Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and baby carrots

The food is delicious! Their meatloaf is better than mine! I had mashed potatoes and baby carrots. Rosie was our server. We had a lot of laughs with her. Her service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean. The country store has so many things to look at! We will definitely be going back!

Food was good and hot! Everything tasted good. The service was friendly and quick. The inside was clean, air conditioned and not too busy. We liked everything we got and our food came out very quick!

In an effort to eat out alone more often, to overcome my fear of dining alone, I ended up here. I arrived at 8:00 and asked what time they closed for the evening. A very kind store assistant told me they close at 9 but I have plenty of time. I was seated at a table that was not totally clean. I was only a party of one and sat on the clean side of the table. I didn't comment on it to anyone, so that was all on me. I was quickly waited on by Leanne. Very attentive and sweet (busy) young girl. My idea for the evening was to get recommendations for what SHE liked. She suggested the maple bacon chicken and it did not disappoint. The serving was healthy sized and I walked away stuffed. Leanne also recommended their peach iced tea, which was delicious. The food was a bit slow coming out, but not Leanne's fault whatsoever. All in all, tasty fare, above and beyond pleasant waitress who was happy to make recommendations to me. I will be coming back to this location on Saturday nights as that is when Leanna's manager told me she works. Her upbeat demeanor made dining alone worth the while. I didn't use the restroom so I cannot attest to its cleanliness. All in all a great experience. Great job Leanna! You made me feel heard, welcome and well taken care of. You deserve a raise young lady!

We had breakfast. I had a basic egg and biscuit breakfast. I would have liked a bit more variety in breads.

Outstanding New England food and hospitality…read more The steak tips were the best I've ever had -- perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and tender. The crinkle-cut fries were fried to crispy perfection. The quahog and chowder get a true New England stamp of approval (I grew up here and now live in the Philly area, so I know what I'm talking about). The fish and chips portions were enormous, golden, crispy, and delicious. Even though the inside was packed, the staff cranked up the heaters and gave us the patio all to ourselves, which was a great touch and showed how much they care about their guests. The place has a classic New England feel, bringing back memories of growing up camping at Normandy Farms down the road. The owners were welcoming and genuinely hospitable, which really set this place apart. Fantastic food, nostalgic vibes, and top-notch hospitality. On to see the Tom Brady statue -- Go Pats!

We made a reservation on their website and got seated promptly. We noticed how cozy and clean the restaurant was. Very inviting. They have steps to the main entrance door and a ramp for those with a mobility accessible device. Our server was very bubbly and friendly. We got a salad and a Lo Mein dish. Both were delicious and excellent. My salad could had been larger, but it was not bad. The Lo Mein had the right amount of seasonings and not too salty. Very good. Located right off the main square, it's a great choice for a meal. They have about 20 parking spaces in their private lot including one handicap space.

Stroll down to Union Straw!…read more I've updated my review from a 4-star to a 3-star since our last dining experience was not that great. I will preface that the restaurant was extremely crowded and maybe short staffed. Our dishes took forever since a lot of the other guests (us included) were attending a comedy show close by. Our sever did apologize and mentioned the kitchen was backed up. And, the General Manager also apologized after the fact which I appreciated as well. Food: I ordered their Harvest Salad with Steak on it and it was awful. Steak had no flavor and also came with very little dressing. My husband ordered their Buffalo boneless chicken and said they were lacking sauce. Service: Lacked due to the overcrowded of the restaurant. We sat awhile before being greeted and our drinks took forever. Ambiance: the restaurant has a warmth and nice decor making you feel very comfortable here. Bar seats are very comfy. Overall: 3.5/5 we have been here before and always had a nice time. I think since it was very busy they could not handle the timing of the food and deliver excellent service. I will be giving them another shot for sure. Cheers ~
