Saw everyone raving about this place online so naturally, we had to come check it out! They open late which is a huge plus! They had a pretty wide selection even 2 hours before closing. There's a guy in the back working hard, hand making all the donuts fresh! Customer service was amazing! Brody helped us out and was so kind. He let us try some samples and just overall went above & beyond for us! We tried the Classic Glazed, Maple, Strawberry Iced, Strawberry Jelly Filled, and etc. The donuts were so soft and delicious! Such a cool spot to grab a sweet treat! We will definitely be back whenever we're in the area! :) read more

High quality donuts and baked goods with friendly counter service at reasonable prices. Good sign when place has a line. We chose a dozen donuts ($23, 5/5 stars): Boston cream (my fave), chocolate glazed, pumpkin, lemon glazed, cinnamon sugar, and blueberry chip. Available flavors are well labeled in the large, well lit case. Donut holes and MASSIVE turnovers were tempting!! They also offer coffee but it's a push button machine so we went elsewhere to experience more "local" love. Clean space with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of shared lot parking spaces. read more

I love both Country Style locations. There are so many flavors to choose from and you can't beat their hours. My favorites are the boston creme, glazed custard, raised maple, and blueberry chip. I really appreciate that their chocolate glazes aren't too chocolately. They also have some massive pastries like the cinnamon bun. read more

Nothing for us here gluten free friends, but there sure are tons of options for everyone else! My husband and son LOVE Country Style. The prices are fantastic for the quality and size of the donuts and other baked goods. The apple fritters and turnovers are absolutely gigantic. If you want the best selection, go early in the day, but it's worth a late stop too. read more

We were visiting the area for our anniversary and had been craving donuts. We wanted something different then the chains we have back home like Krispy Kreme. Country Style Donuts was close to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. The shop itself is a little tucked away and has limited parking out front and the building definitely feels dated, but we were still excited to try something new. We picked out a dozen donuts planning to head back to the hotel relax with some milk and enjoy a couples movie night. Unfortunately, the excitement ended petty quickly. Even though we were told the donuts were baked fresh every morning, they tasted stale and completely lacked flavor. We each took a bite of every donut in the box, hoping maybe we'd just chosen the wrong ones to start with, but all of them had the same issue. They were dry, flat-tasking, and honestly inedible. We were planning to return the next day to take some home to family but after our first few bites that went out the window. On top of that the store itself could use some updating, and the bathroom espeically left a lot to be desired. Overall, we really wanted to love this place but the donuts just didn't deliver. Next time we are in the area, we'll have to look for a different spot. read more

What's a Saturday morning without a sweet treat? Stopped by Country Style in Broad street on a Saturday morning and was greeting by a warm welcome and smile. There was no wait and guest were sitting down enjoying their fresh pastries. My daughter requested an apple fritter and apple turnover and whoaaaa! I was so surprised by this giant pastry that 2-3 could enjoy. It was so fresh and delicious. I highly suggest you grab and friend it kid and go stop time for just a minute and enjoy a fresh sweet treat! Customer service is amazing and the coffee is hot also. read more

I'm on my search for the best jelly donut. This one didn't do it for me. Plus $15 for 6 donuts seemed a little high priced.

Just one of the best donuts around! Fresh, huge, distinct, not gourmet nonsense.....just a good donut and a lot of variety....I had a peach jelly! read more

These are the donuts you were looking for. Where do we start? Great selection. They have them all . Size? These donuts need to be tested for steroids! These puppies are HUGE. Easily twice as big as the other guys. But... It's the taste that counts. These are simply the best donuts I've ever had. EVER!!! Taste fantastic and true to its intended flavor. The lemon cream was tangy & tart while still being sweet but not too sweet. The blueberry had a lovely glaze and delicious berries. I could go on and on, till the break of dawn. If you want donuts that are a real treat not some cookie cutter franchise then give them a shot. I'll be picking some up for the Superbowl. And like Broadway Joe; I guarantee you'll love them. read more

This place makes the best donuts that I have ever tasted. The donut testure is akin to cake, and every bite is the same. Unlike some, I do not think that a donut should melt in your mouth and have no texture to chew. Country donuts are the exception that I have experienced. If you like various texture and taste to your donut, this is the place to go. read more

Stopped in for my weekly pick me up and learned that Friday is national donut day. I've been visiting this location for years after relocating from the east end. The quality is the same, the staff is always friendly and you'll always wish you bought more than one doughnut. About the only place in town for coffee and a doughnut under $5. read more

Busy place but the line moved quickly. I had watched a video about their huge apple fritters which are my favorite. The video shows a large amount of apple filling in the middle. Unfortunately, mine didn't seem to contain this. So, the apple part of the fritter was sparse. Disappointed. I'd give it 3 stars. We also ordered the apple turnover which the Mrs said was excellent. Definitely had the apple filling. 5 stars. So, combining the two items, a solid 4. They have an awesome assortment of different types of doughnuts. We'll probably stop for a dozen on our way out of town. read more

I love these donuts so much. They have the standard choices: strawberry iced, Boston cream... then they have some super fun stuff like guava cream cheese, or apple fritters that are literally as big as your head. One day, I am going to eat one of those giant fritters!!!!! The young gentleman who works here is always soooooo nice and patient and goes above and beyond, picking out the donut with the most icing for my son, explaining to my daughter the side-by-side comparison of eclairs versus Boston cream... this place is only a couple bucks more expensive than the chain places for a dozen donuts, but the selection and taste is infinitely better. It's a no brainer for us... we will always stop here for these yummy donuts! read more

Came here to pickup donuts. They had a variety of donuts to choose from. I got two dozen($21 per dozen) with a variety of everything. Staff was friendly with me and gave me their recommendations on the best donuts. Although a little more pricier for donuts compared to other place, it was definitely worth it to me! The floors were sticky and the taste of the donuts were not great. I ordered the powdered donut, glazed, sour cream, and buttermilk donut holes. Out of the four I tried, the glazed donut holes tasted the best. They were soft, light, and I would try them again. However, the other donuts were hard, dry, heavy nearly stale tasting. The price was not bad and the server was really friendly. read more

Been getting these since I was a little kid. Prices have gone up some, but they're high quality, and the exact amount of sweetness and texture you want when you imagine a donut. Also, the workers in there are always really sweet. read more

Yummy donuts, friendly staff, but a bit expensive. I had been going through a donut withdrawal, so I decided to stop in today based on all the great reviews. They have a good sized assortment of glazed, filled and cake donuts. I opted for a glazed blueberry and a coconut cake donut. Both were yummy and so thick, almost like having double-decker donuts! Unfortunately, due to the prices, this would be an occasional treat rather than a regular occurrence. read more

I came here before and enjoyed the donuts and coffee, so when in the area again I stopped in. Both times I got donuts and a gallon of coffee for coworkers for a meeting and both times they liked what I got. They have donut holes too, even seasonal ones, like pumpkin. They also have these huge turnovers, like apple turnovers. Staff is friendly and helpful too. Definitely worth stopping in! read more

I've heard so many great things about Country Style Donuts and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. In my opinion, it most certainly did! The donut shop is filled with nearly every type of donut that you can imagine. There's cream filled, cinnamon sugar, cake donuts, frosted, glazed, and more! Plus, they have other pastries like cinnamon rolls and Apple fritters that are nearly the size of someone's head. I opted for the blueberry cake, chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream filled, chocolate glazed with sprinkles, and chocolate glazed with vanilla buttercream filling. I truly enjoyed them all. The filled donuts are so big, I couldn't eat them all at once but the flavor is spectacular. You can order ahead of time and get your fonts on the go or there is seating available indoors and outdoors. Also, they offer donuts holes as well. I've seen many groups order them for treats to group events and parties. Regardless of what you need a treat for, Country Style Donuts are a delicious choice! read more

Visited on a Sunday. It wasn't busy at all, the weather was mild; the energy in the location: very comfy.. The service was quick! I'm not sure what title the person who served us had but they were personable and sweet. The donuts?! Amazing! This was my first time going all in and ordering my own donuts and I was so thrilled. The price is worth the quality. My sister and I ordered a dozen. I got the guava cream cheese (which I think was amazing but the sweetness of the guava jelly would've been better contrasted with a more tart cream cheese), the glazed chocolate, blueberry cake donut, Boston crème, custard filled and maple bacon. I love the fact that nothing is overly sweet or heavy. The buttery richness met with a lightness, especially, in the custard filled has me in country style donut heaven! read more

Well worth the hype. These donuts are hefty and delicious and I would probably eat one everyday if I had them, lol. The guy working there late on a Saturday even gave me a bonus donut which was so sweet! Taking off a star for not being allergen friendly at all- no gluten free or vegan options whatsoever on their menu, which makes it not a place that could appeal to everyone. Other than that, a good time! read more

Amazing, fresh donuts and a Really great selection. I had an apple turnover that was the size of a plate. Not a phyllo dough pastry, but a donut with apple filling. Filling was really good and not too sugary. Also had a pumpkin seasonal donut it was fantastic. My weakness is Boston cream also really good and so fresh. Coffee was just okay. Restaurant was super clean and staff are very friendly. Why here for donuts? Super fresh, quality and selection is a difference you can taste. Definitely worth a stop and good luck trying to decide. My wife and I were out late on a Saturday evening and wanted a dessert of some sort. I searched donuts and couldnt believe that this place was open until midnight. I also assumed that the donuts would all be gone and/or stale. Although there were a lot of empty racks... there were enough to pick from and they were fresh tasting! These are really good donuts! I can't resist a local donut shop! I stopped by this place yesterday to pick out two donuts. Yes, only two! I got the plain cake donut and maple glazed. I went in to Country Style Donuts for the first time this evening when a late-night donut craving hit. I saw how highly the shop was rated beforehand & I have to say I whole-heartedly agree with the 5-star ratings. I got a couple different flavors and they were very tasty! The glazed lemon had a perfectly tart custard that contrasted really well with the glazed donut itself. More than the donuts though-- the person that greeted me & helped me out during my visit was very friendly. I felt like he went above and beyond to make my first visit a great one. I really loved the wholesome vibe here (and the late hours, too!). I will definitely be frequenting this local spot going forward. 10/10 would recommend! read more

The donuts are okay but I wish they had a wider selection. I've gone here multiple times for a while now and am always disappointed by the lack of options. Their coffee is not very good.
