She was very careful with my fabric and trimmed the right areas to make the dress fit perfectly. The bustle took some time, but ultimately looked beautiful in the end. Be wary, you have to come in at least 3 times for a wedding gown alteration and bustle. DON'T FORGET your shoes. She will not do anything unless you have your shoes. The ladies here were so sweet and easily knocked out the hem in a week. Since it was so quick I was able to also get a bustle for the dress. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone for any reason. I tried to have two items altered here, my wedding dress being the primary reason I went here as I referred from my bridal shop (Blue Bridal) who outsources their alterations but doesn't tell you that until after you purchase your dress. 1) Bridesmaid dress - I was in a wedding this summer and thought it good to have it altered here while I was coming in for bridal dress fittings. Tiffany was able to effectively shorten straps and hem skirt for $68 to mediocre quality at best, resulting in uncomfortable straps and a subtly uneven hemline. 2) Wedding Dress - I brought in my wedding dress in early June for my wedding on August 30. After over half a dozen fittings on August 4th and tons of complaining about how much work my dress would be, I arrived to find still no alterations had been made to my dress. I left very distraught and returned later that day to pick up my dress and desperately sought out another tailor who could squeeze me in on such short notice - not an easy feat in Austin. read more
