We wanted a quaint breakfast experience and this was just the place. The staff were lovely and welcoming and super accomodating. The food was cooked perfectly. My husband raved about how exactly right his eggs were cooked. He got the Irish breakfast and I got the Florentine omelette with a grilled orange/cranberry muffin. all so yummy! Extremely disappointed in this place. I ordered an omelet, and French toast for my colleague and I. Nothing about the order went correctly. I stated there was no maple syrup for the French toast and the woman said "did you put it on the order to include maple syrup?" I then said "we'll, I don't want to sound rude but doesn't maple syrup always accompany French toast" The woman went on to say "whoever packaged your order must have forgot" I then expressed that I paid for salsa, & specific ingredients for my omelet that were not included in the package, & the woman said absolutely nothing. All in all- I called the restaurant to express my concerns, the woman literally said "I don't know what to say to help you" I honestly never take the time to fill out surveys but this experience rubbed me the wrong way and I needed to share it. I'm sticking with 4. It's small and homey place. The waitress are always moving, taking orders, delivering food, but always making sure all customers are happy and not in need. The burgers are large, they actually fit the bun, I prefer naked fries, but these were tossed I. A but I'd flour, to give them crunch I'd guess, they were pretty good. Went to the place for our Mothers Day brunch. Excellent place to say. Absolutely hearty food. The potion sizes are so big and good. Everything from toast to home fries, omelets, french toast was great! Coffee was promptly refilled every time and so good. Amazing staff and owner, very friendly and pleasant. Ambience is casual cozy and quiet with absolutely no rush like regular breakfast places. There is outdoor seating as well to enjoy during good weather. In all a PERFECT place. Quaint little town spot. We had breakfast there. Egg white, sausage and cheese and egg white, bacon and cheese. Both were excellent. Seems family owned. Patrons knew other patrons and the staff, so close knit community. We were passing through on the way to P Town. My brothers pancakes were undercooked and mushy, my mothers Texas French toast was cold and didn't have a lot of flavor, and my steak and eggs (which I asked to be cooked medium) was cooked well done-still tasted okay though. I have to start with the great... I had the special this past weekend.. which included goat cheese in my omelet and I couldn't have been anymore satisfied. Goat cheese in omelets is one of my favorite things, and they did it just perfectly. I never finish a meal, and my plate was empty. The toast was also perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of butter. I had home fries as well and they were tasty! My boyfriend had eggs Benedict and was equally pleased with his food... Now our actual service was okay, could've used an extra check in on beverages but that's not the issue we found... The issue was... not one guest while we were there, including ourselves was greeted or told how long the wait might be. The place is small, and there isn't a lot of room for people waiting, but the turnover on tables was extremely slow. We lucked out that a table was already cleaned and open when we walked in, but we watched couple after couple, group after group, come in and leave without ever eating... no one explained that they just needed to clear off a table real quick and they could be sat within a minute... or explained that a table would open in a few minutes. I felt bad these people were missing out on the goat cheese omelet, and a simple "it's going to be about 5 minutes" would change a lot of peoples minds and they probably would've waited! read more

My mother, daughter and I were shopping at the Wrentham outlets for the weekend and we're looking for a place for breakfast. This small restaurant was perfect for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Even though it's small we didn't have to wait, though it did fill up as the morning went along. The homemade corn beef hash eggs Benedict was delicious. The portions are a very good size. My mother and daughter got the pancakes and loved them. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I would give five stars, but there was some confusion about the Belgian waffles and if they were available or not and the inside could use a facelift. The potatoes are over fried. Hollandaise is silky, rich and somewhat broken. English muffins are pan grilled as opposed to toasted. (So much better) Linguica is dry but good. Wow I wanted to eat here and I finally got in and it is wonderful. It's like a slice of Mayberry RFD here. I was greeted with a big hello told to sit anywhere and I love how clean the place is and bright. I ordered a pastrami and Swiss it was so good NOT chewy and the roll was fresh. I order fries ( extra crispy ) and was impressed. The fries were hand cut and still had some delicious skin on them. I paid so cheap Then I realized the owner made fresh hot apple pie and it wa just out of the oven. So a glass of milk and some light sweet apple pie with super flakey crust ! One of the best breakfast places around in my opinion. They are so please and small bit they put so much attention and care into their food. We usually go on the weekends and sometimes it's a bit busy and e have to wait but it's totally worth it. My boyfriend and I never get a real meal, usually just side orders of everything... Pancakes, bacon, hash Browns, toast, eggs, corned beef hash.. you name it we get it. We have our own little breakfast buffet! The kitchen people has said may be a bit slower than most places but everything is made to order and worth the wait. My absolute favorite is the corned beef hash which is made with real corn beef and not mooshy like other places. Lastly is the service, our favorite waitress is Alex who we always seem to get. She treats us great always knows how crazy we get with sides and is always a great person to chat with. We love this place and is the only place we ever go to for breakfast. So if you are ever in the area, I would highly suggest stopping by its well worth your time. read more

I am beyond livid with my experience here. Not at the issue with my food, but how I was spoken too by the woman who answered the phone. I ordered a breakfast sandwich & hash browns for lunch today. The very small, conservative sandwich had a large piece of plastic inside that I pulled out with my teeth as I was taking a bite. I called the store to tell them and the woman was so incredibly rude. She said "okaaaayy..." long pause. Asked me what KIND of plastic???? Like does it matter? then "not sure what you want me to do about that, had nothing to do with me. Do you want me to like pass it along to the kitchen staff?" so I said "I don't know I guess an apology would be nice, since I paid $20 for your food and there was plastic in it??" I'm laughing while saying this to her, because I was just so in shock that she spoke to me like that. Then she tried to apologize. I really don't understand. If someone called my restaurant and said they found plastic in their food I wouldn't skip a beat to be apologetic, because they chose to spend THEIR MONEY at MY establishment. Just a thought. This is one of the nicer places in the area. Recently remodelled , it's just a pleasant place to visit. Breakfast is always great , although I generally prefer natural casing sausages I really do like the sausage patties they serve here. .. Coffee is very good. On a recent visit my daughter declared that the pancakes here could be the best she has ever had, and believe me she as had a lot of pancakes in her life. service is always great . Prices are a little higher than some other spots,, but I know from previous owners of this location the the rent and especially the electric bill is extremely high. Have never been for lunch but can definatly recomend breakfast here. Only suggestion is don't sit by the door on a cold day. Oh andFYI....
