Clean store, friendly and fun staff that took care of everything I needed. I wasn't sure about getting COX mobile but Yolanda (phenomenal person), along with Adam, Curtis and Luna were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable that it was a no-brainer to switch. I am extremely satisfied so far! read more

Can't recommend this store enough! Everyone I encountered was extremely polite, professional and welcoming. Just had to return some equipment and Jesus did it so quickly and professionally. Highly recommend this store. read more

You can count on several outages every day, and virtually no support other than 'unplug your modem and plug it back in.' If I could rate their service zero stars, I would still feel like that inadequately describes just how bad it is. I typically don't review any business or service, but as an ISP, Cox is so abysmal at the one thing they're supposed to do, it led me create this Yelp account and post this review. Hopefully some prospective customer reads this, and it saves them the time and money of having to deal with Cocks Communication. -Posted via my cell provider's LTE, since once again, I'm not connected to the home network I pay nearly $70/mo for. read more

Cox Cable has been the worst. Very unreliable and horrendous service with high fee charges for coming out to fix something they should be handling regardless. read more

Absolute worst customer service, I came to drop off a router and I was waiting for over 40 minutes to even be acknowledged, all of the workers completely ignored the fact they had like 20 people waiting to be serviced, bunch of lazy incompetent workers just wasting people's time, try another store!! this one will not help and waste your valuable time read more

This has to be the worst internet I have ever used. Your service and business is an absolute joke. The internet rarely works and when it does it's slow as shit. The service provided to me from a chimp would be more useful than the service you guys provide. Count your days as a company, because they are numbered. read more

Worst internet provider on planet earth. Promises speeds up to lure people to sign up, then delivers a fraction of those speeds. When calling customer service, complaints are dismissed with "we know that's a problem and we're working on it." Right now I'm paying for the highest tier of service, and my speed is nowhere near that. It goes up and down every day. read more

Words cannot properly express how much I HATE COX! Will be cancelling my service. 25 people in line when the store opened! I have to wait and all I'm doing is returning equipment. FYI! If you call to change or reduce your service, representatives will NOT allow you to speak with a supervisor. They hung up on me four times when I asked to speak with a supervisor! I finally spoke with a supervisor who refused to offer me the advertised rate so I disconnected my service. A week later I get a letter from Cox offering me a 40% discount if I continue service. My advice: Hold out for a better rate or cancel service and use your money for things in life that are really important! read more

Choosing Cox for my cable service was one of the biggest mistakes I've made in my life. I would never recommend them to any one! I asked for one service, the most minimal channels because I am getting ready to retire, and need to cut costs, they set me up on a bundle package with options I never asked for, and locked me into a 2 year contract that I can't afford or get out of. They are deceptive, greedy, inconsiderate and impossible to deal with. When I called for help to change or reduce my service, they were rude and one of the reps hung up on me. NEVER EVER DEAL WITH COX!! 2 YEARS I HAVE TO DEAL WITH SUBSTANDARD SERVICE. I WOULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 10 IF ALLOWED! read more

cox internet is constantly going offline , every single day. It's also very slow . you guys really should lower your prices for the amount the internet is always going out . read more

I sweat to fucking christ if I have to listen to another customer service rep I'm going to lose it. I haven't had one conversation with a competent employee and the wait times are absolutely insane for this service. It's impossible to get people to get to my house, the times they give are awful, I had to reschedule with the technician twice, and the third time he was late. All of this too for slow ass internet that goes down half the time anyways. Complete waste of money, absolutely garbage service, avoid Cox like the plague if you care about having a shred of sanity. read more

Worst mistake you will ever make. Like paying for high speed but not getting it? You'll love these bozos! World's worst customer service? Got ya covered! Like having a gentle breeze knock you off line? Oh man, these jerks are here to make you proud! You'll love swearing at the website, trying to pay your bill. You'll thrill to absolutely horrendous experiences dealing with them in any way, shape, or fashion. Oh the joys I've had being lied to! Wow. Good times. Yep, if you're a masochist who just loves pain, you will love dealing with Cox! I'm so satisfied with the stunt they just pulled, we just called and told them if the cable isn't off our property when I get home, it's getting clipped with garden shears and so help me, I will. You don't build customer satisfaction like that with just any bad service, these guys are world class! read more

WORST fucking company to deal with as a customer; however, BEST company to work for. One literally only has to know how to say "I don't know" and "I will transfer you" to have a job here. Everything about this company sucks. read more

Okay so I have never used Cox until today and I have to say I'm impressed. I walked in and the service was impeccable. Joshua who helped me was amazing. This service is terrible. There is constant outages, and they will CHANGE YOUR BILL WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. It's incredibly predatory and disingenuous. They have terrible customer service, and their sales reps are very disrespectful. I had a sales rep approach me WHILE I WAS SHOPPING FOR FURNITURE at walmart. I can not think of a single good thing about this company, the only reason they are around is because Tucson has no better alternatives. read more

I struggled with Cox inferior internet service for over a year before realizing I could to better. I had no obligation or commitment to them of any so simply called them and informed them to discontinue my service. It seems though that some (genius) at Cox has devised a cute little SCAM so it is very inconvenient difficult or even impossible to stop service. When you call to stop service you are asked a bogus security that is impossible to answer, so then you are told they will not stop your service. On my fourth attempt to reason with now a supervisor (senior scam artist) I am told the only way around the security issue is to come to Tucson a 150 mile trip at the time to get it stopped. I reluctantly make the drive enter the store on east Broadway and see there is a line out the door and extending at least 50 yards and there is rain and lighting. When I tell the Cox employee what I need of course I am told to go wait in line. I best not say what my response was. Needless to say I ain't waiting in there ***** line. I tried once more to reason with Cox by phone but how do you convince a con-artist not to con you. So the next phase of this charming Cox scheme is to try to intimidate and harass you into paying for service you stopped and did not use by turning there wolves on to yohttps://www.yelp.com/biz/cox-store-tucsonu in the form of a collection agency. I have two witness to this hole crazy scheme. Cox has threatened my excellent credit and name but I will not pay them extortion money. Where are other options for internet and other Cox services hopefully others can avoid this horrible and time consuming SCAM. Sincerely, Richard J. read more

The phone receptionist was for some reason too emotionally invested in the fact that I was cancelling my cable and had no explanation as to why. She had the worst attitude for the entire call. When I got to the shop to return my modem I was rudely greeted and witness the customer service rep fussing/yelling at an older woman about asking questions....overall awful facility, even worse staff. At least it's over now. read more

Okay so I don't know if I just got lucky or what but this experience was awesome. From the person I chatted with online to walk me through the online ordering, to the pickup of the equipment (I'm pretty techy so I love that they offer the option for you to set everything up yourself same day), to the speeds actually being what they say, at least for now, they nailed it. I'm new to the area and Cox is the only cable service provider at my residence. I think it took about 2.5 hours from my first inquiry to me back at home writing this post on their internet service. We ordered 150mbps service and the speed test results are as follows: Hardwired from their modem/router - 180mbps down 10mbps up Wireless from their modem/router - 170mbps down 10mbps up Hopefully my service stays this way and I won't have to upgrade. Also, as far as the store itself, they were super quick, helpful and Covid conscious, well spaced out and screening people at the door. So far so good Cox. Please keep it up. read more

They're all rude and unprofessional. They are all on different pages and there is no consistency!!!! Switch to century link.

Staff is friendly but the location is understaffed. There are not enough Cox stores for the city. On a Friday morning there was standing room only waiting to see a customer service represenative. Inefficient process to return leased equipment. read more

I'm not really into reviews but, enough is enough, I am unhappy with the business COX CABLE had to offer. I closed my account before the end of my billing cycle 7 weeks ago. I returned the router to find that apparently internet is more of an NEED than a WANT because there must have been 20 customers waiting in line. I've with the company via telephone on two different occasions where the 'sales rep' was difficult. Nobody should have to fight to get their service turned off. Supply and demand I suppose. Since internet is a necessity these days all I can do I voice my opinion. Even with two stars it will not make much different. COX/INFINITY is in a state of motion that will never cease. People could bad mouth all day but the reality is that corporations are almost perpetual and a few bad reviews mean d***, I mean COX. read more

Charge you more than they say they will. Internet is slow and intermittent. You won't be able to listen to music or watch shows. I have to start this off by saying this, Natasha gave me the best customer service I have had jn a long time. This girl was so awesome with the guy in front of my that he asked to speak to her manager just to say so. After a while i got called by her(luck of the draw who u get) and she was the same happy, outgoing, professional person that she was with the past customer. She made the whole experience worth it! Ok to the actual review! You walk in and thwy sign you in and tell you to take a seat. I can see that on some days the wait time coud get pretty bad, but I waited only about 10 to 15 minutes. After that one of them calls you up and thwy address the problem. My problem was I was given a defective modem and needed a replacement. Mine was a pretty simple straight forward and simple request so it was done quickly. The service was OUTSTANDING and the people are friendly. I cant say much for the other stores, but I had a great experience. KEEP IT UP NATASHA!!! read more

This Cox Store staff is awful, and would give zero stars if I could. Cox phone Tech support directed us to take our equipment to the store for replacement to fix our issue. The store gave us a new Cox Contour Box and remote. We spent several more hours trying to get it work before we gave up, and had to return it because the remote and box wouldn't talk to each other. After we explained this to the team at the store during our 2nd trip, they provided us with another box and another remote and insisted that these units had been already paired, and that the box was already activated.. Several more hours wasted, still at complete standstill. Got so frustrated we called tech support and insisted on a tech being dispatched. Turns out the 2nd set of equipment couldn't have been paired as the remote was for Xfinity boxes not contour boxes. 2 out of 2 trips were as complete bust... Will never go back. read more

I spoke with a rep on the phone to establish a new contract. All was well until I looked at my bill online. The amount had gone up. I set up a chat session, informing the rep I had renewed my contract, and the rep assured me the problem was taken care of. A few days later, I looked at the bill and it had not changed. I set up another chat session, informing the rep I had recently renewed my contract AGAIN, and he told me two of my promotions had expired. I hadn't had the account ONE month, and promos expired?!!! I went to the store and talked to Tommy. He told me I had no contract. I attempted to show him my chat sessions, and he basically told me he wasn't responsible for another rep's work. He told me there was a rate increase after my chat sessions, and there was nothing he could do about reinstate my amount. He told me to call the Loyalty Department and maybe someone could help me. If Cox reps cannot be held responsible for what they put in print, then I don't want to have Cox as my carrier. read more

I got a WiFi modem yesterday and it hasn't been working, at all, I can connect to the WiFi but it won't let me go on the internet. So i texted the representative that bought it and she has been sorta helpful and really nice, her boss and her don't know what's going on though, they are saying that it's connected and should be working correctly but it's not. So I called the store and I've been waiting for another representative for 30 minutes now. I'm pretty pissed read more

Cox can't figure out how to do automatic payments. I pay $50 a month, but one month they just didn't charge me (apparently they don't know what automatic means), and then the next month I was charged double, which would make sense except they charged me double twice. So then I paid $200 and had a $100 balance on my account. What the actual he l l? Get a grip Cox. If you're going to essentially have a monopoly on internet, please have at least the basics down on how to run a business. I was told by a customer service (if you can call it that) representative that a supervisor would reach out to me to explain what happened. WHAT A SURPRISE that no one ever did. Cox is terrible. Terrible. read more

This was the worst place I have ever visited for anything. There were 2 agents on the floor, yet there were at least 50 people waiting in line. They should have the foresight to plan ahead. They sure do charge enough for their crappy service to afford more agents. read more

I needed to transfer internet service because I was moving within town. I had two wait about 15 minutes, which is the only reason I am giving four instead of five stars. However, even with regard to the waiting, I found that they were very organized. They have an employee at the door whose only job is to greet you and put you on the wait list and tell you how long you will have to approx wait (her estimate was correct, too). The employee I spoke to (Marco) was very friendly, seemed honest, and competent. He was very uncomplicated and quick. After about 20 minutes, I was out of the store with internet service transferred. I especially liked that Marco was very honest and advised me to take a cheaper option with less speed because I am using an older modem and the modem cannot reach the speed of the more expensive options cox offers. Internet immediately worked at the new place. There were no problems at all. read more

If I could give Cox a one star review I would. I can't express how FRUSTRATED I am with their service!!! 1. I had an appointment & an email confirmation number back on March 21st between 10am -12pm to install internet in our new home. I decide to confirm this around 10am. I provide the confirmation number and had to speak to FOUR different representatives before getting the answer that they are unable to come out because of COVID. Okay fine, I can understand that but why they no one let me know that. I had to call and find out...horrible service. 2. A second appointment was schedule on May 23rd (yes I have been without wifi for TWO months!!) and guess what...they never showed up. And what's even worse this Jackie lady made us feel stupid & stated their was no record!! Feed up and with their stupid service and communication issues! We will never be using COX. read more
