Cast Iron Killer two eggs over homemade corned beef hash and homefries
    Srinithi R.

I came in after a run with my friends. We came in during rush hour but were seated right away. It is a small diner with some high tops and booths. They had an extensive breakfast menu. I got the over easy eggs on corned beef hash with some slices of potatoes. I really enjoyed my meal. I do want to try the eggs Benedict next time.

James is always a solid pick when it comes to breakfast. I love all their "real deal" dishes and they also have delicious pancakes. The restaurant is also super cute and very good service! Today we got one of my favorites, the "cast iron killer" and apparently everybody was craving it! Also got their hashbrowns on the side to put on top to add more crunch. So good

The food was great, not the kind of gravy I was expecting but great all the same. Service was friendly and fast. Bill wound up being higher than expected and did not tell me there was a $3 up charge on substituting the grits for home fries. Really clean and comfortable place to eat.

We were looking for a new breakfast place in the area and found Jame's. Very cozy atmosphere, great service (Lindsey were our server) and absolutely amazing food! We ordered the Bacon Benny, it tasted so fresh and rich! We are definitely coming back! I highly recommend this place!

My parents come here often so we decided to give it a try. Definitely cozy inside. Food looked amazing and menu has some cool stuff. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I went with a Sausage and cheese grilled bagel sandwich and a side of corned beef hash 1st they toasted it and didn't grill it. So the bagel was very dry. But they definitely put extra cheese and sausage on it vs most so that was good. But being so dry really hurts the quality They said the corned beef hash was homemade so I asked the server if it was good.... she said it was homemade... didn't say good... but I did get it anyway. It came as a big pile of mush... had a weird flavor to me. Didn't like it at all .. my wife didn't mind it but still not great. She started with the home made granola and fruit. Served warm in milk. She did like it. She ordered an omelet with Swiss and sun dried tomatoes. It looked very runny for an omelet and the cheese wasn't even melted. Its like they made scrambled eggs and then added in the tomatoes and Swiss. There was a side of wheat toast. It was huge and filled with butter. . Probably the best part of the whole meal was the wheat toast. Probably won't be back unfortunately.

Good food, great atmosphere, never rushed yet not ignored. Prices are reasonable. I really like that the cream cheese and jelly are served on the side in individual containers. The bagel was fresh and the right amount of chew and the English muffin was quite hearty, really thick, needs some butter to soak in before adding jelly. Someday I'll try it for lunch.

Great breakfast. Hash had a strange sweetness to it like a fruit addition. Waitress had no idea other than them putting bbq sauce in it.

I could not let anyone go there because of the food. Service is really good but that doesn't make up for the food.

While I did greatly appreciate that they use ceramic mugs instead of paper if you choose, I was disappointed in how it almost cost $10 for a nondairy latte. The second time I went I ordered a chai latte and found out they use the mix instead of making it from chai tea. Disappointing from a place that demands premium pricing. I ordered a chai tea instead and the water was so hot I had to order ice. I was with a little kid who also got a chai and disappointed they didn't offer that to him and instead gave me what I consider scalding hot water in a cup with a tea bag. Staff was friendly. I went to Unlikely Story in Plainville and got a chai latte made from real tea with almond milk under $6 last week. So again the prices at this Bakery are premium. I am willing to pay for premium if that is what I am getting and while the first time I got a latte it was tasty but I still am disappointed at the price point. The second time I went I sat at the bar in front of the espresso machine and was grossed out at how dusty the top of the machine is... because they have their to-stay mugs upside down on top of it. There was a layer of dust and there were dust bunnies hanging off it in my direction. There was a bit of dried splattered milk on it too. Basically, they need to clean that and it was not the type of dust that was just there for a week. Got a scone that I wasn't sure was either day old or overcooked either way I needed a sip of tea to get it down and I did not finish it because it just wasn't that great. Pretty sure the scone was over $5. While I want so badly to support a small business like theirs I don't think I will be back until I know they clean the machine more frequently.

I felt comfortable in the amount of questions they asked regarding cross contamination and how my food can be prepared. It's such a cute cafe to sit and chat with friends or just grab a quick drink. I even saw some people working on their laptops. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a gluten free roll and an Irish crème latte. Both were so so good. I would definitely return for another drink and meal! The only thing I would mention is that the parking is a bit tricky. It's all street parking and the recent pile ups of snow doesn't make it any easier to access a parking spot.

I ordered "The American" breakfast wrap, also offered in a bowl and I almost wish I got the bowl. It was by no means a bad wrap but I'm picky with my wraps so I think this was a wheat wrap which made it a little more grainy. They packed it full with egg and sausage so that was great. However, I do wish there was more scram sauce to taste because that is what made it different from the others. I also ordered the Iced cinnamon roll coffee and that was amazing! Definitely recommend.
