    Grapefruit cocktail, was good.

We stopped into Wild Ginger at Lincoln Square in Bellevue and had a mixed experience. The restaurant itself was fairly quiet at the bar, with very few people seated, though the dining room was more active. Despite the lack of bar traffic, service was surprisingly slow, which was a bit frustrating. Food-wise, it was hit or miss. The vegetarian/tofu Pad Thai was very good and easily the highlight of the meal. The potstickers were also solid and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes fell short. The crispy wings were overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor, and the cabbage salad was completely bland. Overall, the food was just okay. A couple of standout items helped, but the slow service and several underwhelming dishes made this a pretty average experience. Not terrible, but not memorable either--especially compared to another restaurant we had visited earlier that evening.

    Cracked coconut martini my favorite!!!

Such a great experience from start to finish. We had a reservation and were seated immediately at a clean table, even though the place was packed for a Friday night. The ambience was perfect, moody lighting, cozy vibes, and we were seated near the bar where it wasn't too loud at all. We even had a heater next to us which kept us warm and made it extra comfortable. Service was smooth and timely. Our drinks came out quickly, followed by our appetizers and then our entrées without any long waits in between. Everything flowed perfectly. The cracked coconut martini was my absolute favorite. So good. The potstickers were amazing, and the butter chicken was awesome. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. It felt like such a well done, relaxed dinner out. We'll definitely be coming back to try new items.

Im really surprised by the ratings of this place!!! I thought it was super delicious Thai food. We were a group of 3 and we didn't have to wait for a table at all which was great and we ordered a bunch of different food to share. The spring rolls were great and the lettuce wraps were super fresh. The most stunning food was the sea bass though but the steak was also delicious. Honestly everything was super flavorful and delicious!

Wild Ginger is a long-standing Seattle staple, known for serving upscale Southeast Asian cuisine in the heart of Downtown and Bellevue. However, during my most recent lunch visit, I had one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences that I have had in a long time. Despite having a 12:30 PM reservation on a Monday and arriving promptly to a nearly empty dining room, it still took ten minutes just to be seated. The service was so lackluster that we seriously contemplated walking out multiple times. After being handed menus, we sat for fifteen minutes before a single staff member approached us. We had no water, no way to ask questions about the menu, and no server in sight. When our server finally did appear, he offered no apology or acknowledgment of the delay, nor did he bring water to the table. As for the menu itself, everything is really expensive. I understand Wild Ginger presents itself as an upscale restaurant, but nothing is really that special or fancy about it. All of the dishes are pretty standard and don't have any sort of creative twist. A chicken fried rice, one of the most basic dishes, is already 24 dollars. After tip and tax, that becomes 30 dollars just for fried rice. Also, having looked at pictures online, most of the portions looked really small for the price. Although some dishes sounded more interesting, I opted for the pad thai, simply because I wanted to ensure I would feel full after spending 30 dollars. After putting in our order, we waited another 40 minutes for the food to come out. There were only four of us dining, and each of us only ordered one dish, so there really wasn't a good reason for everything to take so long. The pad thai came out lukewarm. I didn't try everyone else's food, but I was severely disappointed by this. I imagine the food was sitting in the back for some time, getting cold. However, the taste and flavor of the pad thai wasn't bad. The noodles were bouncy and chewy with a nice crunchy contrast from the peanuts. The sauce was nice and tangy with a balanced sweet and citrus flavor that coated the noodles really well. This was the only redeeming factor of the entire experience. It ended up being a bit too much food, and I wanted to take it to go. Once again, our server was nowhere to be found. He wasn't the one to run our food to our table, and he never checked in on us at any point after we got our food. Since there was barely anyone at the restaurant, I was confused as to what he could have been doing. One busser came by our table to pick up some plates, and we asked him if he could bring us some boxes. He said he would, then disappeared and never came back. Eventually, it got so bad that we had to stand up and approach a staff member at the front to ask for boxes and the bill. Shortly after, our server came to our table and said he didn't know we were in a rush and offered to box our food up for us. But instead, we just asked him to bring the boxes to us and get us the check. Somehow, the whole experience just for lunch took right around two hours. I assume the restaurant was understaffed, but that doesn't excuse the complete lack of presence during the entire service. While the food itself remains decent, there are many other options that offer similar food with far better experiences for half the price. Especially for lunch, I wouldn't recommend Wild Ginger, and I won't be coming back any time soon.

Been coming here for years...although not often. Food has always been good, except for Thanksgiving dinner last year when we decided to eat out for Thanksgiving instead of cooking. We decided to go back to cooking this year. Service has always been good. Reservations recommended. The place can get a bit loud, but vibe is always good. Just want to add some more pics.

My new go-to special occasion spot. Wild Ginger checks every box that I can think. The interior is moody and comfortable, the service is fast, and the staff are kind. We have tried every area of the menu and have been more than satisfied. I have to give a special shoutout to the butter chicken. I don't know if its because I'm mostly white but oh my gosh it's so good I have to get it every time. The desserts are also done very well and hit the spot. I love Wild Ginger and will keep coming back.

Ambiance 4/5 -- Nice bar setting and decor Service 4/5 -- Efficient service, no complaints Food 4/5 -- 7 Flavor Beef was so tender and well-seasoned! Highlight dish of the night. Pad Thai was good, Papaya salad was refreshing and balanced. The Potstickers were tasty, and the Lychee Cooler was enjoyable, but I wasn't impressed with either. I'd come back for the 7 Flavor Beef and to try other dishes!

A Saturday dinner around 6 with a reservation, for two. Friendly staff at the door. We ordered our drinks and the following - bok choy, beef satay, Indian butter chicken and the 7 flavor beef. Our drinks - thai chili margarita and yuzu mule. The food was good, the 7 flavor beef looked like the most ordered as we could see that being served on many tables while we were there. The Indian butter chicken was nice and creamy but sweet. Our waiter was good. We didn't have space for the desserts and had to leave without trying that out. Would definitely recommend the drinks and food we had and visit once again.

    Delicious and moist chicken potstickers.

We went needed a place to celebrate my wife''s birthday. We chose Wild Ginger in Bellevue, OUTSTANDING. We had a wide variety of Asian fusion food, everything was perfectly cooked and wonderful family style portions that easy fed 5 adults. Service was outstanding, even with a packed house.

So, the food was very flavorful. Mongolian beef noodles were so good, the chicken wings were GREAT, the lettuce cups wee Phad Thai in lettuce. All were on the verge of too salty but I love heavy flavors so it was good with me. We were the only table seated in the bar and the service was strange. Noodles didn't come out for a long time and when i asked about them I was told they were the main dish and I had the appetizers first. Okayyyyy well for the only table there we waited a bit for the main dish. Nobody came to gi

The ambiance of this place is top notch. Great decor and clean. Service was a bit slow at 4pm on a Tuesday, but took a few minutes for someone tossing eat us (might just be starting a shift). The food didn't match the restaurant. We ordered pad Thai, fried rice, and tofu eggplant dish. Everything tasted too salty. Togo and eggplant were drenched in sauce. Fried rice was too salty. Pad Thai was very salty and had too much flavor. The mango Palmer was too sweet and we had to dilute it with water. A bit disappointed.

Ambient and service was 5 stars, food was 4 and price was 3.5. The servings were very large. I ordered the chicken wings appetizer and it was stuffy for party of 4-5. Super crunchy, moist on the inside and has good sauce and flavor. I really enjoyed it. The Mongolian noodles were tasty, quite spicy and enjoyed the variety of veggies in it. The 'char' flavor makes the noodles flavorful and have more depth without too much sauce. It is more like a dry stir fry. The duck was flavorful but I have had better. Maybe because I love duck and ordered them whenever I can so I have pretty high expectations. The flavor is more on the savory side vs the more caramel y/sweet flavor from traditional Chinese duck place. It has more spices like five spice and like I said, is more salty than sweet. Many might like it this way better. Likely a personal preference. The buns and sauces were fun to eat with. The half is more than enough to share if you are ordering other dishes. The spring roll was tasty, only 3, a little small but overall appreciate the vegan offerings including the Mongolian noodles that is great for vegetarian diners.
