Man, I've got a love/hate relationship with these guys. Best internet in the city hands down...but worst customer service (but typical for cable providers). They talked me into this Cox HomeLife technology which has been nothing but a headache. 3 tech visits at $75 a pop to have them sound out some college drop out to plug wires in and read out of a manual and still get it wrong. After this last complete shut off with the system I called tech support, they tell me the typical we will send a tech out again, I said isn't there another option? They say go to the store that sold it to you, they can help. I spend a Saturday morning waiting on line for about 35 mins to be told "We don't service or do anything with Cox HomeLife" from a Cox store worker who sold me the upgrade lmao. We have to send out a tech. You can't make this stuff up, this company is all about the money and can't even service the equipment and accounts they sell you. PS All I need them to do is reset the account to gain access to the sign in screen but as the guy says "It's technology we can't always get it right". Thanks for offering to Wave my 4th $75 fee this time.

But this phone was on its last leg! Not only did I upgrade to the most current iPhone, I also moved carriers. Clearly the new carrier is Verizon. Now that I've given the history and my "iPhone bio", let me tell you what changed. In comes Michael G. He was knowledgeable and listened to everything I said, even the details of how I liked to travel, job life , etc. I mention this because upon receipt of the quote for all the new gadgets and services, Michael had customized the plan so that it covered domestic and international travel. Most wouldn't pick up on that, but he did. He was also acutely aware of how I did not want to be going through the process of setting up a new phone, watch, or an iPad and he did it all. I have to give a shout out to his manager. He was awesome. I was a walk-in later in the evening and they didn't rush me. He offered me and other customers water as we were waiting. He was very thoughtful with all customers. Sidenote, there was a very cranky individual this particular evening and the staff and the manager handled it with grace. So, I guess you can say that I loath the process a little less now. Thank you, Michael and team Verizon! Let me not forget to mention that I also went back today because I was having issues with some of the apps and again I walked in late, but they made sure they resolved the problem even after they officially closed.

He was a greta salesmen. Listened your needs, asked and answered questions. Would explain why you might want this over that. Sadly he no longer works there and with him went all the humanity verizon had I guess. Went in the other day and instead of actually listening to what we were looking for, what we were comfortable spending, what our family wanted, was told what phones we were getting without anyone actually showing us a phone or selling us on them. Was quoted double our current plan. Tried to sell my husband a big brick of a phone. No not even sell it. They TOLD HIM THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. The man carries a iphone SE because its tiny and fits in his work shirt pocket. Salesman didnt care. When we pushed back even a little we were met with ITS 4000$ WORTH OF PHONES. Yeah I dont want to spend 3 years paying for 4000 dollars worth of phones. My husband wanted to know about camera quality on different phones. The reply was my iphone does that. Then He zoomed into the carpet instead of across the room or telling us anything relevant, dont even know what phone it was! Verizon went from a ok place were salesmen where there to meet your needs and maybe talk you into something a little nicer to telling you what you were getting and making you sound ungrateful if you questioned it. Sadly if they had come at us with even a modicum of like what our needs or wants were we would have been open to staying with them out of convenance. If they had actually had a personable sales clerk working and not just a button pusher checking in with "chief salesman" to make sure the couldn't add on any other costs they would still have our business. There are sooo many other options now days. We are glad to move on. Oh and they need to get actual chairs with backs on them!

This is a screen protector that goes on easily, protects the screen, and doesn't get in the way. You could buy a lot of plastic screen protectors for your money, but Zagg is hoping that the increased protection and the warranty it offers would be enough for you to spend a little bit more. I think it is a worthwhile deal. For a smartphone that can cost upwards of $650 for the 16 GB SIM free model, the reassurance offered by Zagg is value for money. When the moment comes and the screen protector does become damaged during general use, Zagg offers a lifetime guarantee on the Shield. For the life of the device that the Shield is stuck to, Zagg will replace any worn or damaged screens (but they may ask you to cover the installation charge, and you do need to return the defective screen protector). If the addition of a screen protector is partly about peace of mind as well as the prevention of an expensive repair, then Zagg's warranty is a layer of mental protection for the user. When you look at the cost and wonder why it is much higher than other alternatives, part of the answer is that it is glass and the other part is the guarantee. You're not buying one screen protector, you're buying one with a workable warranty. Great people, superior product and outstanding warranty... Incredible. Lifesavers. 100/10…read more I fully submerged my iPhone 6 in water and couldn't fish to out for a full 30 seconds. Tried the rice method but not until a few hours later. The result, not unexpectedly, was disastrous. Half the phone screen turned black, or started pushing buttons itself, or wouldn't respond, or wouldn't turn on, and then, finally, it would just flashed a green screen at me at a nightclub rave tempo. Summary: worst case scenario. It was the weekend and I rely on my phone for personal life and work. I was panicking. I feared not only for my news feed, but for the clients that couldn't get ahold of me bright and early Monday morning. I googled the nearest place with the best reviews. Then searched again for anyone open on a Sunday at noon (not many). These guys popped up; I went in with a bank card and blind hope. Expecting to have to buy a cheap full-in phone until I could sort out this mess with Apple or AT&T. Expecting to kiss my savings account goodbye. These guys are outstanding. I walked in, explained the situation. They gave me a full quote and walked me though the possible damages and repair options. Sent me to kill time for an hour, and when I came back about 50 minutes later, they had it mostly fixed. They switched it between the old and new screen right in front of me so I could understand the situation. Opened it up and showed me the damages. I know nothing about the inner workings of an iPhone, but they broke it down for me unprompted so I could grasp what I was in for and what to expect. Told me the worst case scenario (needing to send it elsewhere for further repairs), but made it clear they'd do everything they could. Reminded me of any possible costs and double checked that I was okay with them. Never made me feel like I'd be left high and dry (which would've been fair; they fix phones, they don't perform magic, and I'd essentially sent it to the Shadow Realm). As a bonus, the guy who helped me was really polite about the privacy of my phone. Let me key in the password and double checked that I was okay with him entering any apps to confirm the functionality of the phone - even when going into Settings. Was super thorough and dedicated to making the phone 100% again, even when I admitted I was willing to just take a phone that could send texts, make calls, and receive emails. Friendly, calm, professional; that was exactly what I needed when looking at my year-old, $900 investment and control hub of my life, sitting possibly dead on the counter. Went to kill time for another 15 minutes. When I came back, he had it all patched up and gave me a rundown of the final fixes. Noted that one or two minor glitches did happen (battery level fluctuated some), but gave me the option of fixing that then (maybe unnecessary) or coming back if there was an issue with a $10 discount on replacing the battery. Never pressured me to buy anything else and was very frank about the state of my phone. I was in and out in an hour and a half, tops. I came in with a phone that probably needed a full replacement. Walked out with a fully functional phone that had a new screen, a few circuit repairs, and other minor tweaks that had it living life again. $100-ish dollars in total, on the weekend, less than three hours after I'd TOTALED the thing. I'll recommend these guys forever, and you won't catch me upgrading to a new phone again just because something is wrong with my old one. This place works miracles!

[revised 2026-09-20] Moving down from 3 to 2 stars…read more Yet another major outage in Nogales/Rio Rico last night, about 10-11 hours, separate from the one earlier this week. (i.e.: two outages this week in Nogales/Rio Rico, totaling around 18 hours give or take). I don't know the cause. Screenshot attached of their status page on this incident The actual start of the incident was about 47 minutes earlier than the status page says, in my estimation. I do not know why it appears that it took 7 hours to investigate before sending someone to the site for repairs. I don't keep good receipts but over the last 90 days I'll estimate (probably badly) 30 hours of downtime, some of it specific to Nogales/Rio Rico. So: around 98.6% of network uptime (give or take). Over those 90 days, that's one nine instead of the three nines they aspire to. I will revisit this yelp rating of 2 in 30-90 days to try to be fair to the company and see if they seem to be back on a path to objectively better network uptime numbers. [revised 2026-09-19] 2026-09-17: There was yet another outage yesterday, for 7-9 hours during the day, this time confined to the Nogales/Rio Rico area and perhaps Marana. [another fiber optic equipment cut]. I think it would be a good idea if I just estimate the number of 9s of network uptime I'm getting on a 90 or 180 or 365 day basis, and then base my star rating largely off of that. From my conversations with sales and customer service, the company really has taken (presumably expensive) measures over the last few quarters to install redundancy, as some of us were asking. So, this does amount to part of why I'm leaving them at 2, and leaving the door open to re-evaluating soon, and not putting them to 1. But the last few months also appear to show that Nogales/Rio Rico has been particularly hard-hit, and I'm hoping they can evaluate if there's anything that can be done to shore up their backup/redundancy/monitoring/maintenance in that area. Also, I used to be more dependent on this connection than at present. So, while I can wait out their growing pains, I would not blame other customers in this area from finding backup or alternative providers.
