We have there around five times and love it there. The food, waitress and ambience is great there.

Food was good! Daily baked muffins are a must try- sooo good! Omelets were good and versatile! Home fries were real potatoes with amazing seasoning. Nice kids menu. bacon was perfectly done and soo good. Servers were friendly. We had to wait for a bit for our food, but well worth it. Ambience was modern and clean. Loved! My son and I visited the Knotty Pine Diner on a Sunday morning around 11 AM. We had to wait about 10 minutes for them to clean off a table before we were seated. I ordered the build your own omelette and added peppers, onions and cheddar cheese. This came with home fries and I opted for no toast. The omelette was cooked perfectly as were the potatoes, which were perfectly seasoned. My son ordered the meat lovers omelette with cheddar cheese, potatoes, and he also opted for no toast. He really enjoyed his breakfast as well. I ordered a coffee with my meal, which was good and hot and they came around asking if I'd like a refill. All in all I found the cost to be very reasonable. read more

I've been here a couple of times since it's opened, and both times I've been there it was a good time. The first time I went I got the 'Two/Two/Two' with french toast and it was real good. The french toast was battered well, and everything was cooked properly. Lots of flavor. The second time? Eggs Benedict and they were also amazingly done. Egg was yolky and mixed well with the hollandaise - and it's wonderful to see one that wasn't broken. Both times we went they were busy, but we were seated and served quickly and despite the busy nature of the restaurant we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The restaurant was very nice and clean, and while it was a bit noisy because of the customers, it was real nice. It's lovely to see good restaurants come to Taunton to enjoy. Thought I'd try the avocado & tomato eggs Benedict Neither the Tomatoes nor the avocado were grilled or even warm and the toast was dry... the presentation was amateur and the breakfast potatoes were too large and boiled with next to no seasoning. Lastly the sausage links were filled with fatty grizzle, I had to spit out in my napkin several times before abandoning the idea of finishing. Grand Finale....any breakfast specialty restaurant that doesn't offer REAL maple syrup isn't taking their business seriously , just sayin'! read more

So excited they're finally open! Food & Service were excellent. Jess was an amazing server. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and she even gave me a few tips for a trip to Portugal that I'm planning! =) I ordered the Avocado Benny and a chocolate chip pancake on the side for a sweet treat. The home fries were seasoned perfectly and the pancake was one of the fluffiest I've ever had. Can't wait to go back and try the homeade muffins. I'll definitely be a regular! read more

Been anxious to try this new spot and finally went yesterday (Saturday) morning. The place is brand new and sparkling clean, with extra high ceilings and a large bench out front to wait for your table. I checked in and had a fifteen minute wait, not too bad. The young lady told me to take a menu so I could see what they offer. Within the 15 minutes, my name was called and my friend and I were seated. The waitress came over almost immediately to ask for our drink order / coffee was excellent! I ordered eggs and hash with raisin toast and my friend had a veggie omelet. Mine was excellent; pretty sure the hash was home made, which is nice, and everything was cooked to perfection. My friend's omelet was chock full of a variety of vegetables and cheese; she said she loved it! The waitresses were very attentive and offered refills and checked to see if everything was ok often. Next time I am trying the blueberry pancakes that looked awesome! So glad there is a breakfast place like this in my area with a great breakfast menu!! Welcome Knotty Pine Diner!! Visited on Thursday morning for breakfast. Both hubby and I had omelettes. Him a western with cheddar and me a veggie with swiss cheese. Both had plenty of filling and were good. Both tasted like fresh eggs were used. Service was good with quick service and coffee refills as necessary. Coffee was average, not great but definitely not bad. Ambiance in interior was themed with pine panels which matched well with restaurant name. I liked the look however the place was VERY noisy. The walls need some sound dampening material which I hope the owner is considering. Pricing for meal was high in comparison to other breakfast restaurants in area considering food and coffee quality. Overall this place is a three star with four star potential if sound problem addressed. read more

I tried this place recently because it's closer than my usual breakfast place, which I love but a closer option for every once in a while would've been nice. Unfortunately the food was not great and the staff wasn't friendly at all. I figured maybe it's because they are new they just need to work out the kinks and I could try them again at a later date. Then today I see what I assume to be an employee of this diner berating a customer who had a bad experience there and posted a bad review (rightfully so if what the person who left the review said happened actually happened) on Facebook with her name for everyone to join in the bashing. I find this to be completely inappropriate and in the ugly world we live in today I'm not surprised you found awful people on the internet to join in your ridiculous behavior. You are a business that provides a service/food and guess what not everyone is going to like you or your food. I didn't. Maybe there should be more thought put into improving what needs improving instead of taking to the internet to be nasty for everyone to see. read more

What I witnessed today was absolutely ridiculous. I was in my car getting ready to go into the diner , saw a big Southcoast box truck pull up in front of building and 2 guys jumped out and one started to get the lift gate ready for whatever they were delivering, the other jumped up into the back of the truck to get this piece of equipment that they were delivering. Right about that time , The owner Brian (i believe) came out of the restaurant and started yelling at the 2 guys saying why the hell are you parked in front of my building, you should be over there. It not being a huge parking lot for a big Box truck to maneuver in , parked the truck for 5 minutes total. Delivered the piece of equipment and were on there way. I feel bad for his workers if he treats total strangers that way. I started my car and left, I will not be patronizing this man diner, not A1 PIZZA that he owns as well. Do better !! read more

Just had breakfast this morning, first time at this new restaurant. Staff was super friendly and the service was great too. We got seated right away (got the last open table) It was busy but didn't have to wait long for our food. I had the egg white veggie omelette with ham added to it. The ham was a bit too salty for my liking so I would change my meat choice. The potatoes were seasoned perfect. I would definitely go back again! read more

Just opened this Monday. Cute little spot. 14 tables. Friendly staff. Tried it Wednesday and the food was good breakfast potatoes were cooked completely no under cooked pieces. Ordered the western omelette. I was pleased to see that they cooked everything before throwing it into the omelette. Nothing more annoying than biting into raw veggies. I'm back on Saturday at 8 am and the place is already packed but the service was fast so a table opened quickly. This place has great potential I wish them luck. Keep up the good work. Picked up breakfast takeout... extremely skimpy on cheese in omelets, missing toast in two orders, and not enough syrup for pancakes and French toast. When i called to just let them know, manager acted like they didn't do anything wrong, was very rude, and crocodile apology was far from sincere, then hung up on me, saying i was talking down to him, also said he watches every order that comes out of kitchen. If this is their manager and food is skimped on like this, then I would never recommend this place to anyone who appreciates fine dining and also getting your money's worth, I'm not paying to be told they do everything right. And I shouldn't complain about one tiny slice of cheese in an omelet, or missing items in orders.... Obviously from the sound of the So-Called manager's voice and his rudeness, they are getting a lot of complaints. read more
