My food was fine, service was awesome, and the restaurant was clean. It's not a five star place so if you don't expect that coming in it will be ok.

A casual restaurant with good food. They have a decent selection of food. I really like their pot roast. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful when it came to the menu, and she had a lot of patience when it came to waiting on us. I truly appreciate that. Don't forget to check out their cute store on the way. They have some cute, very elegant, and fun items.

Wonderful family restaurant. Close to home cooking. My husband had the Oreo cheesecake pancake breakfast. I had the strawberry cheesecake pancake breakfast. I loved the fresh strawberries on top. Plenty of cheesecake filling. Crispy edges on pancakes. The particular dish was very good and not diabetes sweet. It comes with strawberry syrup which is a great compliment. Four stars only because the chain is starting to nickel and dime you. They charge for biscuits now. I'll return and I recommend

It's so good, we even have take outs!

This is our frequent "go to" restaurant whenever we are visiting relatives in Cleveland Ohio! The ambiance is homey, the food is yummy and the service excellent! Our 2 time server Emily M was warm, friendly and highly attentive with our needs. I just wish we have a branch in Brentwood, CA (northern cal) so for now, we are a daily customer at this awesome place! Thanks Cracker Barrel for having superb employees, excellent food and wonderful restaurants!

On a recent visit to my hometown, I decided to to try a familiar spot. I used to eat at this Cracker Barrel often when I was pregnant with my now 21 year old. So yeas, it's been awhile since I ate here or any Cracker Barrel. Free ample parking, easy to find as it's right off the exit 480. I forgot about all of the various merchandise that you see upon entering the restaurant. They have the nerve to have the Halloween stuff out already lol. We were greeted and seated quickly. Noah was our waiter.. he wasn't friendly nor was he rude either. I think he was just having a day and that's fine because he wasn't rude nor impatient. I ordered the French toast casserole with bacon and hash browns. My sister had the the Grandpa breakfast with pecan pancakes! I had a bite of those pecan pancakes... yes Mam sooooo good! I definitely wish I had ordered those. My French toast was good and the berries on top were fresh! Hash browns were just like I remembered them ... good lol. Overall my experience was good! Food was hot, good and came out on time. Budget friendly menu. Clean restaurant. I'm definitely coming back especially for those pecan pancakes yummy!

The Hostess was very rude and unwelcoming. The food was really good even though we did wait over 45 minutes. Makayla was extremely rude and disrespectful.

It wasn't that full inside, but it took a while for our food to come out. However our server was really nice and apologetic. The food itself was delicious and I'm always surprised how cheap it actually is!

Ordered food on the app for pick up. Was very easy. Even pick up was extremely easy. I ordered a new item, crispy chicken strips with steak fries and Cole slaw. The chicken was very juicy even with it being crispy. It was delicious with the crunchy texture. Unfortunately my fries got a little soft by the time I got home, but they were still delicious. I tried the seasonal plum ice tea that was beyond delicious. Both are a must try.

We absolutely love the store when you walk in, they always have the cutest home and garden decor, clothes, old school snacks and more. If only more restaurants offered a up front store while customers waited to be seated... I would be thrilled! Today I tried the buffalo back and cheese and chicken strips minus the tomatoes.. sorry I'm just not a huge fan of them.. The flavors came together nicely. The down side for me was I love my food hot and here it tends to come out more room temp.. my fault I forgot to ask them to bring it hot. The chicken was a little tough for my liking but it's because it's thin slice and seemed to just be that way.. would order again My daughter devoured her meal and says it her fav Mac and cheese! Our server was nice, seemed to be shy and fairly young! She did great with a full house! Keep up the good work.

    Is everything really made fresh?

I am not really sure but I know that whatever I get has always been good. Does not taste like it has been sitting under a heat lamp or reheated. Items such as the potato casserole or the apples are probably done in a larger batch.

The dish is drenched with their delicious and creamy gravy, which complimented very well with the spinach, mushroom, and turkey sausage chunks (extra). This is a huge portion and can easily be shared by two people! As for my sweet craving, I ordered a side of their Kid's Spelt Pancake (essentially a smaller version of the entree size), and the pancakes were made perfectly! The pancakes were fluffy, layered with small apple chunks for a nice, crispy crunch, and topped with a homemade whipped cream -- I could literally eat their whipped cream for days! It was super creamy with a light sweet aftertaste. If you're looking for a dangerous savory sweet combination, look no further!! The service was quick and the staff were incredibly kind. QUICK REVIEW (read this if you don't want to read this whole review): Try the potato pancakes. Great food and service. Slightly more elevated cafe. Busy during peak morning/afternoon hours and most likely less busy in the evenings. I have not been in the evening yet. Free parking lot and free wifi. FOOD - there are lots of food options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have sandwiches, salads, pizza, and pastries. I arrived around 10:20am so I wanted breakfast. I read that the croissants are okay but I haven't tried them. I ordered the potato pancakes, blueberry hibiscus tea (hot) as a dine-in order plus a slice of almond cake as a takeout order. The potato pancakes ($19) was delicious. It comes with 3 thick potato pancakes topped an egg on the center and with bacon bits spread all over. The potato pancakes also come with sour cream on the side which I didn't realize so I moved that to the side of my plate because I don't like or eat sour cream. I would order the potato pancakes again as a savory breakfast item but $19 is a little steep for the price. The blueberry hibiscus tea ($4) was a refreshing drink served on a mug. If you enjoy the combination of white tea leaves, rose hips, natural blueberry, and hibiscus then this tea is for you. I also ordered an almond cake slice ($6) but to go. The almond cake is a light and tasty cake with sliced/shaved almonds on top. SERVICE -- Friendly. Me and one of the shorter female employee had a nice laugh when I went down later in the day to order an almond cake. They started getting busy when I arrived after 10am on a weekday but I was able to walk right up to the front counter to order. The buzzer handed to me buzzed probably within 15-20 mins and I went down to get my order. I believe the tea that I ordered was ready first. Overall, I'll definitely be back. Prices are higher than a traditional cafe. The plus is that there is free wifi so it's a perfect spot to work on your laptop. The tables are big and the chairs are comfortable. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 99/250 total reviews in 2026 - 940 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026

I visited on a Saturday for brunch, and since they don't take reservations and the space isn't very large, there can be a bit of a wait during peak hours. Parking was probably the most frustrating part of the experience. Your main options are valet, street parking or parking in a city lot on a nearby street and walking over. It's doable, but not the most convenient -- especially if the weather isn't great or you're in a hurry. Once inside, though, the experience definitely improved. The atmosphere is cozy and lively without feeling chaotic, and the staff kept things moving despite how busy it was. The food was genuinely good and worth the wait. I ordered the shrimp and grits with chicken sausage, and it was flavorful, hearty, and clearly made fresh. I ordered 24K pancakes "with toppings" as a meal so it was around $20 and I thought it should've been way more fruit and whipped cream than it was for the price but that would be my only critique. One of the highlights was the drink menu -- especially the variety of mimosa options. If you're into brunch cocktails, you'll have plenty to choose from. I tried the lemon drop mimosa, which was refreshing, slightly tart, and a fun twist on the usual orange juice version. Overall, Double Nickel delivers where it matters most: tasty food and creative drinks in a cute brunch setting. Just plan ahead for parking and the possibility of a wait, and you'll likely leave happy (and full).

The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. What makes Scratch's French toast so good is that they don't use plain old white bread for it. Instead, they use sweet bread pudding, which makes for an utterly decadent and delicious breakfast. The pieces of bread pudding had crisp edges while being soft on the inside. They were topped with sliced bananas and a rich bourbon caramel sauce, and served with maple syrup infused whipped cream that was almost practically ice cream. The French toast also comes with your choice of sausage or pork belly. I opted for the sausage patties, which were tasty and homemade. I also ordered the orange juice ($4.50) and home fries ($3.75). The home fries were delicious. Crispy potato chunks that were the right amount of salty. Between the French toast and home fries, I left stuffed. Service was also great. My server was very friendly and welcoming, and came to check on me a couple of times. Notes - it's a small place with a couple of tables, but I was able to take a seat right away on a Friday morning. Every table comes with 2 bottles of hot sauce - a red sauce and green sauce. You pay at the cash register after you get your check.

I met a friend for breakfast this morning, and everything from start to finish was spot on. I ordered the Sweet Jalapeño Sandwich: an English muffin piled with jam, bacon, an egg cooked over medium, and cheddar, served with home fries. It was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just a little kick. My friend stuck with her usual: the Banana & Bourbon Caramel Bread Pudding French Toast, topped with fresh bananas and their homemade bourbon caramel sauce, plus a side of pork belly. It looked incredible and, according to her, tasted just as good as it always does. We arrived just a few minutes after they opened at 8:00 and were seated right away. The service was friendly, attentive, and very prompt without feeling rushed. Scratch has such a great casual, local diner feel, but with a menu that's anything but ordinary. The portions are generous, the flavors are unique, and the quality is consistently excellent. Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or brunch...you really can't go wrong here.

A few things to note if you decide to try it out: there are no reservations. Seating is first come, first served, and a line forms outside in the benches. Hop in line and expect to wait about 15 minutes. Very casual and smooth! Also, they take card but would appreciate if you paid cash to cut down on credit card expenses. You get a fun treat if you do! I started my breakfast with some freshly brewed coffee that they kept topping off throughout the morning. I also get some fresh fruit and the strawberries were sooo sweet! Get the fruit, because it's a nice snack while you wait for your meal to come out. For my entrée, I ordered two buttermilk pancakes and a side of eggs scrambled with cheese and the home fries. The pancakes were fluffy and the syrup was nice and thick. I loved how the eggs came out. They were cooked perfectly with cheddar cheese. And the home fries stole my heart. How a restaurant prepares their home fries sets the tone for me anywhere. They were seasoned very well and I could tell that they are a great foundation to the entrees on the house specialties menu. I will be returning to try some of the savory dishes very soon!
