To enter the parking lot the right way, turn down Hobson St instead for access to their parking lot, which is behind the building. Street parking on Broadway is also an option. The spaces in the back lot are tight, so if you're rolling up in a pickup truck, good luck. Parking drama aside, Society Coffee Bar is a great little spot. The interior is cozy and well thought out, with bar seats, booths, and tables giving you plenty of options depending on your vibe. I'm not a fancy latte guy; I don't do the flavored syrups and all that. That said, they have a nice selection if that's your thing. I ordered a nitro cold brew and it was smooth and almost creamy the way a good nitro should be, with a bright, clean flavor. My one small gripe is that I couldn't find any mention of what coffee they actually use. I'd love to know the roaster behind the cup. For food, I had the Turkey Pesto Bacon sandwich on sourdough; it was the perfect lunch. Who doesn't love sourdough? Everything in it was balanced just right with nothing overpowering anything else. They have coffee and many flavor combos, and also offer a wide variety of non-caffinated beverages too. Then there is the pastries! The display case of Full of all the most delicious treats it makes it hard to choose, and it changes regularly! I went with a butterfinger cheesecake and I did not regret it. Beyond the fact that the coffee and treats were delicious and fresh, the owner is one of the nicest guys and you can tell that he truly loves what he does. He was very helpful answering questions about the menu and making suggestions. I will definitely be coming back.
