This chili is the real deal. Ordered it for takeout and it did not disappoint -- rich, sweet-and-tangy sauce with tons of tender brisket packed in, plus a hearty scoop of beans. They don't skimp on toppings either: shredded cheese, red onion, and banana peppers piled generously on top, giving every bite a nice sharp kick against the sweetness of the sauce. It came with a solid tortilla chip trio for scooping, which was a nice touch -- held up well and didn't get soggy on the drive home. Portion size was generous, flavor was balanced (not too sweet or spicy), and it's clear why this is their signature dish. read more

Hubby and I wanted a steak place that was not a chain. We were in the area and checked on Yelp and found this place. The service was great everyone from the time we walked in till we left was friendly. The menu had many great selections to choose from. I ended up having the steak tips and my husband had the ahi tuna. They had a good selection on their drink menu also including specials. If you're looking for a new place that is not a chain I highly recommend this place read more

I have been to Wetherlaine's multiple times in the past several years, this last time was very disappointing. I ordered buffalo shrimp and this is the second time I got only 9 shrimp and I wanted blue cheese and got ranch. I also ordered buffalo chicken alfredo and the portions of chicken were so small that I had to cut 1 in half just to get 2 bites. The prices went up about 20% and the amount of food went down. read more

Just about the best burgers and fries ever. Our server, Jane, is terrific. Highly recommended.

Haven't been here in years and my wife wanted it for Mother's Day dinner. I called up to place an order and the girl on the phone kept saying "what?" "huh?" and was extremely rude. Place was packed due to it being Mother's Day. Lady behind the bar was pulling her hair out due to food orders and drink orders, but she was super nice to the customers. My pasta and chicken was bland and had no flavor. They got my wife's order wrong, got mashed potato instead a baked potato and got a whole 5 pieces of meat (got medium when I asked for medium rare) in her steak tip dinner. If you are spending $25 for a dinner, could you spare it? We spent about $100 for dinner for 4 of us and it was a total waste of money. Years ago, we would have Weatherlaines almost every other weekend and thanks to this, we won't be going back again read more

I had the Prime rib special (only thursday nights) hubby had the sirloin! Both dishes were very tasty and not over seasoned(something we have walked out or restaurants for). The menu was very reasonably priced compared to most restaurants in the area & the service was spot on! Our waiter checked in with us a few times as she walked by not being invasive while being engaging enough totally plan on going back! oh and I also got a seasonal drink special that was an apple cider Margarita. That was really good oh and I all most forgot the onion rings.... so good with the batter on those, I can't wait to try their whole belly clams read more

For my sister's birthday, we decided to stop at Wetherlaine's Restaurant for an early dinner as we had tickets for a night event at Capron Zoo, located down the street. To start off, I ordered an apple cider sangria, which was one of their fall special drinks. It was SO good and well balanced. We then ordered potato skins, which was cheesy For entree we decided to share the sirloin & bleu flatbread and mac n cheese. Flatbread was yummy and the mac n cheese tasted almost exactly as Panera's mac n cheese. The only thing missing is the french bread on the side Overall no complaints and service was great! read more

Very good food. I really enjoy this restaurant. Very Good entrees. Friendly staff. Great service. Very clean and nice restaurant

Really great local place with plenty of choices. Nothing fancy, just a local spot but the waitresses are super kind and the food is decent. We have a toddler and they've always been really kid friendly for us. The front room can be dark but I notice they tend to put families in the little bright area by the back door which is perfect! read more

My husband and I went yesterday for our anniversary. First and last time we will eat there. Calamari came out within minutes and was cold. My husband ordered chicken broccoli Alfredo. That too was cold. We would of had a better anniversary dinner at Papa Ginos. read more

3 is a push. Its dated. The food was bland. Marinated steak tips... but i have no idea what they were marinated in. Everything was bland. The potatoes, the steak, the drink, no wow factor. read more

Service was great and timely. We did not wait long for our food. The food really impressed me, I was not expecting it to be so good! The decor is so tacky and the menu is a little random, it caught me off guard that it is 'homemade' to order. Ambiance is cozy and laid back. Good place to bring kids. I will be coming back to eat. I recommend the steak tips. read more

Wetherlaine's Restaurant - Steak tips and bbq chicken, grilled zucchini, roasted potatoes. Chicken sandwich in back. - American Near Me - Attleboro, Massachusetts

We ordered 4 Fishermen Platters and 1 regular fish and chips over $120 order plus tip! This was the most disappointing meal we've ever had here. I've raved about the great meals served here on my ELITE YELP posts in the past and I was very surprised at our first take out order. The fish was not done! The breading fell off the shrimp and scallops and the only redeeming factor were the fries and clams. Even after putting the fish and shrimp and scallops in our oven it was no better. Although the service was efficient the quality of food was subpar and not our usual experience here. I wish I could get a refund but these are trying times so I'll take the hit but I'll wait for you guys to reopen to eat here again. Take out service needs serious attention. I hope your paying your cooks well because this order didn't reflect that. Do better. read more

Great food every time I order! I typically will have takeout but even sitting down for a good meal there feels like home.

save your money, food is horrible, and way overpriced, the bartender should not be dealing with the public where she has no people skills at all. we won't be going there again. gotta be pore management. read more

Wetherlaine's serves good food in a mediocre manner. They would do well to offer less items and make them better. I had the harvest bowl which was okay, my son had the clam strips that he liked very much. We also had a cup of NE clam chowder that seemed to have cheese or a flavoring not typically in that kind of chowder. Wait staff was great. read more

The clam chowder had almost not done potatoes, mixed with fully cooked ones....very little clam. There was a tangy(lemon)taste I have never experienced in clam chowder. The "bowl" was the size most places call a cup. The side dish(sauteed spinach)was blanched, not cooked. I could barely cut it with a knife, so took most home and re-cooked and added flavor(garlic, pepper, and flavored olive oil). Much better. My husband liked his spicy tuna dish, but it came with two sides. He ordered one side of spinach, and then a second one(for me), but we were served a separate side-in its own dish-and charged full price(so he forfeited a side). Service was slow. read more

I have a gluten & dairy allergy and ordered a build your own burger on a bed of lettuce, caramelized onions with no bun. I told the waitress I don't need a side, just throw some bacon on the burger instead. The bacon was gross, it was bacon bits that were so hard itd break your teeth. Give me whole real bacon not that crap. The burger was so greasy all the lettuce underneath was wilted and there was a puddle of oil under the burger. It literally made me sick. I WAS CHARGED $25! For that. $25, for a burger with no bun and no side. Everyone else around me ordered burgers that came with sides and had far more toppings and their burgers were only $15. Makes no sense. I felt ripped off. Plus the burger made me ill. Won't go back read more

Always a good lunch place. Service is long time professionals. And I enjoy a local place like this; welcoming and warm.

This place was good but not great. If I were only eating the fries, I would give this place a ten, but I'm not. The ambiance was pretty dark, but the service was good. However, the burger was very big, and they used weird bread. read more

We went there last night,Saturday night. It was busy which is a good sign. We started with the cauliflower app which was huge and delicious! The service this evening was subpar Unfortunately the waitress was not her nice self. Had attitude tonight which was very disappointing. Have come here several times but unfortunately not any time soon. Last thing I need is attitude after long day of work. She chose this job and we were not rude at all ..... some of the food was served cold to the touch. Chose to not send backas it is not her fault and I didn't feel comfortable sending my meal back to be reheated. read more

The ambiance is quite in the back. I ordered shrimp scampi with cayenne pepper . It was medium heat. I added parmasen cheese, salt, and pepper. My husband had the whole belly clam plate. Super nice waitstaff. VERY cozy (decorated for Christmas!). House margarita good value ($10) gives you 2 pours. Fish delish BUT portions for food items tiny (probably why prices decent). Value is ok - again, disappointed at size of very small portions. read more

Place is old school. Reasonable prices great quality ,generous portions ! Always consistent.

The atmosphere was very casual. The restaurant was clean. I was very impressed with the menu and the food. I personally liked how everything was extremely simple. I ordered the It was simply dressed. It was rice and I ordered also were cooked perfectly, I am the type of person who likes simplicity! The fish was extremely fresh and as I said, it was a very menu so you could really taste flavor the natural flavor of all the food.It was definitely worth the money. I would recommend anyone to go here for a very well cooked and flavorful food without a ton of extras. Everything on the menu was priced extremely affordable. Sorry this review is late it was from August I've been very busy plus I work nursing so we do not have a lot of free time and wish to post that all the things I have to post. I was not very impressed with the meal had been a many years ago I felt the restaurant was a bit overcrowded. We had gone there with our daughter and husband after her doctors appointment expecting our new grandson in September. I felt very rushed and hurried from the restaurant the food came it was definitely not of the quality that was used to of Weatherlaines but because my daughter was paying for everything I didn't say a word I just ate a couple bites and left it they seem to be OK with what they had a husband and her stepdad had a burger. His was a little undercooked but it was a clubs him to get it could probably would've had to send All back to go apart again and it just seems like a waste of time. Not too long after they gave us our food they brought the checks over without even asking if we want a coffee or a dessert or if we had anything else you'd like to get. I just felt rushed so as such have not gone back there again. Not sure when I'll go back or if I will go back but I probably will go back eventually since I would go there before many times before Covid and was never rushed out of the restaurant like I was that night. Hopefully things will get better. read more

Standard bar fare food. Steak tips, potato skins etc. however they do have a very large menu including fish & Chios and pasta. It's great for fast takeout. It does get crowded but mostly at the bar area. It's worth a visit but it's clearly not a high-end restaurant and it doesn't pretend to be high-end either. Hi and grab a beer and some dinner with friends. A friendly atmosphere. read more

Food is great especially their French onion soup. Atmosphere is very comfortable. Service is very polite.

I'm sorry but the chili they make would sustain me for life. We did come in while it just opened. We just went to the bar and while the girls were prepping they didn't ignore us and were friendly as ever. The food portions are perfect. Just enough. No leftovers but that's okay because not everyone even eats leftovers. I grew up in Attleboro and never went here. Now that I live in RI it's a nice special treat read more

This once amazing restaurant has gone down hill fast The service was exceptional but the food quality was very subpar. Second time eating here since July. That time was not very good either. Decided to give it another shot. My grilled chicken avocado club was disgusting to say the least. It was large chunks of avocado on dry bread. The grilled chicken was like it said GRILLED like on a grill. Both sides were over cooked and brown making for a tough to bite into. The inside of the chicken was extremely dry. My friend had a bacon cheese burger ordered WELL done. It arrived with a piece of cheese that was over cooked and hardly melted. The burger was still rare inside when she cut it in half to check the wellness. It was sent back and returned well done. Obviously it was the same burger (because the cheese was worse and it was still cut in half) and how do you cook a burger on just one side. They did replace the bun! Both orders came with fries which were probably the worst we've ever had. They were NOT crispy, yet soggy like if they were sitting in a take out box or something. I usually have enough food for leftovers but I opted not no eat 3/4 of the meal. When the waitress asked me what was wrong, I told her. She was able to get it taken off the bill. I wasn't looking for a free meal. Waitress was tipped well but will definitely not be returning to this once amazing restaurant read more

Tonight wasn't a great satisfaction from this restaurant! I occasionally order from this particular place because it's close to home but recently the server that I spoke to and placed an order had an attitude.! Not sure why but she hung up on me it must of been an accident but if it was I would think she would call me back knowing my phone number! She did not I replaced the call to make sure the order went through and again I was treated as trash I decided not to call back they obviously don't want the business and I don't feel like I should be treated this way. I hope the owner or persons in charge take care of this situation because I think they will endure a lot of losses considering a small town and everyone talks yes I understand the establishment is geared to the older generation but what about the young? I wish you the best and straightening out the negativity over there!!! read more
