Diana and Salma (Manager) were absolutely amazing through the entire process. It took 3 different days and roughly 3 hours each visit to identify the problem, troubleshoot with 3 different carriers on a conference call, explain thoroughly to me, present the solution, suggest temporary measures, assistance returning a phone, follow through with corporate processes, as well as having to follow up and they could not have been more professional, courteous and accommodating. As stressful and frustrating as this debacle was for me, they empathized and worked hard on its resolution. They made me feel like we were a team together, not as though I was a problem customer and they were corporate, if that makes sense. The long visits never felt that long and I would leave the store with confidence and trust that they 'had my back'. I was very close to just cancelling the transfer and retreating to my prior carrier but did not do that as a direct result of these two stellar employees. I went to their "office" and it was disappointment from start to finish. I walked into a room with 2 guys, a desk, and pure awkwardness. I told him that I was the one who inquired about the new iPhone camera on yelp. He looked through his messy desk and determined he couldn't find my part and I would have to wait til Monday. So I left. Just downstairs in the same building, was San Diego Jailbreak. I went into a nicer "office" where the owner, Jeff, was very polite and helpful. He quoted me the same price as his competitor, but he actually had the iPhone part I needed. What's cool about Jeff's business is that he has a waiting room, so you don't have to deal with the awkwardness of watching someone fix your phone. Part of the time I was waiting, I sat near his desk to watch some college football on TV and he was even social enough to have some good conversation while he worked. He was able to replace my iPhone camera within 15 minutes and it was as painless as it could possibly be. He did it quick at a fair price of $50. I guess the only thing the other guys had a leg up on, was that they offered me a 6 month warranty on the new camera and San Diego Jailbreak only offered 60 days. So, my piece of mind is a little questionable. Despite that, Jeff seems like the type of guy who would take care of his customers. Also, he's a self proclaimed perfectionist and I can totally see that watching him work. I'll be back here for any phone repairs in the future! 5 stars!

They told me this without actually pulling out my CPU to test it, and claimed that I damaged it by installing my cooler wrong, and there was only a 50/50 chance my processor was still working - I don't know how they could've possibly known that without actually touching the processor at all. When they returned my computer, it was missing the card rail clip, the velcro straps that I use to manage my cables, and the front panel header had been unplugged and rewired incorrectly. This store made an already incredibly stressful situation twice as stressful and last twice as long by giving me wrong information and leaving my computer in a worse state than they received it in.

He showed up with a condescending, lazy, and completely unprofessional attitude. Instead of doing any real troubleshooting, he spent most of the time deflecting responsibility and repeating, "I'm not a magician," like that somehow excuses not doing the job he was hired to do. It was obvious he was looking for ways not to fix the problem. Minimal effort, zero urgency, and no accountability. When I finally checked him on his attitude, the tone shifted immediately. The arrogance disappeared, and suddenly he backed down. It was clear he's comfortable talking down to people--until he's called out. The actual "work" was just as bad. He sat on my bed for an extended period doing next to nothing while waiting for the hotspot to reconnect, acting like that counted as troubleshooting. At one point, he even went through personal items in my home to find something to reset the device. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Four days later, I get a call from Marie (who I would guess is his mom) claiming she wanted to "understand what happened." That quickly turned into more of the same--deflection, excuses, and blaming the customer. She even raised her voice and said, "But did he fix the problem?" as if that wipes away the behavior. For the record, the issue was only resolved after he finally decided to replace the hotspot--something that could have been done from the beginning if he wasn't so busy avoiding the work. I've had plenty of technicians in my home over the years--never once had an issue like this. Not with me, not with my landlord, not with anyone. This was different. This was blatant disrespect paired with laziness and a complete lack of professionalism. At the end of the day, this feels like a company that lacks accountability from top to bottom. Based on this experience, it's no surprise they struggle to grow. Customer service: 0/10 Effort: 0/10 Professionalism: nonexistent Do yourself a favor and go with literally anyone else!
