Yummy. Spacious dining room. Plentiful. Variety. Comfortable. Friendly. Came with (2) kids under 2 yrs old (not mine) and the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. There was a small wait to be seated but it was noon on a Saturday... the walk to the bathroom to wash hands was lengthy! The place is much bigger inside than expected. Bathrooms were two separate unisex rooms. No stalls. :) Bathroom was clean enough nothing fancy, nothing worth noting. We were seated at a lovely window booth tucked away from the main dining floor and I was pleased with our luck as well as the sunlight given this gloomy winter in NE! I shared my booth bench with my super cute 2 yr old niece and oh Lordy, was I ill-prepared for what would be her public display & behavior before, during and after the entire meal service! Yikes! I have to say, the waitress didn't seem phased at all by the temper tantrums and despite the chaos going on at our table, she always approached quite calm, right on time and more than helpful each time! Kudos to the entire staff and patrons for not making me feel more uncomfortable than I felt inside. The food was very good. I didn't have my normal bandwidth to dissect the menu bc of the kids, but the words that I did get to read, the menu was substantial, detailed and with many good looking options for a variety of tastes. I opted for the #1 special just to order. 2 Pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 sides. I chose sausage. I believe it was around $13 bucks.. I also tried the Ricky seltzer. @ $3. Everything was yummy. My cousin's options were even more yummy, she got a bacon maple pancake and Hash dish. If I weren't so busy with the mini me, we could've easily finished our plates. We asked for 2 boxes and before we left I asked for a to-go cup for my specialty drink. I barely sipped it & it tasted so good, I didn't want to waste it. Not only did I get it poured in a travel cup, but the waitress had topped me off! That was the 5th star. :) I don't love the fact they use styrofoam and I would've loved grass fed butter for my pancakes instead of the prepackaged butter but all in all, I'd come back here again and again without thinking twice. Enjoy!

Yum! What a gem of a breakfast spot. I found them on Yelp and Village Griddle did not disappoint. We went in for a late breakfast on a weekday, we were seated right away. The employees were all very friendly! The only downside was it took 45 minutes for our food to come out. They were busy, but not slammed. Once the food did arrive it was delicious. I love a good corn beef hash and theirs is definitely homemade. It was awesome and I'll probably get it every time I head on in. My friend got the California benedict and it was also quite good. The home fries were seasoned well and came with a solid portion. I also appreciated how their white bread was a thick slice of Italian loaf. Also loved all their iced coffee options. Looking forward to heading in again!

Our server Dee Dee was so friendly from the moment we walked in, and you can see that she enjoys socializing with everyone who sits at her tables. The ambiance is a good combination of homey and classic diner. The food was tasty, high quality, and clearly made with care. Their prices are also affordable. We stopped in on the way to Providence from Boston, and will definitely return!

First time here and will be back! Breakfast was great, and the menu was fantastic. The waitresses were so nice and accommodating, and we loved the cold brew

Why I like Yelp & post: We we're heading to the Outlets this morning and wanted to try a new breakfast place. Once again, Yelp did not disappoint! I too would give The Village Griddle 5 stars. I had Banana & Chocolate Chip pancakes and my wife had Blueberry pancakes. (Sorry - usually do NOT post half eaten food).

A place I never knew of I was taken here one night for dinner. It is a place where you can look at…read morethe menu and then sit down waiting for the order to arrive. It is simple and plan. Nothing fancy. As it was, there were not many tables taken at that time yet. But within 30 minutes the place packed up. It was locals who know this is a the place to go, grab a beer or cocktail, then sit down and wait to see what you ordered. Burgundian is a meal to enjoy while having conversations with many others. We started with the IPA beers we ordered. They also had good German beers to select. There are even other European beers available. The list is endless to have. First up to arrive was our Traditional Canadian Poutine. This is House Fries served with Cheddar Cheese Curds, hot beef gravy and fresh scallions. This can be a meal unto itself and is ideal with the beer. We also received a kids meal for a little one. It was chicken fingers and fries. It was so large an adult could have had this for dinner. There was enough left for the next day's lunch. It was fresh, tasty, breaded, and warm. Ideal. There was also Burgundian App Sampler Platter. This was a mix of 2 Arancini, 2 Halloumi Cheese Sticks, 2 Crispy Polenta "Fries" , 2 Wings served with a choice of dips. Again, it could have been a dinner, but with others it was a good dish to share while waiting for the dinner to arrive. We started with US Staycation Burger, switching the beef with chicken. It had melty Three Cheese Blend, Shredded Lettuce , Pickles, and topped with Burgundian mayo. Naturally there was a side of fries and a small salad. It was fresh and tasty and had a flavor to enjoy. Naturally, had to have Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles. Buttermilk-Fried Chicken Thigh coated in house seasoning. There was creamy Memphis slaw, a spicy sauce you can select and a good hot honey drizzle. The waffle was fresh and enjoyable and ideal for breakfast as well. This was perfect for dinner or breakfast or anytime of the day. One special they did have, and which is not easy to find, is a good Germany Burgundian Currywurst Sausage Dog. Made with a true grilled Knockwurst Sausage it is on a toasted roll that is topped with smoked gouda cheese and caramelized onions. There is curried ketchup which is a variation of what you do find when you order this in Berlin. It too had fries on the side. The taste was good. It was similar to what I remember when living in Germany. And it is a rare find in many restaurants. But here it was. And with a German beer, it was good. Overall, Burgundian is a place to find. It is not easy, but it is there. It is small and simple. You enter and order at the counter. You can go from Beer to a coffee. From an Appy to a meal. The portions are large. The prices are good. The team is good to work with, ask questions and help. This is not a fancy place, but they will take reservations. Your choice here. A true mix of flavors, and cultures, and ideas on what to have next. I will go back just for the Currywurst. Danke.

Parking: there is a small parking lot in front, and a parking lot in the back around the corner as well. Seating: different level of seating, not wheelchair accessible. Red chairs are not comfy. We haven't been here in about 10 years or so. certainly not since the remodeling. Reading the…read morereviews and how they seem to be be all over the place, we were curious to give it a go and see how much it actually changed. It was good! That being said our go-to dishes were, the Fenway Fable for him and the Yankee clipper for me I remember we used to get these in skillets. I know dishes like this are much more feasible though than having to care for cast iron. so the change made total sense. i'm not exactly sure how "homemade" the corned beef hash was though, but it was cooked up good. that was the whole reason why I used to get that dish because I love homemade hash. The prices were pretty spot on considering the price of everything seems high. Our waitress was attentive and we got our order quickly. we only ran into an issue when we tried to pay with cash lol! I guess we were there too early for her to break a $20 bill‍ (not her fault) All in all I like the remodeling! It has a fresh and welcoming atmosphere.

We had spinach and artichoke dip and calamari appetizer a few cocktails. We decided to split an entrée and save a room for dessert. Everything was great. The only thing I would change is the lighting. It was a little bright in the bar area for a Saturday night. Maybe just a little dimmer would make it a little bit more comfortable. All in all good experience!
