Our new favorite seafood place. Service was very attentive. Our waitress checked on us multiple times and was on the spot to refill drinks. Talk about something you don't see anymore. We started out with the crawfish egg rolls. Both the egg rolls and the dipping sauce were delicious. Decadently delicious. For entrees, we both got fried seafood combos. Michelle got the oysters and shrimp with fried okra and garlic bread. The most important part for Michelle...the fried oysters. Really good. Jeff got the catfish and shrimp combo. It was very nice to be given a good amount of food that was not a mountain of catfish filets and shrimp and fries that was never going to get finished. I'm tired of the fried seafood platter that is more food than I'm ever going to eat. This was perfect. Six very nice shrimp and one modest catfish filet with two sides from many choices. I got the gumbo and the hushpuppies. Yes, a small bowl of gumbo (really good) as a side. That is such a great idea. And not the standard 2 hushpuppies. Oh no no. I got six of them....which went really well with the crawfish egg roll dipping sauce that was left over. And we both want to give four thumbs up to the cocktail sauce. That is a sauce with a kick. Tiffany's service excellence at Crawfish Cafe was the thing that truly impressed me most about my dining experience. We felt tremendously cared for because Tiffany checked on us frequently though never invaded our privacy. She showed a permanent smile while managing busy conditions even though the restaurant began filling up with customers. Working with someone who combines such strong authenticity with expert professionalism is a truly special experience. Crawfish egg rolls, Cajun fries, hush puppies and beignets are really tasty. Having grown up in the New Orleans area I was genuinely impressed with their beignets. The crawfish poboy was good and I love that they have true French poboy bread. However, the crawfish by themselves were very bland and not seasoned at all. The fried Catfish was not good because the seasoning was strange. It was like they added too much thyme to it. The fried shrimp was pretty good but you better love garlic because it has a strong garlic flavor. Gumbo was disgusting. It basically tasted like they added oil and water to red beans and rice. It also had a weird plastic taste. Service was slow but it was a Monday and they seemed slightly understaffed. The host was awesome. He was helping out and overseeing the place in areas that needed attention. He is definitely a keeper. read more

Late lunch was very good! Fried shrimp were crispy & larger than other restaurants. Catfish po'boy had all the trimmings on fresh bread with plenty of fried catfish. Sides of rice & potato salad were tasty and served in a big bowl. Food was all yummy. Restaurant was very clean. Appreciated hand was station outside of the restrooms. The place is really nice! Very open with the windows, lots of places to sit. The aroma isn't overpowering! The service was absolutely amazing. Diane was amazing! Definitely hope to see her again during crawfish season but she'll definitely be seeing me multiple times before that. The food was absolutely amazing. The spice level is what they say. I got a medium spice level and the spiciness wasn't overpowering either. The sauces were soo good! I wish I got a picture of the food but yea ... I couldn't stop eating. Lol. Loved it! Cute little spot, clean and waitstaff was nice. The beer was ice cold which is always a good thing. We ordered crawfish cheese bread and oyster nachos to start, both were delicious! I had the shrimp and crawfish fried platter. The crispiness on all the fried items was good and had good flavor! I had hush puppies and garlic noodles for sides. The hush puppies were good but I wasn't crazy about the garlic noodles, they were a little mushy. They have a homemade cocktail sauce that was really good too. I can't wait to go again and try more things, the crawfish looked so good so I'll be trying that next time! read more

My husband's 2 lbs of crawfish came out first. 7 minutes later my sister's dish came out. She ordered blackened shrimp. They brought out fried shrimp. A few minutes later after notifying the server her blackened shrimp came out. 15 minutes later my dad asks the server if his meal will be coming out. 10 minutes later the server came out and asked how everything is and my dad's food wasn't out so he just asked for his meal to be canceled. I ordered a side of white rice which never came either. The server had no idea what he was doing and the manager didn't either. The reviews made it sound like it would be a great find but the fried shrimp was over oily and mushy. The blackened shrimp was mediocre and nothing to write home about. The garlic noodles I could have made at home better. It was a supreme waste of a drive. The manager came by as we were about to leave with my dad's fish tacos and apologized and discounted my sister's meals. The whole experience was a hot mess. 3 stars only because the crawfish was good. read more

We had always heard of how great Crawfish Cafe in the heights was from friends so we were really excited to go to the Cypress grand opening. Phenomenal all around. Our server Jennifer was incredibly attentive, fast and kind. The crawfish were to die for. I got "the grail" which is the thai basil mixed with garlic butter. My wife got the signature flavor. Huge crawfish, cooked perfectly. The crawfish egg rolls were also tasty and the spicy cajun fries were crisp and fresh. We'll be back to try other items for sure. This place has become a local favorite for me, especially since it's in the area. I started with the usual crawfish boil (the signature extra wet) and moved to trying the oysters, crawfish egg rolls, and crawfish nachos. I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of the food, the service or the atmosphere. I usually do an online order for pickup because I'm not the only person who enjoys this place as they are usually packed in the evenings. But if you are looking for a lunch time or afternoon food spot, this is it. If you are in Cypress this is a MUST visit if you enjoy crawfish and oysters. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

We went to eat here for Mother's Day. Totally understandable that the wait was longer than expected and we were not even upset that our food took longer. However two of the people in our party were never served food and no manager ever came by to check on us. As we were paying we noticed a few items wrong on our bill and no discount was applied. We scanned the QR code on our way to get food for the two people who did not get to eat to rate our experience and a manager did contact us and offered $10 off. I told him no thank you we don't plan to be back. I have never had people in our party leave a restaurant without getting food and once the manger was aware only because of my rating he offered only $10 coupon. My suggestion is to take your business to BB's or Hans' Crawfish if it's the weekend, where they know how to handle situations like this. read more

I went for the first time over the weekend. The crawfish were good - very unique flavor. We also got the shrimp pack and I loved the smack sauce. I gave it a 4 because my boudin balls were still cold on the inside after being fried. One more thing...if you have young hostess remind them to discontinue their conversation and laughing when customers are standing right in front of you waiting to be seated.
