2 eggs with 3 bacon , 3 sausage or breakfast ham slice and side of hash
    Bridget L.

We went with two of my grandchildren aged 3 and 1, the staff was awesome greeting us with smiles and getting us a high chair and engaging with the three year old to order his food. The other patrons loved and interacted with both kids as they ran around the restaurant respectively. The food is good and always comes out hot and fresh. It was an overall enjoyable experience

My first time eating here. I will definitely go back. Food was yummy and price was good. I got eggs Benedict with spinach and tomato instead of ham. Added a side of bacon, which I ate before taking a picture..

I was early for an appointment in the area so I stopped in for a quick breakfast. This diner was quite busy when I walked in around 10:45am I order the corn beef hash Benedict. The breakfast was a decent meal and a decent portion. The hash was not home made, just you average canned corn beef hash. All in all it was a good breakfast.

Cute small diner. I was hungry and had to wait for someone in the area so I stopped to eat here. I was greeted upon walking in by my soon to be server. She juggled all of the tables by herself and still managed to refill my coffee which was pretty decent for a basic cup. I was extremely excited by the prices on the menu. My croissant was fresh. My waffle was very good as well. Although the sausage was also very basic it served its purpose quite well. The potatoes weren't very flavorful however they were cooked very well. Service was friendly. Overall, this place did it for me and I would definitely come back. I was very pleased. Good job!

Cute little diner! Wanted to take my 77 year old Dad here given thre ambiance of the diner. The food, coffee, prices AND service did not disappoint!! For $6.25 you can get one egg, one potato, one pancake OR french toast and a breakfast meat. TWO of each for $8.25. I challenge you to find better locally! And it's all delish. Encourage you to stop by! (I'd started to eat when I thought to snap a picture. French toast cut up & one less bacon slice)

Food was great, the wait was excruciatingly long. Only 9-12 tables. Staff was friendly and personable.

Waitstaff was kind and did a good job. Coffee & eggs were good. Hash browns tasted rancid; perhaps oil needs to be changed.

The burgers are completely tasteless -- no seasoning, no flavor, no reason to ever order one again. The milkshakes, which should be a guaranteed win at a burger joint, are bland and forgettable, like they were made with zero care. It somehow gets worse. The sandwiches are tough and unpleasant, the kind you chew forever wondering how something so basic went so wrong. The fries are absolutely brutal: wilted, soggy, limp, and sad. Nothing comes out hot, fresh, or remotely appetizing. And then there's the pricing, which is borderline insulting. $79 for a cup of chili, a child's wilted burger and fries, a chicken Caesar wrap and fries, a chicken parm sandwich, and two mediocre shakes. Seventy-nine dollars. For food this bad. I genuinely don't know why I kept giving this place chances, but I'm officially done. KC's Classic Burger Bar is overpriced, flavorless, and consistently disappointing. Save your money and your appetite.

You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but I'd like to highlight one dish - Chicken Tandoori Fries! These fries are crispy, loaded with flavor with a bunch of chicken and cheese on it. The dining room is absolutely massive and I'm sure it could fit a large number of people, so I don't think making a reservation is ever necessary. It is strange that I never see many people dine in, but you could see they're very busy with takeout orders. The staff are always friendly, timely and knowledgeable about their menu. Deep red walls, wide-plank floors, framed portraits of people long gone, a fireplace; this place has the kind of character you simply can't manufacture. Add a live jazz duo playing piano and upright bass in the corner and the atmosphere is close to perfect. We settled in at the bar, which has a decent whiskey selection, and started with cocktails. We also shared the kale and butternut squash salad; we asked them to add a goat cheese medallion from their spinach salad, and honestly it was the right call. That bright, creamy note was exactly what the salad needed...or maybe what I needed. I do love fried goat cheese on a salad. Either way, it was perfect. Then came the cranberry rolls, which were the quiet star of the afternoon; crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. Don't skip these. For mains, I had the breakfast skillet, which is essentially everything but the kitchen sink loaded into a cast iron pan. Heavily loaded with meat (Arby's would be jealous), homefried potatoes with satisfying crusty bits, a couple over medium eggs, and served sizzling hot. The cheese sauce draped over the top was lighter than you'd expect, landing somewhere between a béarnaise and a classic cheese sauce; it kept the whole thing from getting too heavy. It took a while to work through, and that's not a complaint. My partner had the butternut squash and brown butter sage ravioli. It was well-cooked, flavorful, not too rich, though a little more sage would have put it over the top. The bartender had a good sense of humor and clearly knew his way around the bar. The problem was that he was doing too much; he appeared to be his own bar back, serving the six people at the bar, waiting on the tables within the lounge area, and it appeared he was covering other tables outside of the lounge area as well. He was often away, and with salad plates, appetizer plates, and menus sitting in front of us long after they were needed, the clutter added up. Pre-bussing costs nothing and makes a real difference. Tighten up the staffing model and this place is a very easy five. If you're in the area, you should stop in and check it out for yourself. I'm not sure if the jazz duo on Sunday brunch is a regular occurrence, but if it is, you should definitely make a point of it. They were wrapping up around 2:30-3:00 and it made the whole afternoon feel like something a little more special than just brunch.
