Be careful on the all you can eat $40 seafood boil. When you order this, everyone at the table must order the same thing according to what the waiter told us the day we went. I explained to the waiter that I want to order something different than the seafood boil and that I understand the all you can eat, but we just are gastric bypass patients so we will not be getting any second rounds. I explained that our stomachs are little and that we're more here to taste everything. He told me that if anyone eats from the crab boiler bag then each person at the table will be charged $40. It was four of us at the table, two ppl ordered the seafood bag, one order of pasta, and one order fried shrimp and french fries. I explained to the waiter that we will not be asking for any second helping of the all you can eat seafood boil your bag. He continue to explain to me that we'll get the charge and that they watch the cameras to see if we're picking anything out of the seafood boil tray bag. It is served as a family style so I politely ordered dessert and before I even ate, I asked them to cash out the check because I was not going to pay $40 if I took a bite of my five euro seafood boil your bag. It is customary for a mother to check all of her kids food before she handed to them and we check it by tasting it Now I can see if I was going to ask for another round of seafood boil, but I explained in the beginning, I will not be asking for any rounds aside from the one that you brought out. The waiter was nice, but the service was very poor. It took forever to bring our drinks. The drinks came 10mins after the food was served on the table, which took around 20 -30mins minutes and not all of them were brought out. I had to go and to the cooking station counter and ask him for it. The seafood boil bag is made out of cooking oil and then 3/10 in taste. The Cajun shrimp pasta was ok 7/10. Over all I wouldn't go back. read more

Crab N Spice Carson - Seafood Near Me - Carson, California

went for my birthday. smelled amazing and I got the ayce deal. I picked the crab n spice sauce and it was DISGUSTING. I am not sure if one of the seafoods I picked went bad and its flavor took over everything but every piece of seafood in the boil has this horribly nasty wheat/grain flavor to it that was so overwhelming and disgusting and something about it was so off. I am not sure if this is the sauce, the seafood chosen, or the food went bad. The crawfish also had a grey hue to the meat. I felt so sick after eating just two bites I had to step away and was gagging trying not to throw up. I am so incredibly disappointed in my birthday meal I can't believe I paid for nausea on my birthday. I am never coming back it was HORRIBLE read more

I stopped by recently, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The service was friendly and efficient, even with a busy crowd. The staff checked in regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. The casual, lively atmosphere makes it a great spot for a fun night out with friends or family. We went to so many places and they wouldn't take us!!! But G did!!!!! read more

They attract you with the all you can eat however , you are charged if you don't eat all your food and if there is food left over in any sort . The food was horrible we had to send it back at least twice before settling for the not so good tasting seafood . The customer service was not very warming or helpful they were not interested in helping with satisfying after so many attempts . read more

Crab N Spice Carson - Yummmmmmmmmmy - Seafood Near Me - Carson, California

Kenneth provided excellent service, and the food was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend it!

This spot isn't all-you-can-eat, and the food lacked flavor. Almost everything comes with an extra charge. Very disappointing after driving nearly 2 hours. I wouldn't recommend it--there are much better seafood places with fair prices read more

I usually don't do this but I had to make a yelp just so I can let you guys know how HORRIBLE this food is. For one I went yesterday which was Valentine's Day and waited a hour to be seated that's when they explained they didn't have all you can eat on holidays when they should've stated that soon as we got there I paid $75 for them to serve me some OLD ASS SEAFOOD ‍ I couldn't even go to sleep last night do the the stomach cramps that sent me to the bathroom ALL Night! This was by far the worse experience I had smh the waiter was extremely nice I guess I would be too knowing I'm about to serve you some salty old seafood smh I don't recommend anybody going to this spot at all read more

This was my first experience at Crab and Spice. Upon entering the establishment, my family was greeted with a warm welcome. We were promptly seated and servers were eager to engage with our semi-large party of 9. Our order was delivered fairly quickly and the food was amazing!!! The all-you-can eat buffet was a little challenging to understand at first, but the servers made it easier to comprehend. Overall if you desire change from the other cajun crab restaurants, then give Crab and Spice a try. Brandon and Kaye were our servers and I must say, exceptional customer service. Joule (manager) has an amazing staff, keep up the great work!!! read more

My daughter & I went 2 Crab & Spice & were disappointed it's not a "all u can eat" seafood spot as previously advertised & sooo many rules we left! 1) If one person gets all u can eat the whole table has to or sit separately. The only thing that's unlimited is head on shrimp, muscle & clams. 2) There are specific side items u MUST choose from. 3) There is a seating time limit then u will be asked 2 leave. 4) Not a rule but 1 lb of King Crab is $75 That's only 2 legs! This is our 2nd time trying this place & not eating. The 1st time we asked how long the wait was they told us "could be 2 could be 3 hours we don't know". I hope others have a better experience because I love the fact we have a seafood place in the city. They just need to get it together. read more

I came here with my friends for the first time, and the AYCE was definitely worth it, the food was pretty good! However, the fries we were served had clearly been sitting in the fryer basket for a while, so they came out cold and soggy. We asked for fresh ones, which were much better. Our server, Michelle (who I believe is also a manager), was unfortunately rude to our table and barely checked on us during our visit. Most of our service actually came from K, who was incredibly sweet and helpful.. thank you, K, for making our experience so much better! I also want to add that, Des, was also helpful and kind with my group as we checked in and waited to be sat. Michelle didn't seem to check on us until after complaints about her were made, and even then, she spent most of her time at the host stand chatting instead of running food or checking in. She started coming by more often as we were getting ready to leave, but by that point, it was too late to improve the experience. Despite the poor hospitality from Michelle, everything else, especially thanks to K, was great. read more

I went in today at 12:29 pm to order the pirates choice combo for to go. I was told there were no sausages available, which is a bummer but I asked it would be possible for them to substitute it with quail eggs. I also ordered some add-ons which I know it was 1 corn and 2 potatoes. But then I found out that they didn't give me the add-ons that I paid for and I don't even think they substituted my sausage (which its possible that the eggs got smooshed so I would accept that). I am complaining because I expected that I would get what I paid for but all I get is the combo with lots of oil and undercooked mussels. I'm quite disappointed considering I tipped them out of goodwill too. You can have the money I paid for, I get that we all make mistakes. I just hope that every staff would double check the items so this wouldn't happen again. read more

The food is good, very good usually this is my favorite place to eat Cajun, usually they always treat well and are very friendly but the last two times I went I was served by Michelle she has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life, super unpleasant! It's a shame because the other girls are very kind. I hope the owner or supervisor takes it into account read more
