After having a cornacopia of food I was largely disappointed, not by the quantity but by the quality. Although I did leave fuller than a fat woman's pantyhose, it was not as nice as it seems. The mud bugs were undercooked with no taters, the cat fish was dry and tasted like my ex, gritts were too watery but in the bad morning on the toilet way. Service was wonderful however. I tried the oysters and was disappointed when I saw something slithering around, while I'm all for natures ozempic, I would like to not ingest a parasite unknowingly. Now the boudin balls were bigger than swollen you know what's and were MOIST just how my date wanted them. Overall I'd give this place a 5/10 due to the service and viewing the wait staff provided. I usually go to the heights location and love it! I was in the area and wanted to try this location out. I ordered my go to crawfish order. The crawfish meat came out grey and mushy. Not sure if it was over cooked or old. Will not be back to this location unfortunately. Service was okay. read more

As someone who used to work in restaurants and who never writes reviews, I feel the need to actually say how bad the service was. My husband and I, with our daughter, waited 20 minutes before having to grab a server and ask for service. The server who we talked to was sweet but it seems like the hostess forgot to assign our table to someone according to the server (and which I could've guessed). It's like the servers don't have assigned sections? Forgetting to assign a table as a hostess happens but then we sat there for 20 mins with no water, nothing.. it was blatantly obvious no one had been by our table and no one seemed to notice or care so we left. 9/1/2024. This salt and pepper shrimp was either old and they just threw it in a skillet to warm up or someone doesn't know how to cook it. I tried to eat them but every piece was old, dried out, and hard. There were probably 10ppl in there including staff and my food took forever. If I can give this location a negative star I will. They told us a 30min wait and then they kept telling us we are just cleaning the table after the 30mins. And 15mins later again they came out to say "we are just cleaning the table." After an hour later someone came out saying that they apologize for the wait but we would still need to wait longer. This is ridiculous customer service. They kept letting all the people, that were just showing up, take the empty tables they had. I don't understand why they couldn't set the table aside for us. Food was excellent the service from Jimmy was top notch and the beer was cold. I highly recommend the boudin egg rolls. Had the catfish oyster and shrimp combo with the gumbo which was awesome! The wife had the king crab legs which were cooked perfectly but next time will just do them boiled in water with melted butter. Great place but when busy the cooks get lazy and rush food out. I went last night very busy and my food was pickup and the food wasn't good at all. My blue crabs had burnt pieces on each one. I understand when you're busy it's a rush but still cook food the same way as if it wasn't busy. read more
