My husband had a S'mores martini and we both ordered the campfire grilled steak and cheese sandwiches. They were very tasty. Loved the mozzarella bites. Loaded with cheese and a delicious crunchy coating. The appetizers all looked really good. Debated on ordering just from the appetizer section rather than the entree menu. Ended up going with the hog+hen burger. The burger was okay and the fries were mid-tier. However, the pork on the burger tasted really good. Also was able to try the soup of the day, soupa tuscana. The soup tasted mainly of cheese and was the most thick soupa tuscana I've had. Wasn't the biggest fan of it either. Decided on here with some family before a concert and we had a great experience. There were 6 in our party so we made a reservation but I don't feel as though it was needed. Cute place. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival on a Saturday night. Server was friendly and the manager came by to ask how everything was as well. The S'mores martini was fabulous! I got a special, Orange Marmalade glazed Salmon. It was cooked just how I like it, on the rare side. Pros- while I was picking up takeout, the restaurant looked like a nice place to dine-in. Parmesan truffle fries were good (made with truffle oil). Cons- did not like the food. Went here as a party of 7 at a very busy time. Took a few to get seated and service was a little slow due to the crowd but food was excellent and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Once for lunch a few months later- food was unseasoned, not even salt (chicken sandwich and some other sandwich). Then a few months ago- we were seated, ordered drinks, and when we went to order food we were told most of the menu was unavailable. Had we known that we never would have sat down. New restaurant in the area and the food looked amazing, so we wanted to give it a try. 1st I will say place is very cool looking. Ambiance is nice! I started with the fried Mozzarella. They were some of the best I've ever had! For my meal, I ordered the short ribs grilled cheese. I added extra cheese and it was delicious, it could have been a bit hotter but flavor was great. The fries were food, but definitely could have been cooked a few minutes longer. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very good, same issue with the fries. It was so cold some employees were huddling up by the fireplace blocking all the warm air! *I have a gluten and dairy allergy, the first time I ate here I got the chicken rice black bean corn bowl (I forget the name) and I got so sick after. Definitely tasted like it had butter in it. The rice was hard and not cooked though. I decided to give it another shot- The second time I ordered the 9oz ribeye sandwhich with no bread and broccoli for a side. First off there's no way that ribeye was 9oz, it was sooo small and thin! Maybe 4 ounces at best. Total rip off. I asked for it to be cooked medium which it wasn't. Probably cause it was as thin as paper. It was so incredibly salty I could barely eat it. And I love salt. The worst part was My entire plate was swimming in a pool of oil. Broccoli and all. It was seriously gross and unappetizing. Made me feel sick. *our meals didn't come out at the same time. Half of the table got their food first while the other half waited a while for the rest of the food to arrive. *the tap water is nasty & tastes like metal which is surprising cause Rehoboth is all well water. Manager without asking us brought outdoor resin tables in & set them up for our scheduled reservation & then proceeded to try & seat us stating he didn't want us to wait. He should have asked first because this was not okay with our party. We were not okay sitting indoors at resin tables pulled in from outside, when we had a reservation made well in advance for a party of 8. We declined & stated we would wait for the appropriate table to be ready. Some of our party witnessed one of the hostesses roll their eyes in frustration as they had to help bring the tables back out because we had declined the set up. First off, that is rude & very unprofessional but goes back to my comment about we weren't asked. The manager should have approached us with his idea & asked if we wanted that set up or wanted to continue waiting. Not our issue that the staff had to set up & take down the tables. Our waitress was not very attentive. There were several times things were forgotten & we had to ask a few times. Understandable that it was a busy night but added to already frustrated situation. Overall our party did not enjoy their meals. One person's dish was forgotten & when it finally came, it was clearly rushed to be made & made sloppily so it was sent back via the manager. We really, really enjoyed this restaurant. We didn't have a reservation but despite it being very busy, they quickly found us a table. The seats are very comfortable. Christian was our excellent and attentive server. The menu had many great choices and each one we thought was delicious 1. Fried mozzarella 2. Sysco at it's best. I should have read all the reviews before checking this restaurant out. My husband and I were looking to try a new place to eat. The restaurant has a nice dining area. It looks clean. The service was flat. There was more energy coming from the bar staff who were running out from behind their stations to hug their regulars as they were leaving. Small selection of draft beers, no ciders on tap. The food was not good. The chicken was rubbery, looked like a Tyson chicken skewer over dry lettuce. My husband ordered the pizza and asked if it was flat bread. The server informed him that it was not thin. He asked if it was deep dish thick and they said no. The pizza IS very thick. Pizza seems to be made on frozen bread, reheated, the ham was not cooked or matched the temp of the pizza, cheese barely melted and barely any sauce. I've seen better pizza for school lunch in public schools. All in all, it was $75 for two meals, an appetizer and drinks. We don't mind the price, but the price was not worth what you're paying for. read more

I'm actually really sad that I'm giving a lower score to Campfire. I was excited to check it out, excited to have a casual but hip local restaurant within 10 mins of home. Unfortunately, the food and the service fell flat. The waitress greeted us nicely and then kind of never came back, we had to flag her down to place our meal order and dessert. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which wasn't great mostly just mush. Then a plain cheeseburger which was fine (you can't really mess that up) but the fries weren't good at all I didn't even eat them. The whiskey sauce was good. The pizza was the thick bread kind which was ok but needed way more sauce. Our daughter didn't like her Mac and cheese and I actually noticed toddlers at the other table wouldn't eat theirs either. It's very garlicky and baked and disappointing that for $10 it didn't even come with a drink for her, they also served it in a super hot skillet! Why would you serve a child's meal in a hot cast iron skillet!!!! We had to quickly move it from her and make her wait for it to cool on a different plate. The best thing I had there was the s'mores dessert, which you literally put together yourself so no way to taint it. For a total of $115 , I was unimpressed and disappointed. The final thing that put me from 3 stars and maybe trying again, to 2 and not wanting to come back is that they charged just myself for 2 soft drinks since I didn't want any more sugar after having a coke and asked for soda water instead. I do not think I would come back, I'd rather spend the extra 5 mins and drive into Attleboro or Seekonk for their local places. I will say, they had a nice craft beer selection and I saw some people get entrees that came with mashed potatoes and green beans. It's so nice to have this comfortable upscale restaurant in our area, not a lot of choices in Rehoboth. The building is relatively new, nicely decorated with a large outside dinning patio. The food is very good as is the service. The inside room can get a bit loud but it is a pub style environment. The place is very popular so I suggest calling ahead. My family and I made a reservation, we were promptly seated at the high top booth and I absolutely loved how big the TVs were! They had tons of sports channels on but specifically with the big TVs it was very enjoyable to watch as someone who wears glasses and can struggle to see what's on a smaller tv. The prices were a little high, but the food portions were great! Plenty to take home for left overs! And the meal came out piping hot and my chicken parm was still steaming as I was putting it in the to go container! The big boy grilled cheese had so much brisket in it that it looked like two burgers, it was so good! Definitely the best around! I wish they would put the lobster and shrimp diavolo on their regular menu, we had it as a special and it was amazing and again, great portions!! The blackened salmon was great as well! Finally, a good restaurant around here! Will definitely be back to check out some other things on the menu! This place is definitely packed and busy though so i definitely recommend placing a reservation! My only complaint, i wish they had photos of their food online, sometimes it's better to see what you're ordering rather than reading the description! Eyes get hungry too lol! We got the "WARM FOCACCIA" appetizer. When it says warm, they mean warm cutting it open it was steaming. It comes with olive oil and cheese for dipping. For dinner we got handhelds "PULLED PORK" and "RIBEYE STEAK SANDWICH." The pulled pork was moist and tender but not drowning in sauce. It really was done well as it was flavorful with a hint of spice. The ribeye steak is cooked to your liking with caramelized onions and melted provolone cheese on a ciabatta roll.
