Stumbled upon this gem by accident, while visiting another store. I love going into International grocery shops so when I came into Lotte market and found Tour Les Jours I was floored! I've never been into a shop like this before the variety of treats, a small plates was so satisfying to see! They offer all kinds of drinks and snacks I was slightly overwhelmed. This Tous Les Jours is located inside the Lotte Market. If you are a fan of Korean bakeries, this is the place is go to. The pastries, cakes, and drinks are really good. My favorite drinks are the ube latte and the lavender matcha. The bakery is fairly small, but it has a cute ambiance and has plenty of seats inside and outside. The service is also great. If there is a pastry you want and you don't see, a worker will check if they have anymore for you. Overall, I highly recommend. Grab a drink you can enjoy while you grocery shop. read more

Wanted pastries in the afternoon not long before I knew most bakeries would have slim pickings or be closed already. Hadn't heard of Tous les Jours but saw they were open until 8pm so that boded well for selection! Note! This location is INSIDE Lotte market, which we didn't realize when we were driving up so there was a confused minute or two in parking lot where we thought we may be in wrong place or it may have closed down. Go inside Lotte market (also worth a browse, and some yummy asian food restaurants in a mini food court I plan to check out in future) and you will find Tous les Jours to the left ! We were greeted by beautiful display cases and a nice clean, bustling cafe space. It was a family outing so everyone chose a pastry and then all offered each other bites. What we got: matcha cookie brownie, twist donut, fruit topped montblanc, hazelnut chocolate dipped croissant, and a custard tart. Plus we got a lemonade for kids to share, I got an Americano and my husband got an espresso shot, and six macarons to go for later. Everything was delicious: tasted fresh, authentic, well made. Okay first , this place is a hidden gem ! came here for the Lotte market just to discover desserts. What a nice spot to grab coffee and dessert after food shopping. My favorite is ube filled donut . Cream is not overly sweet . The dough was soft and fluffy . I tried the pastry with frank sausage on the inside and it was so delicious and filling. To top it off I tried tiramisu Latte. Ah-mazing . I ask for extra shot of expresso to balance out the sweetness . There are also cakes that looks like it could send you to heaven after the first bite. Been going to Lotte Mart quite a lot sometimes but never bought from here looked but haven't bough went to phoenix and bought some last month and it was good. So bought some mixed berry danish, taro butter cream bread loaf of that dad loves it. spinach feta danish havent tried that one yet will eat that tomorrow. Greek Yogurt cherry dont know if that was the one I ate or brother and guava Danish that is for brother. I will be happy that they will be opening soon in Virginia Beach February in the hilltop area in the super Walmart shopping center. I've been wanting to check out Tous Les Jours since I found out we had one in Richmond. It's inside the Lotte Plaza Market, which also has 5 other restaurants not including tous Les jours! There are some great options to try here that are good. The Portuguese egg tart and the sugared croissant bun were simple but great. We also grabbed an ube donut. The donut itself was good, it had great texture. I was so excited to try it as I love ube and taro but the ube filling only tasted of gel food coloring and it stained the hands, mouths, and teeth of everyone who tried it. The filling was AWFUL. Stay away from the coffee here, it's truly some of the worst coffee I have ever had. On paper the service was fine but there were no smiles, and no pleasantries so it left our party feeling as though we were a complete inconvenience for the staff. This place is located within the food court area of Lotte Plaza Market. It looks just like a larger sized shop but scaled down for size. It operates the same for dots ordering to include a tray, wax paper liner, gloves, and tongs for food handling. Be aware that the line for food payment may be 7 people deep before it overflows to the main area of the marketplace. The pastries include bakery case and to go individual wrapped pastries. There are also macaroni, cake slices, and a large varieties of drinks. I will definitely be coming back to try more! read more

I LOVE self-service type bakeries like this. There is nothing better than going through and picking out the perfect pastry (or 12...) This one is no exception. The mango donut had this fluff inside of it that was amazing. It was so fluffy and sweet and tangy and unique. I loved it. We also ordered a strawberry pastry thing that I forgot the name of, but the crumb topping on it was so good. And we ate it the following day, so it is definitely amazing. The strawberries were a little "meh", but the rest of it was so good, I didn't mind. We got a fruit tart that was sort of flaky like a croissant and was filled with strawberry jam and cream. It was very good, though I did not get to try any of the fruit on top since my kids ate that all before I had a chance. We also ordered an elote flavored savory pastry and it was tasty, although I can't remember anything specific about it like I can the other things I ordered. We also got a hot dog filled savory pastry that was pretty good. The bread was very soft and sweet but still savory. Like a really good dinner roll. Yum! Wow, there is no shortage of delicious pastries here. They have a ton of sweet and savory options. We tried the blueberry jam mint and mango cream donut, and they were delicious and not overly sweet. The savory foods in here are out for a max of four hours as indicated by a sign, so just a heads up for any food safety conscious people out there. I got a gift card for my birthday from a friend to try Tous Les Jours and unfortunately they wouldn't take the gift card at this location but I'm hoping when I'm in NY next month that I'll be able to use it. My husband and I had fun picking up the tray and tongs and looking through the items in the cases. It was hard to narrow it down to a few items because everything looked delicious! We got a cherry danish, the frank pastry, and a strawbery cream donut. Each one was so flavorful - the pastry was so light, buttery and crispy and the donut was such a great fluffy texture with the sweet strawberry cream inside. We also got coffee - my husband got a latter and I got an iced mocha and it was delicious! The service was quick and we weren't given too much attention by the staff but we had a good time. Since it is in a grocery, I don't know if I would come here to sit and stay awhile but it was clean, had so many great options to choose from, and was different from other cafes that we've been before. I decided to stop in today to try this bakery based on the yelp reviews. It's located in the food court of an Asian supermarket. As you enter, you pick up a tray, tongs, and tray liner, then select your items. There was a good variety of pastries, both sweet and savory, prepackaged items, and more fancy desserts in the case by the checkout. I ultimately decided on a blueberry cream cheese pastry and a caramel almond pastry. I got them to go and found that the blueberry pastry was kind of soggy by the time I got home, but the caramel one was still crispy on the outside. The flavors were good for both. I bought the matcha cloud cake for my mother's birthday and she loved it! I'm so glad there is a Korean bakery in town now since I prefer desserts that are not too sweet. So happy Tous Les Jours is here in RVA. It is located in Lotte market food court. I absolutely love this cafe/ bakery. It is bright and aesthetically pleasing. Delectable fresh baked goods, cakes and pastries nicely displayed. Couldn't take pictures because it was busy with several patrons. Breads are amazingly pillowy and soft. The texture of the soufflé cheesecake was so light and airy. Ube anything and everything is chef's kiss Good array of beverages. The lavender and ube lattes are my fave. Spontaneously purchased a strawberry milk bread (pretty sure that's what it was... it looked like a little baguette and was stuffed with this decadent strawberry cream) and it was so delightful. I had bought it for my sons but as soon as I opened it up it smelled so good that I had to steal a bite and my goodness I'm glad I did because it was to die for. What a cute bakery! It's inside the huge Asian market in their food court. I went right when it opened so there was everything to choose from. Great parking, food court inside grocery store. Nice selections of delicious looking treats. Great display case. Plenty of seating since it's in a food court. Staff was friendly. Went on a Saturday morning back in August. This is located inside Lotte Market which gets crowded on the weekends. The cafe was packed since they recently had their grand opening. The workers were nice and we got our items in a timely manner. I was happy the bakery items were well stocked. Surprisingly it was the grand opening today for this location. It was about 3pm when I arrived to check out Lotte Market for the first time. The entire store was pretty much wiped out. I love tous Les jour and have been to their other franchises in nova and beyond and a big fan! Was excited to have them in Richmond. It's very small in the lotte food court compared to their full sized stores which means smaller selection. Love the pastries and cakes, very delicious. Some of my favs are the mango cake, cloud cake, and croquettes! The bakery products are outstanding and worth sampling. It is a true shame that the lack of customer service training or an on-site manager is impacting whether we continue being customers. We have visited when we shop at Lotte Market and for every time we have visited the employees are more interested in talking to each other than serving customers.
