They served us garlic noodles with a hint of mold... both my girlfriend and I are sick the day after we ate it... we both had a feeling after having a few bites that it tasted moldy like blue cheese. I haven't ate here for years and tried to give it another chance and they failed me. lol probably the last time I'll ever be back tbh

We have been meaning to come here for years and finally had the chance early on a Friday night. Go early enough and enjoy the Happy Hour!! Save room though. The food is great and there's a lot of it! As it was our first time there we got a couple baskets of appetizers, a Catfish Po Boy Sandwich, and a basket of crawfish and chips. As excellent as all of this way, we did it wrong. Get the boil. We were the only table to not get the silver bowls filled with corn, potatoes, and seafood. Get. The. Boil. This restaurant is known for it's seafood boils, offer great prices on the seafood, and often run a special on pounds of a certain kind. Get the boil. We've talked to a few friends and will be back to tackle those silver bowls filled with hot and steamy goodness (also the fried pickles though because they were too good to skip).

Love coming here whenever I get a craving for solid seafood boil. The staff are always super friendly and we love joking around with them. We were seated immediately and able to think about ordering as soon as we walked in. We ordered that week's special: 3 pounds of crawfish. We also added a few pounds of clams to go with that. Got it 3 stars with the house sauce. The crawfish were decent size and had great spice and flavor. The clams were also delicious but about 1/4 of them were closed.

They came back better than ever! Fresh seafood, great service as always, and great appetizers and drinks! I ordered 2 lbs of pacific crawfish and their dungie crab deal that was going for $25 a crab. The crawfish was sooo fresh! And some of them had roe in it. Their house sauce is like no other house sauce in WA! The customer service was great as usual. I can't wait to come back!

Pros: they know how to make awesome seafood boil! Good quality seafood. Tango sauce is a must try! Cons: no reservation so wait can be long at times. It's worth the wait though! Parking can be tricky since there are many restaurants nearby.

This place was great! We got 2lbs of snow crab, and 1lb of shrimp with potatoes and the original house sauce. I think all of it was delicious, and we would definitely go again! Plenty of food for 2 people. The service was a bit slow, but friendly.

Craving seafood boil? Crawfish house is a pretty solid spot to satisfy those cravings! The clams and crawfish was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. My mouth is still watering thinking about how flavorful everything was. I was really impressed by the service here. Our server was not only attentive to us but also super funny! It made my bestie and i first time here a great one. Also! If you're like me and hate getting your hands dirty, this place offers you good quality gloves to keep them clean. So if you haven't checked this place out yet.... RUN, don't walk!

I haven't found an amazing seafood boil place yet so I do think Crawfish House may be one of the best around Seattle, but it wasn't that spectacular. I'm not sure why, but seafood boil around here hasn't quite wow'd me despite our vicinity to the waters and having amazing fish and clam chowder. Service is solid though, I'll give them that. We were recommended the tango sauce by a friend but our waiter insisted the house sauce was way better and the tango was "sour" and persuaded us to opt for the house sauce. Honestly, the sauce didn't impress and was a large pool of oil at the bottom of our boil. Dipping was alright, but it wasn't spread well to showoff the spices to our taste buds, overall the sauce was underwhelming and greasy. For spice levels, we asked for 3* but it was really mild, something near a 1.5* and also underwhelming. Began with some appetizers too, we ordered at happy hour where the prices should be cheaper, but weren't discounted. Honestly, it was whatever and the appetizers were standard. Opted for the cajun fries and onion rings, both weren't surprising and nothing bad to report. 4 pounds of seafood total: both crawfish options, snow crab, and shrimp. Louisiana Red Crawfish - sweeter crawfish like they mention, but small in size. Not overly sweet or anything, not that you'd expect that, but tasty. Pacific (Signal) Crawfish - seasonal crawfish that's larger, looks more intimidating, and meatier. I liked this one more, it felt more efficient as I got more meat for similar effort and it tasted fine, wasn't bad or anything just less sweet. Snow Crab - my personal favorite, but I love crab so there's some bias. Very easy to get the meat out and they're great sizes as well, being crab legs. Shrimp - these were probably the worst tasting option here. They tasted "like the sea" and had sand in them. The only pro was that they're easy to peel and eat, but shrimp is better anywhere else. Also got French bread, dipping in the sauce was alright but once again, the sauce wasn't anything special. It was mostly like tasting bread with olive oil on top, maybe our sauce was skimping on the special spices. Tagged on some potatoes and sausages with the order - potatoes are nice and tender. Sausages are juicy, but they are small slices

Came in on a Wednesday evening we were one of 3 parties. So it was pretty dead Ambiance: 3.5/5 lots of seating, music was kinda loud and played a bunch of cover songs of the top hit 100's which I thought was kinda weird. They also played a cover of league of legends music. Uhh? Anyway it wasn't too loud to where I couldn't have a conversation but if this place was packed I can imagine it being a little harder to have hear conversations between people. Service: 5/5 friendly! Got seated immediately they Checked in on us twice which was really all we needed since we were busy grubbin on the food. Food: - Fried cat fish basket: 5/5 love the breading on the fried catfish ! It was crispy and hot when it came out. The fries were crispy and thin with cajun seasoning exactly how I like it. - The seafood boil: 3.8/5 Got the House sauce (garlic, butter, lCajun seasoning ) with 1lb snow crab 1lb shrimp 2corn/2 potatoes ($2.50) I feel like the shrimp was defrosted prior to being seafood boiled. Didn't taste too fresh but boy they were HUGE "golf" shrimp is what they were serving. The snow crab was enough to fill me up! They came with a pair of scissors which was odd cause I'm used to nut crackers to crack the snow crab legs, but it still helped. The amount I got including the cat fish basket was totally enough. I wished I could have asked for more Cajun seasoning. Didn't have a WOW experience But overall, not bad if you're looking for a place to fill ur seafood boil!

I tried this place in 2019. We ordered takeout on the 4th of July and said we'd go back to try it again but this time dine in. The food is decent. I stick to the catfish because I'm leery about crawfish. I tried it with etoufee this time, which was too thick and bland. The tan fries were my favorite on the menu and I enjoyed the fried gizzards. My partner and her friend tried the crawfish. They said it was pretty tasty. It can get pretty loud and busy since they don't open until two. They rush around you to take orders and drop off food but they in no way rush you to eat. There is a lot of space between tables and you might have to walk up so the counter for your check because you once you get your food they don't really come back to the table. The parking in that area is terrible. You either won't find a spot or have to back into a space on the middle of the street. It might create some anxiety for some people. The locals are used to it. All-in-all. It was okay. Not terrible just okay. The boils are the best thing to try.

    This place is temporarily closed.

    Is this place still open?

    Yes

Does anyone know if they're done remodeling? Don't want to make another 1hr drive just to find out they've been closed

They are remodeling for health code violations, to be in compliance.

    Any dairy free options?

Not that I know of, but I am sure you can figure something out. My fiancé eats food from there and she is lactose intolerant.

We tried calling and messaging on FB, but I have a friend who is allergic to gluten (celiac disease). Is she able to have boiled crawfish (Louie style)?

Do they have gluten free options?

Mostly no gluten free items. I think you'd have to stick with the crawfish only.

Are the prices fair and is it good?

The prices are definitely fair and the food is fantastic! If you like fried oysters, they are the BEST! The Entree baskets with fried seafood and French fries are about $8. I love the oysters, softshell crab, and shrimp. The boils are more expensive…

How much are the boils per pound? I know every item is priced differently , but just an estimate is ok.

Hi Tatyana...the prices are as follow...we try to keep the prices the same unless there's a big increase or decrease in our cost to make us change the prices.…

I finally had the pleasure of dining in as there was a concert nearby and this one of the only places that would be open afterwards. We arrived 40-ish minutes before they closed and it was still busy in the restaurant with bar full of patrons and half of the restaurant had tables filled. The restaurant itself was gorgeous as it was dim but they had hundreds of candles on shelves as well as lamps throughout the restaurant. There was booth seating, bar seating and more. My boyfriend and I arrived and waited a few minutes before we were seated and handed menus. Our waiter on Saturday (8/8) was not only professional but hilarious. We ordered a strawberry lemonade for the two of us, a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger with bacon for him and I got their seafood gumbo entree and a side of their cheesy grits. We got our food and the portions here are huge. The food was immaculate. My boyfriend said this was probably one of the best fried chicken burgers he had ever had and that the bacon portion was more than any other place has given him. I was very happy with the gumbo and the cheesy grits were so good, it had a puree/whipped potatoes consistency which was delightful. The strawberry lemonade was tart and sweet with the right amount of strawberry flavor. This isn't probably an issue for the average person- look ahead if it is. We ordered oysters on HH (amazing deal!), fried green tomatoes (ehh), gumbo (very good), fries (good), and Brussels (not bad, but I didn't like the sauce). We also ordered wine and a Mexican mule. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try out. I'll absolutely be back to more things!

The menu has the usual Viet-Cajun flare, where you want to eat seafood boil or items cooked from the kitchen. I noticed that there was the option to order headless shrimp for those of you who are squeamish about shrimp heada. I ordered a pound of head-on shrimp with added corn tossed in House Sauce at Medium Spicy. The shrimp had nice texture, the corn was sweet and the sauce was pretty decent. We were provided gloves which was very nice. The server was very attentive and refilled my drink when she saw it was getting low. The pho is a specialty because it comes out in a big stone bowl where you add the ingredients yourself so it is nice and piping hot, which my family enjoys. There are seafood boils and the combos usually come with a side (we usually choose sweet potato or curly fries) which is a nice touch and it is reasonably priced and decently tasty. We've tried some of the other things like escargot on the menu (they were too chewy but the salted egg yolk flavor was different) and they had a famous beef hotpot that I was honestly very disappointed in (it was very pricey for a small portion of noodles/beef/etc and did not feed as many people as it proclaimed). The vibe was chill too -- clean space, relaxing piano music in the background, nothing chaotic. Even the fortune cookie was good, which honestly feels rare these days. The guy next to us ordered the garlic lobster and I'm still thinking about it... looked . Just don't order the coleslaw, its not your traditional coleslaw but instead lettuce with creamy sauce. We drove 35 minutes on a Saturday afternoon to get here and yeah -- I'd do it again.

Google and other Yelp reviews were impressed so, I want to check it out…read more Service: attentive, helpful and timely Food prep speed: It's a Chinese restaurant so, let's focus on the food. The chef cooks really fast; so, we were impressed. Food quality: we ordered Dungeness crabs and the menu has no price except "Market price". After all, all raw food prices are determined by the market, don't they? So, what does it mean? When a seafood restaurant says market price, it implies the price is determined by the local market, since they are fresh catch and the prices changes almost everyday. When we were served the crabs, one bite into the center, it was cold, almost frozen. OK, someone doesn't know how to cook crabs. So, I skipped the center of the crabs and go to the legs. The meat in the legs are still sweet (which is good), like most crab meat, but there were stringy and do not have the firm succulent texture of a fresh catch. And, the after taste has a slight fishy smell. No fresh crabs have fishy smell. I have eaten many Dungeness crabs in my life, and have bought fresh live ones and cook them myself. They do not taste like this. These tasted like they were in the freezer for weeks, may be months. I have no idea where they source their crabs but 3-4 bites of it did not convince me that these were fresh catch but looks like the owners had the confidence to demand MARKET PRICE when they were frozen crabs. Verdict: will I return? Definitely no. I want to see some honesty, please.
