Overpriced! I purchased a Patty Melt Sandwich, my mom purchased a Monte Christo sandwich. They were each $14-15 and that is all you get. No fries or sides. Just a sandwich. So my mom and I decided to order a side of onion rings. We received 8 onion rings for $8. About $1 per onion ring. My mom ordered a coffee and we both drank water. When we were finished our final bill (with tip) was $45. I am always willing to pay for a decent lunch yet this was too far out of the price range for what was acceptable. If these sandwiches were closer to $10-$12 WITH FRIES and possible additions or add-ons for a far price (I.e. upgrade fries to onion rings for $2-$3 more for example) would make this more acceptable. Looking at the menu and their prices the impression I get from this location is that their prices reflect as if their restaurant is an extension of LockKeepers prices and menu. It's a sad state of things as this restaurant has so much more potential because of its location in Valley View near the woods and trees of Cuyahoga ValleyNational Park and the MetroParks with the Cuyahoga River. Our server was a young female and she was incredibly nice, attentive and the most memorable part of this lunch. Which is why I gave them 2 stars. Service was excellent, the food wasn't memorable and the sandwiches are just average if not overpriced. Overall, I don't see myself returning here. I took my mom out to lunch and we tried it. I got a scrambled egg, has brown, bacon, sausage, ciabatta skillet mix with peppers and onions. It was pretty good, nothing amazing but I would get it again. The portion size was good. I also got a mimosa and coffee. Coffee was typical diner coffee and the mimosa was fine but they used pulp in their orange juice which I didn't love, but that's my preference. The service was average but the place is nice. It gets pretty busy. They have good hours which is why we like coming here. I heard the bloody Mary's were good but I don't try them because I'm not a fan typically. I wouldn't get the coffee again. read more

This place was around the corner from the hotel I stayed at so we decided to try it out. We went on Sunday morning , so we had to wait about 30 minutes. The time passed pretty quickly so the wait wasn't bad. This place is your typical diner with no frills. I ordered a Bloody Mary and my friend ordered a mimosa. The drinks were nice and strong. For food, I ordered the YT Medley which is pita bread with fried eggs, bacon, and melted meunster and American cheese. I really liked it and I would def order that again. My friend ordered a veggie omelet with cottage fries. The food and drinks were good. Our waitress was nice, but you can tell she was really busy. But overall, we had a good experience. After months of not visiting bc of the last experience having to do with the managers huddled in a circle, talking about guests and being pretty passive aggressive. I decided to give another shot. Walked in, was given menus to sit myself, which is fine. Proceeded to wait 15 mins for a simple hello. Our family has been going to Yours Truly since my parents started dating in the 80s and they have always said they loved the consistency of the menu and how it really hasn't changed! The food is always fabulous and well cooked! We always go for breakfast! Since both my sister and I are now married-our husbands get to experience it now and they always get the Killet Skillet! Make sure to get the Italian sausage for breakfast and the ciabatta toast! My families favorite choices!! And we absolutely loved how beautiful the nature walks were outside of the restaurant in the Metro parks! I thought maybe an off day, I came back again Sunday 2 days ago and the rock roll was as good as you would get at a fast food restaurant. I asked for The waitress was nice a little slow and there wasn't busy. I asked for medium and it came back well done, not sure if it was the waitress or cool who made the mistake. I asked for Asian veggies, and got over cooked dry veggies. They cooks do not know how to cook. Also went from $11 to close to $19. The quality of all the food was not what you expect. Nothing was truly spectacular here, nothing got my attention. It is a normal family-style diner with food that is okay, but the breakfast food especially, is lacking. The parking and entrance situation is a little odd. There is a side entrance that you can go in, and then there is a main entrance that gets you to the front and the hostess stand. Had a hard time finding the front because of the crazy amount of snow we got. As for the food, I ordered the eggs bruschetta. It sounded like it could be good and something different. I was expecting toast, some bruschetta, a few spinach leaves and eggs on top. What I received was a raw spinach salad, with no dressing, toast on the bottom, a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes, and eggs on top. I had to use a separate plate to take out most of the raw spinach from my meal. Now, that's fine and dandy, but it was a hassle and what I was left with after the mountain of spinach was lacking- it would have been great if there was less spinach or the spinach had been cooked down. If you check the picture you will see, there were two tiny pieces of sourdough toast at the bottom, all the rest of the plate was raw spinach. If you go I would try something besides this dish. My friends got the eggs Benedict which looked good, and the pancakes. I tried some of the pancake and they were average, a little chewy. Overall I think it's an okay place to meet with someone and talk over a cup of coffee, but the food is nothing to write home about. read more

Another party member talked to the manager who didn't apologize, no follow up or discount for the issues just said they would check. It came out about 10 minutes later w no apology. Food was basic, bacon was very chewy -seemed leftover and it was 14$ for a small sandwich w no fries. This place was a mistake for sure. My wife order hash browns and specifically asked to have the hash browns more crispy and still was brought out not how she asked when brought to servers attention they came back with it would take too long to make right. My daughter order egg over hard and it came out burnt. Standing at the counter to pay ticket and no body helps you until you say something. Our server saw me standing there numerous times never came over until after another server helped me. This is actually the second time our family has came here thinking maybe this time it'll be different??? Nope it was worse. I wasn't gonna leave a tip but that isn't in me to do but our server MB definitely did not get our full tip I would of normally left.
