The one thing I love to discover is the little hole in the wall places. The little unassuming restaurants I find through word-of-mouth or through other people's reviews. I like to judge for myself, and this place is no exception. My husband and I were in town for a memorial service. We had not eaten dinner and decided to just find a place on yelp that people rave about. I was not familiar with the area so this place popped up with great reviews. We took a chance and it paid off! We blew right by the place twice because it didn't look like a restaurant, it just looked like a tiny old house with a few cars parked out in front. It has a very small parking lot, maybe up to a dozen cars can fit. There is a sign out front off to one side. We walked in and we were pointed to a booth. There are not many booths and only a couple of tables. There was only two other people in the whole place eating there. The walls are very plain and the booths were reminiscent of my grandparents picnic table. Plastic covering and all! The young man who waited on us was super friendly! We joked back-and-forth and the menus were given to us and as soon as I asked if breakfast were all day, and he said yes, I knew exactly what I wanted! There are plenty of options although I didn't see anything on there for gluten-free. Not that I am but I know others would want to know. Basically it's a straightforward menu and I do believe this is a Guatemalan restaurant? There are a few things on the menu I couldn't pronounce but the ingredients in the dish sounded amazing! I just knew I wanted breakfast. They have the typical items for breakfast and the eggs were perfectly done, the home fries were a nice helping and the blueberry pancake was nice and light and fluffy. The coffee was great. I do believe it is small family owned and run. The two people we did speak to who were working there at the time we're a very kind and accommodating and breakfast was done quickly. I definitely recommend this place. On a sidenote the only thing that I found was that when I left, my clothes and my husband's clothes had a strong odor of diner. But that's to be expected in a small enclosed area. We were going home anyway so we didn't care. We went there about six or 630 at night but I can imagine on a Saturday or Sunday morning that place must be hopping! He did say it does get busy. They do have takeout available. Definitely worth a try and if I'm ever back in the area I will be revisiting!

Stepping into Kozy Kitchen is like visiting grandma's cozy home. Christian greeted us like we were old friends. It was obvious that he knew all the regulars but he still took the time for conversation with first-timers, like us. The short stack of blueberry pancakes was fluffy and had a good amount of blueberries. The fried eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection; and the delicious hash browns had a light sprinkling of sea salt. Coffee was smooth and Christian made sure the cup was refilled regularly. Breakfast prices are reasonable. Check out the Guatemalan breakfast specialties. We can't wait to return to Attleboro to try other menu items at Kozy Kitchen.

I decided to try Kozy's fish and chips as the place I always ordered from was out of fish, (on a Friday at 1pm). This was the best decision I made today and I won't be getting fish and chips from anyone else as long as Kozy is in business. A giant portion of lightly battered, perfectly cooked fish, crispy fries and yummy cole slaw arrived in 30 minutes and easily fed two people. I also ordered onion rings which were also perfectly battered and cooked. I look forward to trying other things on the menu.

LOVE Kozy! Food and service is always great! Our favorite is the Mega Desayuno Chapin. So savory and the perfect combo with the Picamas hot sauce they have there. Christian and his mom are the most genuine, loving, kind people. We love them and their food

We called them from the hospital up the street because we are looking for someplace to have breakfast in the cafeteria at the hospital is closed. They said yes they were open and they serve breakfast all day. I said we will see you in a few minutes. We drove the mile down the street to the restaurant they were very generous and held the door open for us as I am on crutches and seated us right by the door so I didn't have to walk far. They brought our coffee and waters right away. They were very friendly the menus were very clean there's not many people in the restaurant just three other customers in another booth and then one person getting takeout. They could seat six booths of four and they also had additional seating of tables and chairs in the back room. They took our order and within 3 to 5 minutes our food was on the table in front of us. It was hot and fresh and delicious. My other half got sausage and eggs with onion home fries and rye toast. I got a bacon and egg sandwich with cheese on raisin toast. I did not get home fries as he always doesn't finish his so I always split it with him. Everything was perfect we are looking forward to going there again to try lunch and maybe some night for supper. Everyone was friendly from the first and seated us to the cook to the person that served us. Super friendly place and absolutely clean. They also had partitions in between the booths and at the front counter they really went above and beyond protocol. This is definitely a hidden jewel of Attleboro. Located at the end of O'Neill Boulevard on Maple Street. Can't miss the restaurant. Everyone should try them and you will definitely love their food and clothes in my pictures I put our breakfast as well as their menu so you can see how reasonable their prices are.

Came here this morning for breakfast, it's a quaint building with a handful of tables. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We had the French toast and eggs with home fries and toast. Eggs were perfect and the French toast was Texas fluffy. And the coffee flowed so much in fact I had to cut myself off! Bacon was good as well, not fake or microwaved! We will be back!

A friend recommended that I try this place for breakfast. It was a nice clean place when I entered and I was immediately seated. The menu was simple and the prices were very affordable which was good. I ordered the steak tips with rice, beans, tortillas and salad. The food was delivered fast and was hot and fresh. The steak was seasoned really well and the rice was light and fluffy. Overall the meal was great and the prices were very affordable. I highly recommend giving the Kozy Kitchen a try if you are ever in the area!

Chicken parm with spaghetti and garlic bread

My husband and I used to live in North Providence, and we enjoyed going to Santoro's for their chicken parm dinner. Come to find out Kozy Kitchen's owner used to work at Santoro's, so we definitely had to check this spot out! We have tried a couple of things including their pizza (not pictured) and have found them to be very similar to Santoro's in North Prov. Onion rings are delicious! Kids cheeseburger is huge. And everything seems to be very fresh and and tasty. The nachos were made with fresh chips and shredded beef. The owners are very nice every time we visit and we enjoy the Guatemalan offerings as well! Give it a try if you're in the area:)

Cheap, chewy steak and a server with an attitude. Not a "kozy" environment. Food was not fresh, more like microwaved. I will never go back.

I got the fisherman platter which included fish and chips, perfectly cooked fried nice and crispy fries, with fried clams and fried scallops. Fries were perfect and came with a nice little coleslaw cup too. Couldn't finish it! My buddy got a baked stuff lobster and that took a few minutes. It was stuffed with scallops! We sat outside at one of two little tables. It was a nice day, very pleasant out and quiet a few locals came in to grab take out. The place is well regarded. The owner's dad was cooking, and his girlfriend Kathy I believe ran the counter and both were super nice to talk to. Told us their story. Everyone has one and it's always nice to hear how people come to do what they are doing. Very small store and other than the 2 tables outside it's take-out. Has a case with some items and T shirts. I almost bought one, but they didn't have any XL today. It's located in a little plaza not far from Attleboro that has the Chartley Country store. It's not near to me but it was a fun drive, a good time and the fried fish is fresh and yummy.

There are no trendy menus, no upscale atmosphere, and no attempts to reinvent fish and chips. Honestly, that's part of its charm. I've been coming here for years, and I have to admit that I am probably the least adventurous customer they have. Every time I visit, I order the same thing: fish and chips and a cup of white clam chowder. When something works, why mess with it? The fish is always crispy without being overly greasy, despite what some reviews might lead you to believe. The portions are generous, and the fries have always reminded me a little of the fries served at Wright's Farm. I'm not sure exactly why, but every time I eat them, that's the comparison that comes to mind. The clam chowder is also very good. As a lifelong Rhode Islander, I'm firmly in the white chowder camp, and theirs is done right. It's flavorful, satisfying, and pairs perfectly with the fish and chips. The setup is simple. You order at the counter when you walk in, they give you your number, and you grab a seat in the dining room while you wait for your food. It's efficient, straightforward, and keeps things moving. The staff has always been friendly, and I've never had an issue with service. Another plus is the value. The prices are very reasonable, especially these days when it feels like every restaurant meal costs twice what it did a few years ago. You get plenty of food for your money, and I've never walked away feeling disappointed. Parking is easy thanks to the large lot, which is a small thing that becomes a big thing when you're hungry and just want to get inside without circling the block looking for a spot. We usually stop in every few weeks, and that's probably the best endorsement I can give. If a restaurant keeps earning repeat visits year after year, they're doing something right. This isn't a destination for fine dining, and it isn't trying to be. It's a comfortable, reliable spot serving good fish and chips at fair prices with friendly people behind the counter. Sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for. Four stars.

When I arrived, around 3pm I was one of only 2 tables there. It's counter service and the teenagers taking my order were respectful but not overly kind. They didn't tell me I needed to wait for my order as they wouldn't call it out. But, I digress. The restaurant itself is small but clean. Dated in a cute way. You can tell they've been in business for a long time and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I had seen online that they had a scallop and shrimp plate but that wasn't offered today so I settled for shrimp and fish along with a cup of chowder. All this and a bottle of soda cost $40. Not an amazing price but I thought it was reasonable as a treat. My food came out quickly and I started with the seafood chowder. This chowder is amazing. Very creamy, decadent, and full of fish. I can not recommend it enough. The shrimp were also delicious. They were fried very well and moist. Not greasy at all. I recommend those as well. I have conflicting thoughts on the fish. On one hand I know that the English preparation is a heavy batter. I'm okay with that. But this batter was borderline soggy. No crisp to it whatsoever and the fish inside was completely lost to the breading. Which was honestly too bad because the fish itself was nice and flaky. Do I recommend Ye Olde Fish and Chips? Sure. I like supporting small business and I in they add a lot to the area. Would I get the fish again? No. But I will be first in line for the scallop and shrimp plate if it ever comes back to the menu!
