Friendly service and tons of seating options! Food was delish and authentic!! Loved the TOKWAT BABOY appetizer with the soy-vinegar sauce!

I've been scheming to get back here after the wonderful intro Yelp event and finally found a good opening to take my very picky parents. We came here to celebrate my dad's birthday and ended up impressing my parents' palette! We ordered: BBQ pork skewers, sisig, pancit with tofu, chicken adobo. Everything looked amazing, was plated deliciously and tasted so so good. Portions were very reasonable and menu was clear and very appetizing. We came on a Friday night with a reservation but the speed of ordering and being able to eat was quite slow. Most of the tables were filled up and there was only 1 server so I get it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our server comped our dessert as a birthday treat due to a miscommunication on the phone with a different worker so we all got to try halo halo! It was...quite strange! The shaved ice would work better if the flakes were snowy and not so chunky. We ended up putting the ice chunks on the side to avoid them, lol. The ube ice cream and random jelly chunks were fun to dig out! Another note is that the pancit upcharge for protein wasn't clear to us when ordering. We thought only the shrimp was $4 extra but that chicken or tofu would be included. Still fine that it's not but I would expect tofu or chicken to only be $2 or included since the cost is so much lower than shrimp. We would still totally come back to try the other dishes and best of all, my parents were very happy with their meal and discovery of this place. We all thought the sisig was the best dish of the night! We're thrilled to have a Filipino place not so far from us!

I've been slacking. Been here several times since they opened and I'm just now posting a review? Bad job out of me! Arguably the current staple of Filipino cuisine in Cleveland, you cannot go wrong by trying and patronizing Tita Flora's. She represents Filipino cuisine pretty darn well. An easy go to for Filipino comfort food in CLE. The dining room is well decorated with an array of Filipino art and items on display. Very homey! I've tried many (probably most) of the item in the menu, plus some of their rotating socials. My favorites: for first timers, you MUST try the pork sisig: small slices of cubed pork belly seasoned with spices, chilies, mayo, and topped with a raw egg on a sizzling hot plate! Oh, I could eat this everyday if heart disease and heart attacks aren't a thing Adobo: you have your choice of chicken or pork over rice. Personally, I love the pork. But you can't go wrong with either one. Nothing too exciting about this dish in its looks and presentation, but if there is one dish that epitomizes Filipino cuisine, it's adobo. Yes, it's plain. But it's also just damn plain good! Noodles: gotta try the pansit bihon. They also have pansit canton - again, can't go wrong with either, but I prefer the bihon. Savory with just the perfect peppery complement. Kare kare: this is a beef stew with peanut sauce and vegetables. This is one of their rotating specials, so you won't find it on the regular menu. But if you're they're and they're serving this, TRY IT! Tender beef chunks swimming in that tasty peanut sauce, complemented by fresh and perfectly cooked veggies! Go ahead! What are you waiting for???

I can't believe I've lived in Cleveland for 4 years and only just discovered Tita Flora's! I came here for an event and has such delicious food! The restaurant is so clean and spacious. But most importantly, Tita Flora is SO welcoming, sweet, kind, and obviously so passionate about what she does! You can also tell she's a strong pillar of the community. I literally plan to go back this weekend because my boyfriend tried my leftovers that I brought home and he was hooked!

long story short: quiet restaurant with delicious food We went here based on Yelp recommendations & we were not disappointed. The restaurant was completely empty except for us, but the service was phenomenal, as was the food. We started with the lumpia, which were hot & crispy & so flavorful. The pancit was good, if a bit bland; chicken adobe was perfectly sauced & tender. The sisig was amazing- melt-in-the-mouth pork with sweetness & sourness & savory-ness. The garlic rice was a nice addition to everything as well. Overall, the food was wonderful, as was the service. I hope more people discover this place!

There wasn't much else happening in this shopping center on a weekend, but reviews led me to this uncommon place. There aren't a ton of vegetarian-friendly Filipino restaurants, but when I've found them, it's always been an interesting experience. Here, I ended up with a tofu sizzler dish which came out piping hot and delivered a fantastic mix of sweet and savory notes with the occasional chili. I spent extra on getting a size of garlic fried rice, which was as delicious as you'd think. A raspberry tea served to watch things down. Having asked for a vegan dish, I saw no egg and no mayo highlighted on my check. And while the cuisine tends away from this direction, I think anyone who came here for a plant-based offering would feel just as indulged as anybody else. The hours were a bit limited, but I was perfectly happy that I worked this into my schedule.

Found this place from a yelp elite event and I genuinely can't stop going. Hole in wall filinpino place with the BEST PANCIT IVE EVER HAD. It's also the only pancit I've ever had but it doesn't matter because I'm obsessed and will always come back with my friends :)

My gf and I were craving some Filipino food since moving from CA. Thankfully, there is a spot here in OH that fulfilled those needs. I got the Longanisa plate and it went well with the fried egg and garlic rice. The waitress recommended we try out their cassava cake as it was featured by the local newspaper and I'm glad we did! Very cozy spot on a snowy day!

This may be the best kept secret in Cleveland. Every single dish set on the table blew me away and was served promptly. Please support this place-- you won't regret it!

I cannot say enough good things about Tita Flora's. The owner is absolutely the sweetest lady ever. The food was INCREDIBLE. I'm serious when I say I can't stop thinking about how wonderful our experience was. The noodles, the chicken, the lumpia, the sticky rice!!! 10/10!!!! I can't wait to go back!!

I met a friend for breakfast this morning, and everything from start to finish was spot on. I ordered the Sweet Jalapeño Sandwich: an English muffin piled with jam, bacon, an egg cooked over medium, and cheddar, served with home fries. It was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just a little kick. My friend stuck with her usual: the Banana & Bourbon Caramel Bread Pudding French Toast, topped with fresh bananas and their homemade bourbon caramel sauce, plus a side of pork belly. It looked incredible and, according to her, tasted just as good as it always does. We arrived just a few minutes after they opened at 8:00 and were seated right away. The service was friendly, attentive, and very prompt without feeling rushed. Scratch has such a great casual, local diner feel, but with a menu that's anything but ordinary. The portions are generous, the flavors are unique, and the quality is consistently excellent. Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or brunch...you really can't go wrong here.

White walls, glass windows in front, a few things hung on the walls. Not fancy, but pleasant. Very clean. The food is phenomenal. I've been dreaming about their biscuits and gravy since my last visit. Still perfect. The home fry-style potatoes are what a lot of places try to serve but fail at miserably. They are crispy AND fluffy! Yum! My scrambled eggs were not at all greasy or oily. My iced tea was delicious and refreshing. My lovely wife had the chorizo hash, which I tried. Oh, my. So good. And the chipotle crema on top was just perfect. They have excellent diner coffee here as well. My service experience was immaculate the first time and just OK today. He was fine initially, but I feel like he kind of forgot about us after he checked on our food. We were stuck way in the back. Maybe he was on a break, which is fine. I spent time as a waiter in two different restaurants, so I'm sympathetic, but I did not get a drink refill, and I wanted one pretty badly. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots, and it feels like a hidden gem.

Very, very tart. I was not a fan, my dad was going to drink it, our waitress: Deja noticed and offered to have it remade. I accepted, the bartender came out to drop it off and explained how she changed it up. She stood by me and waited until I tried it. A bit much, it was better. The tartness was only at the end for a brief moment. They didn't have a specific gluten free menu, but Deja did tell us what was naturally gluten free and/or could be modified. A lot of the food is made in house. A lot of it looked appealing, but they had gluten free noodles that were not made in house. So I went with a trusted filet mignon cooked medium. The demi glace was an excellent touch. The potatoes were pretty good. The broccolini wasn't what I was hoping for. My parents dishes were much larger. Leftovers were had and enjoyed on a second day. I would maybe try the short ribs next time we would go. The building is very rustic and decorative. The bathroom is upstairs; an elevator is present is needed. A very interesting place. Staff and kitchen very accommodating. The prices are high for the amount you're given. Would love some in house pasta that is gluten free with an in house sauce.
