Great neighborhood find. Walking w dogs and we could of eaten outside. Wonderful night finally outside weather. But like the the dummies decided to enjoy it in our garden patio. U know covid still around !!! Got the margarita ! Awesome taste wood fired crust. Not a five but definitely a 4 Starr pizza. Will need to try others and maybe the plain Jane I hear is 5 Starr's. Staff extra friendly and ready fast. So that is why I gave It a five. read more

Johnny is a dick and very rude. He turned us away for having 6 people claiming that our party size results in loitering. I love the pizza but Johnny makes me never want to come back. He's got some whack power trip inferiority complex that takes away from the integrity of the business. read more

I'm a native New Yorker who has been living in Chicago for the last few months. I've been on the hunt for the best NY style pizza and this is by far the best I've had. The sauce and crust are perfect! read more

Great spot. Half off on Tuesdays and consistently good service! When in this part of town this is the best part of the night.

4 stars why not 5? Well if I could do a half star I would. The pizza crust is awesome, the dough sweetness is great. It is the cost that brings it down. I mean it is flour, water, some yeast to make the magic happen. I know it is Chicago but pizza is like breakfast food, it is an inexpensive item that has a lot of common ingredients. I have had a few of the specials and I really like them all. Their white pizzas are really good. Their pick up times are quick. I have yet to dine there, only take out. But their beer collection appears to be large. read more

Visiting from the Boston area and stopped in here while exploring the Wicker Park area. The first thing I noticed on walking in was the aroma of toasting pizza crust. My wife and I ordered a small Wicker Pork to split - a red pie with Canadian bacon, red onion, and freshly-cut pineapple - and when it came out I knew the moment I touched the crust that it was something special. Tender but with an appealing bite, flavorful but not bitter, soft but not squishy, it's one of the best I've ever had. It goes without saying that the rest of the pizza held up its end of the bargain. I had the chance to speak with one of the chefs about his passion for bread making and it absolutely comes through in the product. The location is nice, close to the Blue Line and dozens of interesting shops, not to mention clean and comfortable despite its no-frills looks. I'll absolutely go back again next time I'm in Chicago. The white pies are calling my name. read more

Craft Pizza - Small (14") The Wicker Pork Pie - Pizza Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Just went here for a quick slice but man the quality and just the overall taste of their pizza is amazing. One of the more underrated pizza joints in the city. I really enjoyed this place and the workers were great as well. read more

Love this neighborhood pizza joint. Food is always delicious. Salads are huge for the price. Top notch pizza . There was one instance where we had a complicated pizza order that did get messed up and they immediately rushed us a new pizza. We later found out the manager didn't like how the remake turned out and we actually received a third, which passed muster. They were super polite and accommodating the whole time. My favorite pizza in Chicago. The service is some of the genuinely nicest people you could meet in the city and they always (multiple visits) make sure you have everything you need. My wife and I love sitting outside under the trees, where we are away from Damen. It's nice and peaceful. I recommend Craft to anyone who asks about pizza in Chicago. If you are ever around Wicker Park check them out. read more

Was there a change in ownership? It's been a while since I got pizza but I've gotten the house salad recently in the past couple of months. Ordered the Amore and house salad, and it feels like an entirely different pizza. Like the dough wasn't proofed enough or something. The crust and dough are flat like it's a Blaze pizza and it's thin but dense, no bubbly airy crust. Salad dressing is also thicker and more orange and doesn't taste the same. read more

Okay, a solid 5 stars for Craft Pizza's weekday specials. Half off for a pizza on Tuesday nights is amazing. We met some friends here for an informal going away party for a couple who was moving, and because of our size at 10 people, had to sit inside. It was loud, so we were definitely loud, and we ordered a LOT of food. It was magical for us, though I'm sure we were an inconvenience to the staff. Thus begins an odd interaction I had: when I asked for five to-go boxes (like I mentioned, a lot of people and a lot of food), the guy at the counter actually replied with, "really? That's a lot." Like he did NOT want to give me those boxes. I apologized, assuming he was maybe just concerned for the environment? After cleaning our tables and collecting our beer cans, I asked the young woman at the counter if they recycle. She replied flatly, without looking up from her phone, "no." So, no, maybe not concerned for Mother Nature. Maybe just concerned with folding more pizza boxes. I don't know what the deal was. Maybe we caught them on a bad night or maybe we just irritated them. Either way, I'd definitely come back and order pizza to-go on a Tuesday. The cheap food (and good pizza) is worth any disgruntled employees. read more

I love Craft Pizza. The salads are excellent. They do a great caesar dressing. Everything is fresh. My favorite pizza is the sausage. It is mild with a little kick of heat. The sauce tastes like fresh picked tomatoes. The manager John, seems to love what he is doing. I don't notice too much turnover with the staff. That's usually a good sign that the staff is treated well and paid a fair wage. read more

NON WEARING MASK, NON WHITE, BEWARE!!! My family walks in and ordered pizza while I sat outdoor in their outdoor dining area. My daughter tells me that they'd like to eat inside and so I obliged. I looked at the door and windows for "mask wearing policy" before walking in. Nothing is posted so I proceeded. I was stopped at the door and was told to wear a mask. Walked back to the car and grabbed my mask and proceeded to join my family inside. Half hour later, another customer walked in not wearing a mask and just went about with his business. He ordered his food and chatted with one of the staff without any issues at all. He never once was told to wear a mask or offered a mask since the pizza place has extra masks for staff and customers. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL? I CAN'T GET STUPID IN FRONT OF MY KIDS BUT I'M FUMING INSIDE. IS IT THE WHITE SOX JERSEY I'M WEARING? IS IT THE COLOR OF MY SKIN CAUSE I'M NOT WHITE? WHATEVER IT IS, I'M NOT GOING BACK TO THIS PIZZA PLACE AGAIN. read more

Good New York style pizza, but the past few times the pizza has had significantly too much flop. The way to go here is to get a classic - cheese, pepperoni, or sausage. Crisp it in the oven at home if you need to. Solid pizza overall though. read more

Great thin pizza. Hands down one of the best hidden gems in Wicker Park. There's many options in WP like Paulie Gee and Piece pizza that do a good thin pizza. Consider Craft one of your go-tos. Always delicious - whether you order a custom or one of the signatures - have never had leftovers. Nice crust with a soft and slight crust. Not oily. Great flavors. read more

...I just wanted pizza. We ordered through the Craft Pizza website. Delivery was offered through Door Dash so I signed up and placed our order for a Margherita Pizza. We live 5 minutes down the road. 20 minutes later we received a call from a Door Dash Delivery Driver. He said someone already came and picked up my pizza...huh? I call Craft Pizza to understand what is going on and the location of the pizza. The woman who answered the phone was plain uninterested. I explained to her, the driver said he was waiting for my pizza and it was given to someone else. "Yes..." she said. Alright what the fuck, am I getting the pizza or not? Is what I thought to myself. I said, "Yes what?..." What does that mean? You gave away my pizza or what? She said she gave it to another DELIVERY driver. Ohh perfect, so it should be here in a few minutes. 45 minutes, no pizza. I call back and the same employee answers and I explain how the pizza has still not been delivered. The same shitty attitude greets me on the other side... "okay?" Well I just want the pizza, are you able to deliver me a pizza? She says they can. Joy. 30 more minutes and I get a call from Door Dash. They ask if I want a refund or the pizza. Pizza. Going on an hour and a half. Terrible experience with the employee and delivery with Craft Pizza. Door Dash too at this point but if you don't have the ability to deliver don't offer delivery on your website. Piss Poor experience with Craft Pizza so far. read more

Been a minute since having Craft but a Portnoy's One Bite review had me wanting to verify his high status assessment of the place. Yes, it's legit and honestly not sure why we haven't' been getting this on "Pizza Night" or just when i'm in the mood for a quick snack/slice. Excellent thin crust pizza,I had sausage (a little spicy ) and pepperoni. The crust is thin but not dried out and the sauce is tasty.

Craft Pizza is my favorite pizza in the city (which in a city full of deep dish like Chicago is an accomplishment)! My go to's on the menu are Amore Pizza, Caesar Salad, White Truffle Pizza, and their slices! read more

Good New York style pie. Reminds me of Brooklyn! Obviously not Brooklyn but Bucktown is close enough! My dear friend in New York actually recommended this place, she approves! So it's vetted. The cheese, sauce, sausage and the pepperoni is all great. Ordered for delivery today and my 18" pie arrived warm & super fast. Definitely hit the spot during the Bears game today, and thankfully the Bears won which is rare! Yay! I'm sure I'll hit Craft again when I'm in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood. Thanks for making a quality NY pie. We definitely need this here! Chicago people are not all about the deep dish. In fact the classic square cut thin crust is where it's at. But when you're craving that New York style, Craft will definitely hit the spot. TU! read more

We love the spinach pizza - it's a sauceless pie with ricotta and tomatoes and garlic and it's phenomenal! The cheese is so fresh and tasty and the crust is fantastic. Craft Pizza - Margarita pizza with Pepperoni lol, it has a special name - Pizza Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Wow I love delicious pizza and Craft delivered a great pie last night. We've driven past Craft and it looked crowded, I have also heard positive reviews of their Za too. Both indications that this could be a good pie and I was definitely impressed. I'd even throw Craft into my current top-5: Damato's, Pauline Gees, Pequods and Piece Pizza (honorable mention to Lous)! The 18-in pie is perfect for a full meal to share with your pizza partner in crime. I devoured this pizza which had excellent crisp crunch, good cheese and sauce. I prefer more sauce for an even balance and ratio of sauce to cheese. Overall, this was a Homerun and I plan on getting Craft again! read more

The cuteness! The cuisine! The cost! The Craft! What is not to adore about my favorite little pizza spot? While there are bigger, flashier spots in Wicker Park to try (not naming names), I would go for Craft instead. Always fresh, always friendly, always keeps the wallet happy. Plus their patio is such a refreshing spot to end the day. Do me a personal favor and go to Craft! :) read more

Craft Pizza - Amore Pie - Pizza Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

This is maybe one of the only pizza places where I have ever stated that I needed to return on a regular basis, and I mean it in the most sincere way possible. The fact that it has been a long time since I have actually eaten here does not detract from the fact that this restaurant represents everything that I love about Chicago ever since my friends and I moved here. It's not particularly flashy, but the inside was comfortable, and the vibe was excellent, you can definitely come just for its relaxing vibes . Once you step inside, you'll undoubtedly appreciate the ambience. Although the Amore Pizza was great, it could not compare to my all-time favorite pizza here, the Wicker Pork Pizza, which I had ordered the day before. Nonetheless, the experience was enjoyable. To top it all off, the service was nothing short of outstanding. Without a doubt, a top-notch suggestion! read more

This place is THE hidden gem in Wicker Park for pizza. Turns out I had been working right around the corner from this rad little pizza shop! New York style pizza with a cool modern twist. All their pies are handmade to order and they do not dissapoint. The Spinach specialty pizza is my favorite so far, but since finding this place 2 weeks ago, i've already worked my way through half their menu and have become a lifer. Asside from the delish pizza, they have: -super cool vibe -locally owned -everything made from scratch -eco-friendly pizza boxes -incredibly friendly staff read more

Repeat visit. Asked for slices to be heated 'hot' and they were. These folks have satisfied my NY pizza snobbery. If they offered slices during the week I'm sure they'd see a big lunch crowd. Stopped in for a slice after Scott messaged me that they have the real deal NY pizza. Nice casual atmosphere and a good weekend slice deal. The pizza looked as good as any I've seen here in Chicago. The cook tossed my slice in the oven to heat it up but I feared he took it out way too quickly. I was right. The pizza is really really good and if you're a NY pizza snob like me, you need to give it a try. Just be sure to insist the make your slice HOT. Five stars if they had read more

Walked to get pizza with our 2 puppies (5 months old). five blocks away. We were going to eat outside. As we arrived it began to downpour. We were told dogs were not allowed inside the establishment. It would have taken ten minutes for the pizza to be done if we were to take out. There was no empathy or understanding from staff to "come in" and we could wait until rain subsides. We ended up walking home in the pouring rain. Sometimes customer service outweighs making money. Bad reviews however are priceless. read more

Was excited to try the pizza after recommendations from our friends who always get this delivered. We decided to pick up which was a huge mistake. Johnny was extremely rude and condescending, he got the name wrong when the order was called in which was somehow my fault and he talked to me like I was a literal scum. There is absolutely never a reason to conduct business in that manner. He talked to everyone who came to the counter that way, throwing things around like a toddler throwing a tantrum. I have worked in the industry for over a decade and have never talked to someone that way. I will never be back again. And stop calling women "sweetie". read more
