Found this place on a little map of the area restaurants while visiting Bend. We liked the decor, and the kids play area was a nice touch! Our server was excellent, she helped me pick a beer, the Elle Bock and it was so good I ended up taking home a growler of it. We all had the brisket, which was super good, and they come with lavender-chili chips which sounded interesting and ended up being really tasty. Fresh cut fries would be a nice addition, but the chips were good. Prices were moderate, good view and a deck for warmer days. Will definitely return when we're back in the area! read more

I had heard good things about this place from a few different foodies. I was able to do some tasting at Broken Top Bottle Shop for Central Oregon Beer Week. They had their SMASH (single malt and single hop) brew from the festival. I finally made it in for lunch to the brewery last week, and was able to see that they not only have good beer but also a great selection of food. I want to go back to try some of the delicious sounding soul food like chicken and waffles, brisket, and po'boys. I had the southern bibb salad with blackened shrimp. The blend of watermelon and corn made this salad unique and fresh for summer. Speaking of summer, the brewery also has a back deck that overlooks the river making for nice scenery while enjoying tasty beer and food. read more

Great location and good food but staff are overworked and we waited a very long time just to place our order. Tip: Make sure to sit on back deck overlooking the river. read more

Don't listen to the negative reviews. This place had AWESOME food and friendly staff. We went in there for lunch (me, wife, and kids). They had board games to keep everyone entertained while we waited for our food. The staff in there were very friendly and the beer was delicious. What we had: IPA and Pale (not sure the names). Both were crisp and delicious but I preferred the pale. To eat I had the burnt ends with mac, wife pulled pork with mac and jalapeño cornbread, kids pulled pork sliders and kids quesadilla. Burnt ends are highly recommended!! Everything else was delicious. read more

Great atmosphere! Nice outdoor seating with views of the river. Impressive beer selection- though the tasters are a bit expensive. Food is well prepared but I would have liked a more extensive menu. The staff is really helpful. I can certainly recommend this place when you're in the neighborhood! read more

The food and beer was absolutely fantastic! We had fried chicken, wedge salad, burnt ends tacos and the beet salad and everything absolutely killed. We will absolutely be back! read more

We were in Bend for the first time on July 13 and walked around the old mill shopping area, watching the people baking in the hot sun floating down the Deschutes. We were hungry for lunch and decided to try Craft K&B. Amazing. The food. The service. The vibe. I loved watching two little boys playing in Craft's kiddie farmer's market and kitchen. The brisket was so good! The beer was great and both the owner and the server told us about things to do in Bend. Courtney and Ashley... the owner even gave us a can cooler and sticker! What a great place! read more

Super weird experience. The folks were nice, but everything that could go wrong seems like it did. We sat in self serve area, but there was nothing to serve ourselves with. No cups, no condiments, no silverware. We asked for it 3 x and then finally asked other tables to use their stuff that they weren't using. Our drink order was wrong, and the line was piling up so I just ended up drinking my vodka margarita(?) was supposed to be a moscow mule. Our food orders were both wrong. When I went to check out, she informed me that they had already run my card for $40, that's standard. What if I had spent less than $40?! The whole experience was super weird. Won't be back. read more

Excellent brunch!!! And our server Amy was awesome! Great service and excellent food with a beautiful view!

Ate here for lunch and received great service, along with excellent food. If we lived in the area we would definitely eat here all the time. I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a turkey sandwich with an olive tamponade and they were both extremely delicious. read more

Went for happy hour. Excellent food, excellent service by Stacy. Totally recommend it.

Stopped in for a beer on the Bend Ale trail. Their beer selection is way maker unique than some of the others. Server was knowledgeable about types of beers and brought us some samples before we committed. Their chinook ipa and dry nitro stout were excellent. We did not try any food, but ordered a vegetarian snack for our daughter. Views were great and they had a little play room for the little kids which is a great idea! read more

Went to Craft brewery tonight after being on the river for our daily sunset run. What a delight! Met Kelly our server and then after dinner Calvin came out from the kitchen to see how our dinner was. Had the burnt and brisket tacos, the fried chicken poboy, mac & cheese, shrimp and grits, the pulled pork sandwich and braised greens. All superior. Kelly was the best server we have had in a long time ...friendly, professional and with a local feeling. This is all what we've come to expect and enjoy from Craft. Craft brewery beers and a super array of guest taps were all stunning, what a selection! Patio ambience overlooking the river is always a treat, but the best thing about this little spot is the southern flair home cooked imagination, second only to the way the staff makes you feel. A good value and a pleasant time. Definitely what we come out to enjoy in Bend. Thanks to Calvin and the crew. Everybody works together to make this place great! Reminded us of their brunch special with bottomless mimosas which we will definitely have to come back and revisit. If you're looking for the best of Bend, this is a warm and friendly place that ranks highest among the must do! read more

We went here as part of the Bend Ale Trail. Great service and a great selection of craft beer. We came again on the following Sunday because they have the NFL Sunday Ticket and had lunch. Really a great meal all around. The menu is slanted towards southern cuisine and BBQ. We also had the bottomless mimosas which were refilled happily. Highly recommend. read more

I went there a week ago with a friend for my first time. Amy was our server and she was great. The location is great and this will be a wonderful spot during the summer to have a meal outside facing the river. I had the cubano with a side of greens and cornbread. DAAAANG! That was awesome! Very tasty pork belly sandwich, greens were perfect and the cornbread was manna from Heaven. Imagine cornbread slightly sweetened, slightly crisp on the outside soft on the inside and BACON...who doesn't love bacon? Bacon was placed on the bottom of the cornbread during the baking process and served with honey butter! I shared my friends blackened shrimp po boy but I'll be back again so I can have a whole one for myself! I'm on a new kick too...Vodka Gimlet. Their vodka gimlet was the best I've had so far using fresh limes. Oh Lordy.... My second visit to Craft Kitchen & Brewery was the following week with a friend from out of town and my husband. This time I had the blackened shrimp po boy, vodka gimlet and a family pan of .....yup.....CORNBREAD! The blackened shrimp po boy was served on bread locally made by sparrow bakery. I love that it's not a heavy bread and complimented the blackened shrimp perfectly. That with the vodka gimlet and cornbread was perfect! Can't wait to go back and try something else on their menu. I will however HAVE to order more of that incredible cornbread. read more

My favorite pub in Bend. Great food. Excellent beer. Great service and friendly clientele, what more can you ask for. FYI..... it's also kid friendly!!! read more

I was with a large group during a busy weekend in Bend and we were trying to grab lunch before the Cycle Pub that is nearby so we were in a bit of a time crunch. The server and staff here were awesome. Very nice and accommodating to such a large group. They made sure we were in and out of there on time and the food and drinks were awesome. I will definitely be returning there next time I'm in town. read more

Went for breakfast thing morning and was very pleased with the food. I did not try anything alcoholic (I have things to do!) but the food was excellent - I will definitely try it for other meals as well. I will return, and in my eyes that is praise. We have many options here in Bend and mediocre restaurants are cast aside. read more

Best god damn brisket in Oregon!! Food is amazing the staff was fantastic friendly knowledgeable about menu and the beers and the beer, oh my great the oxy moron IPA is delish. Must have the purple beer for fun and taste... love this place read more

First place we happened into after landing in Bend, what a stroke of luck. Had the burnt ends burger, nothing compares. Moreover, our waitress Amy was awesome! She made my wife and I feel very welcome to your beautiful city, setting the tone for the rest of our trip. Craft is one of the gems of Oregon. read more

Excellent food and the barrel aged IPA is awesome!!! View of river for patio dinning! Highly recommend blacken shrimp with watermelon and corn salad (or sandwich)... read more

I'm always up for a new brewery, but this place didn't really do it for me. Although the back deck is nice, the indoor layout was weird, having to walk through the restaurant to get to a awkwardly placed ordering table. It just didn't flow right. I didn't try the food, but they had some interesting options. The beer however was not nearly up to par with what else is around in Bend. Plenty of other options out there. Edited to 3 from 2 stars because the servers where pretty good. read more

Great find! In the snowstorm, their parking lot was perfectly clear too! Dropped in for drinks and bar food, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food offered. I'm a genuine southern gal and was delighted by the warm pimento cheese "nachos", and a special offering cornmeal coated fried fish. Finally! Real fried fish the way it was intended to be made! We also sampled the beet salad, burnt ends (BBQ'd brisket) street-style tacos, and the spiced yams (the yams were awesome, no joke!) Everything was very good. The young chef has a good head of ideas on his shoulders and some solid tastebuds! I predict telling my husband and other friends often in the near future: "Hey! I can't wait to have this dish again! Let's meet up for drinks tonight!" Seriously. Give this little place a chance, your tastebuds will thank you! read more

Incredible unique menu and great service from amy. Try the grits and shrimp and the home made vanilla bean ice cream with Carmel and sea salt read more

Not a bad place, not a great place either. I can tell this place is still trying to get off of the ground, but definitely has some of the pieces put in place. The beer isn't bad. Next time we will have to try the food. Until next time Craft!! read more

Great Brews! Some of the best southern style food I've found in the northwest. Fantastic service, patio & view. Be sure to try their homemade mustard!! They are also supportive in hosting a silent auction for a non-profit! read more

We've tried to eat here twice. Closed both times. Now I see you're not open on Mondays. I'm doubting that the third time will be the charm.

My wife, our oldest son, and I decided we would try these guys out for lunch. I liked the changes they made to the interior. Their menu is a mix of tapas, sandwiches and such. Ordered our food and drinks at the counter and sat at once of a handful of skinny community tables. I ordered the burnt end tacos (I'm a sucker for smoked brisket), wife got the stuffed eggplant, and son the pork belly Cubano. The tacos were really flavorful. I'm not sure about the shells that they use though. They had a little bit of crunch, but were kind of tough to chew. My wife's eggplant seemed a little small for the price, but she said it was delicious! The Cubano was apparently the star of the show, because my son was just going on about how tender and tasty it was. The wife tried it and said it was the best she has ever had! The wife and I tried a couple of their beers (log rider red and the porter) both were very good. We will be back to try some more. read more

Craft Kitchen & Brewery - Log Rider red! - Breweries Near Me - Bend, Oregon

View on the balcony was great. Beer was excellent. But the ordering system, service, was poor and the portions were small. We got our food before our beer and the portions were small. The nachos were a small handfulk of chips with a separate small dish of cheese. Won't be going back home unless I'm getting a beer read more

Beer, food, view, kids area all excellent. Did I mention the view ? Will definitely come back

Besides the convoluted & confusing ordering & paying my check system, it was good. Maybe pay a host to hang out up front to lead people through the process... read more

The beers are awesome; the IPL was really good and the barrel-aged IPA fantastic. The deck has a great view of the Deschutes River. Unique food; with a southern style bend. Not too expensive. read more

Great food. Great beer. Great vibe. With a bunch of fun board games too. The stout float was amazing.

We chose this place on a whim, mostly because it had a patio and the day was beautiful. Very nice and quiet back deck with picnic tables and a tranquil view. The foodwas really quite good, but a bit pricey. Blackened shrimp op'boy and Cubano pork belly were excellent. The shrimp and grits were outstanding in flavor and texture, but $8! For 2 shrimp! Ive had better beer in Bend, however the Mazana double IPA citrusy and chewy-excellent. Overall I would recommend this for a laid back sunny afternoon. read more

The brews are awsome, they have a Voodoo IPA that in my opinion is better than Boneyard RPM it's a must drink brew, they have some of the best ribs I have had now with an extended menu this place is a must stop and check it out place. read more

Great southern style food. The chicken and waffles is delish! The dry nitro stout is easily my new favorite beer.

The place has a nice view and the menu looks tasty, but service is REALLY slow. The waiters are pouring beers and serving tables for the entire place. Only two waiters. Our lunch with kids took two hours. However the kids play area was nice for keeping kids busy. I wouldn't comeback. read more
