining amongst themselves and often just chatting since the restaurant was not very busy. It definitely was quite the opposite from prior visits to the waterfront location. Often had to wait to flag down another server in order to get drink refills. Now to the food. Ordered The Alaskan, which is the same thing we got in the past, and while the price has gone up, the portion size paled in comparison. Not sure if it was a location difference, or if it has really shrunk that much. I'd have to say 35-40% less, and the seafood was mostly overcooked. Was disappointed to say the least as enjoyed the prior visits. May have to head back to the waterfront location and wait 90+ min. to see if that experience and portion size has changed. I would not visit this location again

Royal Feast seafood boil

Group of 4 that came for a Sunday lunch. We got four servings of the royal feast. An amazing seafood boil. Everything was delicious! They supply you with bib, cracker hammer, claw crackers for smaller bits and a small fork to dig out the yumminess. Would recommend to everyone and already want to go back. The drunk bunny rum drink was a great drink!

Beautiful Sunset of Bellevue WA on the lake. Good-quality crab for a Dinner Date for 2 or a family. A must-visit when in the 425/206 area.

I loved the variety of sauces and the staff's help in picking exactly what we wanted. We paired them with different types of drinks that complemented the flavors very well. For our entrées, we all ordered the Sea Bass given the high remarks we had heard, and it did not disappoint at all. It was delicious and definitely worth the price point. The space is overall excellent with a variety of seating, and the location right in Bellevue Square is perfect. Good food and great vibes!

Perfectly salted butter, and the taste reminded me of sourdough but the texture of the bread itself was like a very crispy crunchy outer layer over a martin's potato roll. - The Grand (3/5): I learned that I am definitely not a shellfish person.. so keep in mind of my biased take! I wish the waiter explained what came on our plate, but he quickly scooted away. The scallops were my favorite. Nice and mild and sweet flavor. The grand also came with 6 sauces to pair. Wasn't sure which sauce went best with which, but doesn't hurt to try? shell on shrimp and lobster claw were the second and third bests in my opinion. - Grilled Black-eyed Perch (4/5): got a smaller 1.2 lb fish. Can get it grilled and fried. Fried is ~$4 more. This fish was around 38-39/lb at the time of writing. Flavors were so great! Not a bony fish at all and didn't have to really pick at it. A tad dry in certain parts, but again, nice salty, zesty from the lemon and herbaceous. This place is definitely on the $$$ side, so can see ppl coming here for special occasions.

Our waitress was incredibly attentive and seemed to anticipate exactly what we needed, bringing out napkins, extra limes, and tools before we even had to ask. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, and there is plenty of parking since it is located in a shared complex with other stores. It's nice that Crawfish Chef is fairly close to where I live. My party of 5 came here at 1:45pm on a Sunday. Parking was plentiful at this time in the strip mall. I was surprised at how many people were there considering it was just past lunchtime, but we were able to get seated immediately. The menu has the usual Viet-Cajun flare, where you want to eat seafood boil or items cooked from the kitchen. I noticed that there was the option to order headless shrimp for those of you who are squeamish about shrimp heada. I ordered a pound of head-on shrimp with added corn tossed in House Sauce at Medium Spicy. The shrimp had nice texture, the corn was sweet and the sauce was pretty decent. We were provided gloves which was very nice. The server was very attentive and refilled my drink when she saw it was getting low. Overall, we had a nice experience and thought this place was pretty solid. If I had one suggestion it would be to have a stock of wet naps considering that this is the type of establishment where you eat with your hands and there is no sink outside of the bathroom.

What a beautiful space with even better food and a phenomenal team!…read more Food & drink: (5/5) My partner surprised me with a dinner here for Valentine's Day since it has been on both of our lists to try. Only he has had Peruvian food before so we opted for the prefix V-Day menu to make decision making a little easier. I wish I noted the exact items, but I believe we got a nori cone with fresh fish on top, hamachi crudo, crab ravioli, braised beef with mashed potatoes and veggies, chocolate mousse, and chocolate covered strawberries. Every single item was DELICIOUS with absolutely zero notes from either of us. Our favorite had to be the crudo with the vibrant orange, tangy sauce. Their seafood is all incredibly fresh. For drinks, we got the maracuya sour and hanami whisper. Both drinks were a bit stronger than we expected but we enjoyed them nonetheless. They also had inca kola, though our server did have to check to see if they even carried it. It's a Peruvian soda that tastes exactly like bubblegum. Worth a try! Service: (5/5) Given we were there are such a busy night, the team was absolutely incredible. They were so attentive without being overbearing. More conversational but not in a creepy way haha. Other notes: There's a parking garage below the restaurant. You may have to walk around the building to get back up to the restaurant entrance but it's not too hard to find. Definitely make a reservation if you can.

However, I wish he would have clearly explained that the executive lunch was for the whole table, not just individual. Also, cleaning our table while we are still there is a bit rude in my opinion, almost feel like they are rushing us out. The place is fancy and very very pricey. We did a belated Christmas gift exchange with friends recently and our friends made reservations here. So glad they did! It's literally right down in the main Bellevue Square hub, so we were able to easily park at the mall and make a short walk to Castilla. Vibes were perfect with low lighting but still a bustling atmosphere. Our server (unfortunately forgot his name) kept solid recommendations coming all night and was so funny and personable! As this is a tapas spot, we tried quite a few dishes and split them amongst the table. Mixta Paella: our server promised us that the smaller size paella was good for 2-4 people and man he was RIGHT. The portion was absolutely insane and I don't think we even finished all of it. Everything tasted so fresh and there was so much flavor to the dish. They warn you ahead of time, but plan for the paella to take 30 minutes for them to prepare. Grilled Octopus Leg: Every time I have octopus (which is two times now LOL) I'm a little worried about the texture, but it was prepared beautifully here and the sauce that it was in was delicious. Salmon & Artichoke Dip: I'm a sucker for any type of artichoke dip and this was no exception. Creamy, rich, and great flavor! Beef Medallions: Tender and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. Chorizo & Onion Empanada: Another banger. So crispy and the filling was so good! I actually was on the fence about this one but my husband insisted, and it was a good choice. Patatas Aioli: Crispy layered potato with a garlic aioli? I mean, come on. You can't go wrong. Delicious. This was our first visit to Castilla and I'm sure it won't be the last - would definitely return if I'm dining up again in Bellevue!
