Bing-bop-boom-boom-boom-bop-bam! The type of flavors they're on you wouldn't understand! But really though, the food here is really good. Even though it's a small chain, I had never heard of this place before but I'm glad they opened up near me. I can lead off by saying that I enjoy the food so much that I've been able to make a friend of mine a fan as well. I think I had recently ate Chipotle a few times the first time I decided to give here place a try, and essentially it's Chi'Lantro is the Korean BBQ version of Chipotle. I must say though that with the about of veggies they give you it is kind of funny to think of here as a "BBQ" place. Just like Chipotle the main entrace here are served as either a bowl or a wrap, which they call a ssäm. As it was my first time eating here I wanted to go with one of their customer favorites so I went with the #1, the Chi'Lantro B'bimbap bowl. This is a mix of white or brown rice topped with marinated beef, black beans, grilled corn, a fried egg, and green leaf lettuce and cabbage, garnished with cilantro, onion, kimchi, sesame seeds, and drizzled with a sweet chili sauce. I got mine with white rice and add ed grill veggies and caramelized kimchi. I also got a side of fries and a strawberry lemonade. When I got home with my food I did of course think the bowl looked very fresh but I also thought they didn't give me much meat. Diving into it however I was pleasantly surprised to find that they did give a good portion of meat with the bowl. That was enough food between the fries and the bowl that I believe I had food to eat for later. From a flavor standpoint I believe the food was very subtle yet flavorful. As I said before the food looked very fresh, and it tasted fresh with vegetables, which is exactly what I was looking for. The fries were fries they weren't bad but they were anything to rave about. The strawberry lemonade as well was cool but nothing to go crazy about. Since that initial visit I've also had the #2 K'Pop Chicken bowl and the Korean Fried Chicken Wings. Both were very good. My only issue with the chicken wings is that they were a bit small and I should have had them fried harder. They also have a nice selection of sauces there to choose from and I feel like honestly you can't go wrong with most of the sauces I've tasted. The restaurant itself has a nice clean feel to it on the inside. I haven't dined inside but I believe that has been someone eating inside each time I've gone there so that's an option if you want it. The staff as well has been very helpful anytime I've had any questions, include my most recent time when I had some issues with the app that they tried to help look into, and even though they weren't able to resolve it they were diligent in trying to help.

Nice new location in the Vintage Park area for this spot that we have enjoyed in Austin for some time. Nice to have one close to home. This is a counter service casual build your own bowl kind of spot. With Korean themed proteins and toppings. Both the KPop chicken and the Korean BBQ beef are very nice. They offer a nice range of sauces as well, ftomild to quite spicy.

Went with friends for lunch. The place was very clean. I ordered the house specialty bowl as is- it was bomb. Service was fast and the male lead who prepared our meals was very hospitable. I got the sauce it came with and another sauce on the side (gangham I think) both were tasty. I would have gotten pineapple cream soda but they were out. Instead I tried the basil lemonade and strawberry limeade, both were great. In the background of my attached photo you can see my friends both attacking the kimchi fries, they were so yummy! I will definitely be checking out the Houston location soon as it's a lot closer to my house. I watched the shark tank episode when we left after seeing a picture about it in the restaurant. The founder seems like a great guy. Awesome experience all around.

I'm 1 and done if you can't even be bothered to read the order correctly. Ordered Chilantro B'bimbap with chicken and a couple other substitutions, (no kimchi, added a couple extra sides of sauces to try), and a side of chips and guacamole. Received normal B'bimbap with beef, kimchi, and no sides. Thanks guys!

I finally got to go to a Chi'lantro! Long time follower, first time diner! My husband, son and I went around 6pm for dinner and we all left full and happy. I had #1 bibimbap, my 9yr old had the quesadilla after he found the K-pop Chicken a little spicy and couldn't pass on the Kimchi Fries and Wings. Little secret, before pandemic, Louetta had a Korean chipotle style restaurant but it didn't do well because their flavors weren't right. Let me tell you, Chi'lantro flavors were so en pointe. The texture of their chapchae noodles and flavor was just right. Kimchi fries - I was hesitant because I don't like fusion but I'm so glad we ordered. It was a a really good blend of spicy, savory and textures Next day we came back for more kimchi fries, double the wings. The wings were so good, that's all my 9yr old wanted even if he thought it was a little spicy. No extra sauces are necessary. The way they come are excellent. On the second day I wanted to try a different bowl and it wasn't as stellar as the previous day. The sauces were too salty. The chapchae noodles were too salty. The spicy ranch dressing wasn't spicy, just salty. But we're coming back hoping they'll be as amazing as the other day.

I got the "KPOP bowl", and it was awesome!

I ate Chipotle earlier today and felt price gouged as heck!! Compared to them Chi'lantro clears the area! There was also a rude customer but the manger and employees took care of them respectfully and effectively, they were also super friendly and shoutout to them!! I also enjoyed the ambience super chill and relaxing!!

This brings back so many college memories and I'm glad they're open in Vintage park (only a few miles from me!). I love that their concept is Korean Tex-Mex fusion style. So you can get Korean food at an affordable price! You can build your own bowls, or ssam (burrito/wrap). Don't forget about their kimchi fries! I've had these throughout my undergrad years and these were life changing (and it's fully loaded with flavor too). Service was so quick and the employees there are super nice (they also help you navigate through the menu if it's your first time!)

This was a brand new location of this restaurant that just had their grand opening so we got 25% of our order! I went with my sister and brother in law and we were all so amazed by how delicious the food was. This place is like a Korean/Mexican fusion style chipotle, where you go down in a line and tell them what you want in your bowl/wrap. I got the tofu noodle bowl and wow the flavors of the tofu, all the toppings and the spicy mayo dressing they put on top were delectable. The tofu was cooked perfectly, which some places don't do so I was pleasantly surprised with that. The other 2 bowls were create your own bowls with different types of chicken. The K'Pop chicken had a really nice flavor to it. The soy glazed chicken wasn't my favorite, but my sister really enjoyed it. We also got the kimchi fries, which took a while to actually get to our table. They were good, just wish they had more flavor to them. The fries by themself tasted pretty basic, but with the toppings and sauce drizzled on top elevated the flavors of it. There was a lot of seating available and it was spacious. All the workers there were super friendly and eager to help!

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.

And when I was trying to compare it to the holiday meal, it seems like a mix of things and we never got the dessert, but I don't know if whoever ordered our food decided change some parts out. We had 10 adults. And had to be split into two different tables near each other. Our waiters were kinda off and on we had to ask them a few times to refill our water. And they seem to like to bring all the meat out at once so the table has got really really crowded and chaotic. Now onto the food , it was all freaking amazing. It's so hard to just pick a few. Let's put it this way, if you had to do all cart. Beef sukiyaki bibimbap is a must. There are three different types of sauces in the middle of the table and four tongs to grab/cook the food. The grill is well ventilated. The food was 4/5 but the service was 3/5. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt since I wasn't the person that ordered for the whole group and I don't know if that person made some changes with whatever we ordered. If you have a big group, make sure you RSVP and doublecheck that they have a table big enough for your group. Other there is free parking out front .
