I have already filed a complaint with the BBB. www.sandiego.bbb.org On July 24,2015 John came to my house from Jack's Expert TV & HIFI Center (the other name for Chula Vista TV & HiFi Center. He came out to the house to inspect my LG tv. He determined that the main board was bad. That's why my HDMI ports would not work. John at that time said that the part was in stock and it would be here in 7 business days. We settled on a price and out of good faith I paid john up front $305.00 for the repairs, labor and material. I was leaving for vacation at the end of the month and I told John that he could do the repair after I got back. I returned from vacation on Friday August 14th I called John on August 17 so he could do the repairs. John's reply was that the part was on back order. I asked when will it be in, he said it should only be a few more days. I called john September 3 I got the same answer part is still on order. Called John again September 18, he said that he needed to order the part from another vender be cause mine was not in stock in the USA. Still no part Finally on September 23 I stopped in at John's shop on El Cajon Blvd and requested that he give me a full refund due to him not delivering on the part or installation. He did at that time agree to give me my money back. I asked when should I receive a check and he said in a couple of days. Shortly after I left the shop I got a voice mail on my cell phone that said, "I have good news I found your part it should be here in a couple of days." Its now Friday October 16 2015, John still does not have my tv part. I stopped in on John at his shop and demanded my money back since he has not delivered on my repairs. John gave me the same answer that I been getting since July. I ordered the part. I said that I want a full refund. It should not take 3 almost 4 months to receive a part for my tv. John would still not refund me my money. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB.

I am a new business and absolutely need internet since I am a e-commerce…read morebusiness, well they schedule a time , and the cox contractor shows up, well he couldn't do a connection cause it's Fiber-optic , SO .... he said that they would call me and schedule a cox tech to come by and do the install.... I received a call after I was already home (2pm) and when I received the msg they were saying the had a tech available and he would be at my shop at 3pm, so I drop everything and go back to my shop, at 5:20pm I start calling to see what's up: Well after 2 customer service guys hang up on me ("transfer me") I finally found a nice guy that actually looked into what happened. Well there was a massive miss communication internally and nobody was scheduled to show up..... And that is the problem with companies now a days, absolutely no customer service .. UPDATE: So I managed to get transferred to Cyndy , service coordinator in N. California, she was amazing, then if that wasn't enough, Diane Lee in S California , they are what customer service and leadership is all about , from follow up emails , to follow up calls, these ladies were the best that cox has ....... cox is luck to have them representing them

A few phone calls later, the call that solved the case was from a customer who told me Cox was blocking my site due to malicious activity. What?! Of course, I want to investigate the accusation and remediate the source of the activity. I reached a cooperative, sympathetic ear, and thought the case was on the way to a quick resolution. Nope! No follow-ups, no answers, no further communication whatsoever. Dead silence. And most importantly, no evidence to support Cox's claim of malicious activity. Find a different provider.

    For the most part my Spectrum/Charter service has been reliable. The reason I am giving Spectrum a…read morelower rating is because they were charging me for 200 Mbps service when I was only receiving 100 Mbps. Their excuse for not fixing the issue on their own was they had a merger and did not take it upon themselves to alter the agreement I had previously. I did not have a previous contract that they would have needed to alter. I feel when they altered their service they should have informed customers of the available services. They knew I was paying for 200 Mbps service and left me at 100 Mbps. I contacted them in attempt for them to make right the deficiency, but they only offered to switch me to the 200 Mbps service that I had already been paying for for 4 years. They did not offer me a refund or any other form of restitution. I requested that they upgrade me to 400 Mbps service for 12 months at my current rate, but they specified they had no way of doing it. This is a classic example of a large company padding their wallet at the expense of loyal customers. Spectrum did not bury the broadband cables. They left the cables strewn across the ground, some cables were weaving through the pickets of my fence, and I even found a large heap of twisted cable overgrown by grass and weeds. I found a service hub in my back yard behind a tree next to my fence. The hub had cables running from it to other homes near me, and those cables were not buried either. Spectrum, please make this right.

When I signed up, the representative strongly promoted how "great" Spectrum Mobile is, how fast the internet/data would be compared to other providers, and how "cheap" the service would be overall. Those claims did not match reality at all. What bothers me most is not only the pricing change, but the attitude afterward -- it feels like customer concerns are NOTHING, and getting a straight answer is impossible. Because of the unexpected increase and the misleading sales pitch, I do not recommend Spectrum Mobile.
